Okay! Just did a lil' research, and this car seems to be a mixture of two models of Delahaye: 90-91 Delahaye 135 M and a 1948 Delahaye 175 S. But it's definitely NOT Buick Y-Job.
Hmm... This thing looks like a mutated, 4-door version of Land Rover SVX series 90. -- Last edit: 2019-12-17 20:00:34
Lombax wrote This is supposed to be a Parisian Police Car and they did use Fiats in the 70s One thing- the game takes place in Egypt, NOT Paris. Angel Of Darkness takes place in Paris.
Carini89 wrote This is a 1977 Mercury Cougar NOPE! Headlights, grille, middle windows and back windows are different, plus this car is overall bigger and more massive. This IS 70's Ford LTD Landau- www.imcdb.org/vehicle_1028388-Ford-LTD-1975.html and live.staticflickr.com/799/40152556735_98d55dcaa9_b.jpg . -- Last edit: 2019-12-10 01:26:18
Appears only in Dreamcast version.
Two versions of this van: Police and Chinatown delivery.
Green Runner wrote 4 years between your last comment and your new one… wow… 😅 Well, sorry for SUCH delay, but real life comes first... . Also I'm adding two nice photos of this beautiful car.
Okay folks! I've made some research, and I think I've figured out what this car is. It's a 1975 Lincoln Town Coupe- car-from-uk.com/ebay/carphotos/full/ebay141415294460197.jpg -with front and back made similar to 1970-1971 Chevy Monte Carlo (the grille is still messy ). -- Last edit: 2019-10-27 21:37:08
Hmm... I've looked around, and it looks very like Chevy Van. Only headlights are different. Interestingly this van appears both in The States, and in Kowloon-China.
Hmm... It kinda reminds me of Wartburg 353.
Absolutely beautiful car. It seems to have some elements of Auburn Speedster and/or Cord. -- Last edit: 2019-08-10 14:26:21
Uhhh... NO! 68 Buick Riviera.
OK. This one is a bit specific one. It's a 75 Buick Riviera Silver Arrow. Pretty rare variant of 70's Riviera, with a tad messed up -yet VERY recognizable- headlights. Take a look: i1.wp.com/www.curbsideclassic.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Silver-Arrow-IV-75-Copy.jpg and another one: assets.hemmings.com/blog/wp-content/uploads//2013/12/1972BuickRivieraSilverArrowIII_2000.jpg
Unknown?! Are You joking?! 2000 Ford Crown Victoria. No discussions!
Hmmm... This one looks very much like 69 Cadillac DeVille.
TheGreaser wrote Also, shouldn't this be MFG, since this is from 2005? No. This IS Hummer HX. True- Hummer HX was officially shown in 2008, HOWEVER- it's concepts and confirmed photos were revealed LONG before it's premiere, in fact couple of them have leaked around 2005, thus the creators had the perfect material.
What?! BULLCRAP!!! It's NO Plymoth Reliant, which is very different and ugly as hell! This IS 1981 Mercury Cougar! I use this car quite often and I'm 100% sure. The entire shape, headlights & grille are perfect fit. Only taillights and slightly trunk have been changed. Pic for camparison- carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/3/131/4421/25327210016_large.jpg
Hmm... I think it's one of late 50's - early 60's Bentleys. Probably S2 models. This one and Bluejay are my favourite cars in game! Simply love that custom grille and bumpers! Plus that machine gun. Interstate 76/82 anyone?
That's DARTZ Prombron Alladin.
Hmm... It looks like Mack.
Flippedoutkyrii wrote Such a goofy-looking Truck/SUV fusion, wish we could have gotten a better look at it. It's way too detailed to just appear in a single cutscene :c Unfortunately, this car appears only in the very beginning of the game -right after intro- during a scene where Frank Rixon (main hero) arrives at the A.X. Corp HQ. Afterwards the car does not show up again. I also think it's sad becouse it looks really good and it could have a bit more prominent role in game. Oh well... unnoticed/wasted potential.
Hmmm... It looks very much like Buick GNX.
At first I was thinking about Knight XV, but after closer inspection, it is most likely a DARTZ Prombron Black Shark. Badass machine! -- Last edit: 2018-06-16 16:51:01
This is clearly a Ford Mustang.
Nice car. It looks like CoCoon on a bucket of steroids + better armor, but weaker engine.
One of my favourites. Despite the name and looks, CoCoon is not too tough in armor, but it's quite fast and has very good handling.
Hmm... Kinda reminds of Auburn Speedster. One of my favourites, by the way.
This is DEFINITELY a 1933 Ford Club Coupe. BTW- one of my favourite cars in this game.
Well excuse me, but where the DAMN HELL do you see a Mercury Cougar, or ANY Mercury type!? It is 1974 Dodge Charger with customized front. FACE IT! Even this car's name is an OBVIOUS pun/spoof on Dodge Charger! -- Last edit: 2018-10-28 19:31:44
Sweet freaking heavens!!! I want this car SOOOOO MUCH!!! Its grille and lines are ABSOLUTELY beautiful! Btw- the tail lights are clearly from 58 Chevy Impala. To me this car seems to be a mixture of 58 Impala and 62 Imperial. Oh! A little pitty there is no hardtop variant. -- Last edit: 2017-03-31 22:06:49
Very nice car. I really like its grille and front bumper.
Hmmm... THIS could be Olds Cutlass, but also 70 Buick GSX comes to my mind . NAAHH... Olds Cutlass or Buick Skylark. GSX has different grille and bumper. -- Last edit: 2017-05-24 18:03:30
Oh for heavens sake ! Quit that Oldsmobile nonsense! It's clearly a 72 Buick Skylark. And that's FINAL!
Sweet cat. Good looking, quite tough and fast. One of my favourites.
74 Caddy Eldorado . I totally love this car. Great looks, great steering, decent speed... nuff said
Mmmmm... Pretty nice one- Ford Mustang Convertible with Jaguar XJS' front. Interesting concept in my opinion.
Nice one. Gran Torino from Starsky & Hutch. But the grille should not be so "Fish Mouth" style.
Darn! That's unfair! This is the best looking non-dlc car in the whole game, and it's unplayable. -- Last edit: 2017-02-26 04:51:09
That is DEFINATELY Chevy Blazer K-5, NOT Bronco.
Definitely a 67 Mustang!
It's NOT 67! It is a 1971 Mustang Match 1! Take a closer look at bodyshape, grille and windows - the difference is obvious. BTW-love the "Bull-hood" painting.
1967?! Are you crazy?! This is 1972 Mustang Match 1!!! Just look carefully at it's body shape, windows and grille-you'll notice a huge difference from 67.
This is a 74-77 Caddy Eldorado, only with 84 DeVille headlights. Here is a better picture. It clearly confirms, that it's 74-77. vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/vigilante8/images/b/bb/John_T._Vehicle-_Arcade.png/revision/latest?cb=20111117051634 You guys can also compare it to this: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_1958-Cadillac-Eldorado-1977.html -- Last edit: 2015-11-19 03:10:42
Absolutely sweet! Nothing can beat the classics!
Love this car! Paint it black and Dean Winchester will be very proud. -- Last edit: 2015-11-19 02:49:39
Is it just me, or this Trans Am looks just like KARR from Knight Rider?
I am sure this is a 1971-73 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Take a good look at its body shape, grille + headlights and shape of windows. Also notice that "MkI" in its name makes a clear suggestion to which Mustang model it is. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/11/1973_Ford_Mustang_Mach1_White.jpg/1280px-1973_Ford_Mustang_Mach1_White.jpg
Akaboci_94 wrote Travis's Truck from Silent Hill Origins. Hahahaha! That's exactly the same thing I thought. Poor Travis, lost his way... again. BTW this truck starts to become a common SH EasterEgg, becouse it appears in Homecomming (twice- in cut scene and in later part of game) and in Book of Memories as well. -- Last edit: 2015-05-20 19:36:27
That's a nice classic pickup truck. It would be nice if we could drive it. Murphy says it is a "old 52 V8 Flathead".
HO-LY-CRAP!!! I LOVE those cars. Their engines sound so lovely, plus the car's design... BRILIANT! A zombiefied car you might say . They are slowly and crefully patrolling the streets of Silent Hill and when they see you, they let out a creepy, distorted version of police sirens. And if you'll get too close to them, they will stop and let 4(!!!) Screamers out. To Me however, they should be a real enemies - instead of sending monsters on you, they should simply "growl" loudly with their engines and try to run Murphy down at full speed. And if they could not get somewhere behind him, their search lights would turn into flamethrowers (or harpoon guns), trying to burn (or shoot) running Murph. Thus, you would have to be REALLY carefull and lookout for them, especially that you can't destroy them. Yeah, I know- the game would become REALLY hard, but hey- the creepyness and the tension would totally skyrocketed, no? Sneaking and hiding tactics would be highly recommended. Symbolism: Murphy's embodied form of guilt and fear in one, searching and chasing him to get/kill/ruin him. They are there and indestructable, untill Murphy finds a WAY to free himself, at least partly, and thus get rid of those motorized stalkers as well. How do ya like my idea? BTW it would be cool to be able to drive one as well (fear and determination combined and turned into Murphy's advantage?). -- Last edit: 2015-05-20 19:13:19 |
