 Chevrolet Caprice Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | It's worth mentioning that all of these cars (G8, Caprice, SS, Lumina, Commodore, etc.) are based on the same platform and share a lot of visual cues. Given the timeline of this page, we can rule out any cars based on the VF Commodore or WN Caprice as they were not available at the time, so the Chevrolet SS is impossible. One of the easy identifiers between the Caprice and Commodore is the shape of the rear window pillar. The Fugitive matches the Commodore, ruling out the Caprice entirely. This leaves us with cars based on the VE Commodore. While they share many visual cues, there are 3 distinct designs - Holden Commodore/Chevrolet Lumina, HSV E-Series/Vauxhall VXR8 and Pontiac G8. The Fugitive takes something from each of these - the grille is similar to Holden/Chevrolet, the taillights are similar to HSV/Vauxhall, the front bumper is similar to the Pontiac G8 GXP and the rest is shared across the range. I find it unlikely that they would put a car in the game that's sold only in a specific part of the world, while said car is actually sold in the USA - badged as the Pontiac G8. | |
