Interstate '82 (1999) | Flippedoutkyrii a écrit Huh, this game has a lot of car variety and with higher fidelity models for the year it came out compared to it's racing competition! Yes, but that kinda came at the cost of most of the simulation aspects, and the character model. Cutscenes are impressive, tho, even for 1999, although, they didn't aged too well, they're too crusty and pixelated to tell what's happeneing more often than not.

Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 'KARR' Interstate '82 (1999) | Interesting that this is inspired by K.A.R.R. rather than KITT. Don't see that too often.
Interstate '82 (1999) | Ok, I'm done with updating this games photos. All thanks to DXWnd. Also, this game does have damageable vehicles, I don't know why they never updated that. Edit: Nevermind, they just did. Thanks. -- Last edit: 2022-07-26 03:56:52
Chevrolet Caprice Interstate '82 (1999) | With some elements of a Dodge.
Ford Country Squire Interstate '82 (1999) | mcthieve a écrit The new pics makes this look more like a 1971 Malibu
Plymouth Reliant Interstate '82 (1999) | What?! BULLCRAP!!! It's NO Plymoth Reliant, which is very different and ugly as hell! This IS 1981 Mercury Cougar! I use this car quite often and I'm 100% sure. The entire shape, headlights & grille are perfect fit. Only taillights and slightly trunk have been changed. Plymouth Custom Interstate '82 (1999) | It looks more like a Mercury.
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 'KARR' Interstate '82 (1999) | What's the deal between Pontiac and Potomac? Pontiacs are also named Potomac in Mafia 2.
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 'KARR' Interstate '82 (1999) | I guess that was the idea.
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 'KARR' Interstate '82 (1999) | Is it just me, or this Trans Am looks just like KARR from Knight Rider?
Ford Mustang Interstate '82 (1999) | I am sure this is a 1971-73 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Take a good look at its body shape, grille + headlights and shape of windows. Also notice that "MkI" in its name makes a clear suggestion to which Mustang model it is. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/11/1973_Ford_Mustang_Mach1_White.jpg/1280px-1973_Ford_Mustang_Mach1_White.jpg
Chevrolet Caprice Interstate '82 (1999) | 1974 Dodge Monaco with Chevy Caprice wheels.
Lamborghini Countach Interstate '82 (1999) | This car is basically a huge disappointment, it looks fast, and it's really expensive (which matters in a few multiplayer matches. If this car was as fast as the car it is imitating, that would be ok, but actually, this car is slooooooooooow, and with full engine tuning, and no weapons or extra weight, it tops out at a wopping 110 mph. To put this into perspective, I tested a fully armored Papkartton, which is based on the trabant, and it topped out at 114mph. So this so-called lambourghini, is somehow slower than a trabant. It is just slightly faster without tuning, for some reason (probably a glitch), but it will still be outrun by nearly everything else. -- Last edit: 2015-02-23 19:59:41
Austin Mini Interstate '82 (1999) | i get that alot actually.
Austin Mini Interstate '82 (1999) | He means someone could make a mod for the US version which would add these euro cars, btw is he 7 year old or he isn't from USA? His sentence was hard to understand

Interstate '82 (1999) | It appears to have the 1974-onward plastic grille: www.express.de/image/view/2011/3/12/8336798,5279381,highRes,01_ra_mo+citroen+2cv+120411.jpg.jpg
Ford Bronco Interstate '82 (1999) | It's not Bronco II, since headlights not rectangular, and turn signals not under them. Its old Bronco.
Ford Bronco Interstate '82 (1999) | lcpdcv a écrit Yep. An '84 in a game that clearly takes place in '82. Makes sense. I'm not taking any sides here, but you have to remember this game also has laser weapons, so I don't think the developers would be too concerned about a few anachronisms. Here's an extreme example: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=33622 -- Last edit: 2012-02-18 21:10:02

Austin Mini Interstate '82 (1999) | Nope, IIRC, after I've completed the TRIP mode I don't unlock these cars.
Austin Mini Interstate '82 (1999) | That is wierd, my copy was part of a 4 game multi-pack, and it seemed that completion of the trip unlocked the 3 different european cars. best way to check would be re-install it I guess. It was always fun having a demolition derby with me in the moth tanker and all the ai driving these.
Interstate '82 (1999) | martin07 a écrit jus identify the car I don't want to used words consider as curses, but could you mind your own bussiness, because I'm afraid I didn't understand what do you want. Car is identified and I add info about it's exclusiveness in comments to inform people that they may not find this car in their version.
Austin Mini Interstate '82 (1999) | Strange, because I just installed my copy and Lansell is available from the beginning in "Instant Action" I was checking the info and I found that these trio weren't available in US.
Porsche 911 Interstate '82 (1999) | Also a pun on Messerschmitt: "Perhaps the premiere German car manufacturer, Messernacht honed its skills while producing fighter aircraft during WW2." -- Last edit: 2012-01-10 18:30:03
