Jeep Grand Cherokee Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Twilight Sparkplug wrote Well, I am. but at times I feel I am the only one who does, And I also feel the same about my comments on here. Personally the front end looks more like a Montero Sport. And the rear, Sure It can be slightly freelander like, it could also be like a Discovery, or a Montero, or a Land Cruiser. I always thought it looked liked the V70 Montero. Which isn't too far-fetched, considering that model actually around the late 90's.

MCI 102 EL3 Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | This bus can't be an MCI J 4500, because it was introduced in February of 2001, and according to this video, the Coach was already in the game at the point(at 0:26): www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es-yVL-AUMA I suggest to change it (and the one on the LCS page) to a 1997 MCI 102 EL3, the predecessor of the J 4500.
Dodge Intrepid Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Silnev wrote Because the design documents for GTA 3 were released and the beta kuruma is listed as being based off a 1997 model. Well, then the document is wrong. The Kuruma is based on the second generation Intrepid, and the first model year of the second generation Intrepid was 1998, not 1997. I'm changing it back. -- Last edit: 2021-10-23 14:59:19

Vector M12 Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Attacker1997 wrote But the only difference between Vice City Infernus and this one is that despite the changes, the final VC model still similar to a Countach, while in GTA III, the model changed so much that it lost almost all similarities to Diablo Then again, it doesn't look much like a Vector, the rear is completely different aside for the spoiler
Vector M12 Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Tuppence870 wrote We should really be giving this the same treatment as Vice City's Infernus. In that game, a Countach was heavily modified to the point where it's almost unrecognisable, and yet we still list it as Countach because that's clearly what inspired it. This Infernus is also fairly unique-looking. It does not resemble a Vector in anything more than a superficial sense, yet we know for a fact that it was inspired by the Diablo and some details still point that way. I don't know why some people seem to be under the impression that insider or developer information is invalid when identifying a car on this site. I can think of several examples lately where that sort of thing has been very helpful to moderators. If anything, it's the most reliable source of information out there. You make me remember a video that i watch about Vice City in the beginning of project, the game should have licensed cars but was abandoned to keep again in unlicensed cars. Infernus in one of beta Vice City promo images appear with a design very similar to 1985 Countach.

Vector M12 Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Silnev wrote We don't take that sort of thing into account, it's about how it's presented in the game not in the files. It's a Vector, let it go dude. Don't care about old name in the files and beta models anymore, the rear still from Diablo more than Vector.

Vector M12 Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Silnev wrote Superficial things like the rear design doesn't matter. There are alot of entries on the site where the car has a distinct shape in the front or rear but the rest of the car looks like a different vehicle. In any case the overall car doesn't look like a Diablo. In the beta it might of but that is beta content and most likely was a concept that never made it into the final game. That sort of thing is irrelevant. It may be, but only the sides along with the front of the car are customized and unrecognizable parts, the rear still has the visible silhouette of Diablo, as Mathias mentioned, in the game's scripts it is still called "Diablo". Even with the changes made from the alpha version to the final version, there are still more features of Diablo than Vector.
