Norinco 121

World of Tanks (2011)
When China and USSR broke their good relationship, former country felt that they need a tank that would work as a countermeasure for soviet T-62. They decided to create new tank, designated as 121, but after realizing it would took too much time, they decided to move the resources to Type-69, known as WZ 121. All prototypes of 121 were destroyed in China nuclear tests.
Uralvagonzavod T-34-85

World of Tanks (2011)
Accordingly to some legends circling around, one German team managed to refit captured soviet T-34-85 with cannon taken directly from Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger. Due to these legends Wargaming decided to create such tank and place it in the game. From what it was said Tiger gun would never fit original soviet turret, so it's quite safe to assume such vehicle was never created.

If there was however any undeniable proof that such vehicle was indeed created, I am leaving this entry as unknown as of now.

Second of the prototypes of first post-war japanese tank made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
William Foster and Co Heavy Tank TOG II

World of Tanks (2011)
Great, my comment was deleted, again... without apparent reason...again.

Sometimes I really wonder why I hang around on this God-forsaken site, where power-hungry moderator/admin is deleting comments, at least half of members are barely literate in terms of cars, and people are replacing good pictures with awful ones.

If you won't want this to be completed, so be it, but at least tell me about it, instead of deleting comments like a child. Why do I even bother?
Zavod No. 37 SU-76i

World of Tanks (2011)
Soviet tank destroyed built by converting captured german Panzerkampfwagen III tanks.

I am not sure about the manufacturer should be. Initially factory was called KPZ, but it was evacuated in 1941 and combined with Zavod No.37 to create new factory, which was called Zavod No.38 "Kuibyshev". SU-76I was created in 1943 so long after the merging of two factories. Should it stay as No.83 or rather Kuibyshev?

unknown

World of Tanks (2011)
Proposal of building heavy self-propelled gun on the chassis of Conqueror tank. No prototype, nor even model was built and accordingly to Wargaming.Net site only blueprints were created.

If someone could confirm it or deny it it would be nice, because internet is rather silent about this vehicle.
UZTM SU-122

World of Tanks (2011)
Soviet self-propelled gun with 122mm M-30 howitzer, built on T-34 chassis. It's worth noting that vehicle has wrong gun mounting, using the one from SU-85 instead.
Made for Game Tank

World of Tanks (2011)
Idea of upgraded E-50, with transmission moved to the back of the vehicle. Tank is completely made by Wargaming.net.
Kirov Object 263

World of Tanks (2011)
Heavy tank destroyer prototype on IS-7 chassis. Only wooden model was built in the '50s, but project was halted due to fact that IS-7 wasn't produced.
Krupp Großtraktor

World of Tanks (2011)
Watch out for this tractor - it's gross.

Seriously, though, one of the first german armored vehicles made before II World War. Six prototypes were made and they were tested in USSR. Since they were proven unsatisfactory, they were either used as a training machines, used for monuments or scrapped for metal.
Made for Game Tank

World of Tanks (2011)
Absolutely fictional vehicle made by Wargaming.Net. Apparently nobody in the studio is fond of this vehicle and accordingly to sources close to the makers, it will be changed to something more real somewhere down the line.
Norinco 113

World of Tanks (2011)
Apparently it's successor to 112 tank and again there is no information about it whatsoever.
Motovilikha Object 268

World of Tanks (2011)

World of Tanks (2011)

World of Tanks (2011)
Any particular reason why manufacturer was changed from Malyshev?
ARE Canon Automoteur AMX 50 Foch

World of Tanks (2011)
Foch tank destroyer with 155mm cannon. When French engineers managed to install 120mm cannon in the AMX-50 tank and AMX 50 armed with the same gun became unnecessary, there was an idea to increase its firepower by installing higher caliber weapon. Idea was dropped when France changed their army vehicles into NATO standards.
Made for Game Tank

World of Tanks (2011)
Another fictional vehicle created by Wargaming.net. This time it's Conqueror turret installed on some strangely modelled chassis.
REO M35

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified (2013)
I compared them and I made a choice. Let's put the cargo bed aside, since that can be changed. We should focus on the cab instead. Whole front part of the cab is REO, with the difference of the sloppiness of the hood. Glasshouse is closer to US6, but it isn't as sloped.

Sure roof is solid, but it's actually quite clear it was made to be mix of the two. For me it's more of a REO than Studebaker.
Kirov KV-4

World of Tanks (2011)
Prototype of super heavy breakthrough tank created accordingly to N.L. Dukhov's design. Historically N. Shashmurin's project was selected to production, but project was dropped in favour of KV-5 tank.

REO M35

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified (2013)
No way in hell this is an US6. Everything from the ground up is REO and the only thing that was taken from US6 is similar shape of the glasshouse.

American Locomotive Company Assault Tank T14

World of Tanks (2011)
You know what's bullshit here? Your post.

Since World of Tanks is Free 2 Play game, technically every vehicle in the game is downloadable, as there is no other way to acquire the game, but that would be overkill.

And since igcd doesn't support any way to mark vehicles as premium/standard in F2P games like WoT I had to pick some way to differentiate them. I choose this way as it was the closest to what particular stars represent. And thus premium vehicles became downloadable as you have pay for both with real money and gift vehicles became unlockable, as you have to do something specific to earn one of these. Additionally way to acquire specific vehicle is also wrote down, whether it can be done via tech tree, in game shop or something more specific.

As you may know, there is one saying: "krytyk i eunuch z jednej są parafii, obaj wiedzą jak żaden nie potrafi," which can be translate into "critic and eunuch are quite similar, both know how, yet none cannot do (for these who don't read Polish language).

So, please, if you have better idea to mark vehicles in this and similar games, until igcd will be changed to reflect closer such situations, write it down. I am not saying my idea was the best idea, but it was only thing I came up with to show people how they can acquire specific vehicle. If your idea will be better, I will gladly use it and change every entry so far to use it.

Norinco Type 59-16

World of Tanks (2011)
Former Chinese light tank design originally intended as one of the "tributes to the 10th anniversary of the founding of the PRC". This tank however was too weak to fight against the western tanks at that time, it was eventually set aside by the military.
Bernardini M41 B

World of Tanks (2011)
Brazilian upgrade of american M41 Walker Bulldog light tank.
MAN Sd.Kfz. 179 Bergepanther

World of Tanks (2011)
Apparently one of the early Bergepanthers (tank towing vehicle) was fitted with Pz IV turret and served as a command tank of Schwere Heeres Panzerjager Abteilung 653.

The turret however, should be not traversable as it was depicted in the game.
BRC and W Cruiser Mk. VIII Cromwell

World of Tanks (2011)
Tank very similar to Freedom and Liberte - basically normal tank, in this case Cromwell, with some special camouflage.
UZTM SU-122-44

World of Tanks (2011)
Prototype of Soviet Self-propelled gun based on the T-44 chassis, which design was made by Uraltrashmash bureau. Since the vehicle was too heavy in comparison to SU-100-M2 designed by Uralmash, project was cancelled in 1945.
