Just out of curiosity: Why did you change your "language" mode? Dis is rilly streinch languedge u no?
The problem is: What makes a mod official? Until now i thought the mod needs to be developed by the game developers.
From Feather River Canyon route addon.
I did not make the rules. Sorry if it offended you. My explanations were basic and can't be applied to all games here. If a mod is official or not is difficult to say on Train Simulator. But to make one thing clear: Addons you can't get in the Steam Shop are definitely not official. Anything from 3DZug, JustTrains and RailTraction is obviously not official. Same goes for Freeware and user created content. So until another admin says something different i will add all other mods on the Steam Shop here. Like Twilight Sparkplug did. Admins, please tell me if its wrong. -- Last edit: 2017-03-29 15:36:14

Rinspeed or someone else should do the decision here, i wont delete this truck. Anything developed by the Developers of the original game (Dovetail Games) is an official addon or expansion. It adds something to the game which was planned from the beginning. In example in GTA V some of the cars from future expansions where already existing in the core data of the "Vanilla" game. Or if a new area is built into a RPG, the developers already left space to include it later. Modifications are usually built without a notification to the Developer. You can release it without problems because you use core data but altering things. Anything you personally add was designed by you. Most modifications use base data or convert things from other games if possible to modify the game experience but keeping the original game. My explanations were easy and can be applied to almost all games. For example: Spamming the Flight Simulator page on IGCD with any car that was ever modified into the game, you get a bottomless list of cars because developers still add cars to the core game as part of their mods. So how is the case with Train Simulator 20XX? Here you have to understand that Dovetail Games supports and advertises new mods by not just only putting them into their ingame shop but by also advertising them ingame and on their website. The "Sacramento Northern route" is a prime example of an unofficial mod with big developer support. Before it was released they kept writing articles on the website how awesome that new route is. It uses zero elements of the core game except for the HUD design and the floor textures. So how to handle this? I am not sure... let other admins deside. -- Last edit: 2017-03-26 18:54:56
Corris Railway is not an offical mod.
But that addon was not developed by Dovetail Games and thereby cannot be added. Atleast that was the rule when i asked last time. Its an officially supported mod. But not made by Dovetail Games. If this is okay, i have tons of other cars for you. -- Last edit: 2017-03-26 18:06:26
@Twilight Sparkplug: Which route is this? Looks like Riviera 50s to me.
I was thinking the same. Anyone else with an idea? Otherwise i will change it to Jeep Commander.
Hmm, so "Made for Game" maybe? There is too much influence from many models and it was just designed to be some late 60s/early 70s muscle car.
The windows dont fit, but the rest is okay. So i changed it.
They used the existing Jeep Commander model and modified it: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=69885 Part of the official "Feather River Canyon route addon". -- Last edit: 2017-03-25 13:21:07

I know. Thats why i said i mean the concept. When i did research yesterday it said somewhere the Fenomenon Stratus has a Ferrari F430 engine. Informations could be wrong of course.
Its an exact copy of the Batmobile from "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice". www.imcdb.org/vehicle_807719-Made-for-Movie-Batmobile.html Here we have again the question: Isn't that actually Made for Movie and not Made for Game? We had this discussion before but i forgot what our decision was. This Batmobile was actually BUILT (Like Batmobile 1 and Tumbler are too). -- Last edit: 2016-10-16 00:19:00
Indeed its called 2005 Fenomenon Stratus. Based on a Ferrari F430.
Aya wrote Same The Saints Row apparence the Car. A Samuel L. Jackson answer to your post would be cool but entering it here would be rude. So i leave it with the link to youtube. No offense intended: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbvYeLxMKN8
I think the user who entered it as Lancia unknown was indeed thinking about the Lancia Stratos Concept. And i really mean the Concept, not the production version: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/b2/0a/7e/b20a7e7c054e5e3fd289536a69df477b.jpg
Uploaded that again as indeed the front view was from a different car. I noticed that after adding it. But now i cant find my rear picture... Anyway i tried to install and run the game again but it keeps on crashing. Cant get it running.
Will add some missing pictures here now. I dont have better pictures because my computer keeps on crashing at this game.
AutoTracker wrote 2005 VW Passat: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=92789 As discussed on the other page: Nope!
Available with the 2017 patch.
Burn Rubber wrote IDK how true this is, but according to the NFS Wiki it isn't drivable without mods. Say what?! That quote you have given does not say its only driveable with mods! Its driveable without mods. Like your quote says, you can switch cars if you are the police man. Its the "B" button i think. You can even find this in the official manual. My High Stakes game is not modded and i can switch cars. Its not a mod, its a function.
And the terrible thing is we need to remove the whole page now. Otherwise i would overwrite your name if i put the main picture.
@Megatrong: Did you base this on a Dennis Garbage Truck?
The car looked pretty wide and flat on the main pictures. Your picture looks more like the E36. Maybe the resolution is not correct on the main picture. So we have a winner: E36.
As you can see the rear side window trim is the same on Alfa Romeo 164. Your rear window theory does not say something. Additionally the Alfa 166 head lights come close aswell. So Alfa against Oldsmobile. It has Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme head lights and front bumper. The very flat front part of the car looks american. From A pillar on its european. I want to end this discussion now. Does anyone support the E36 theory except Automotive Gaming? -- Last edit: 2016-09-01 14:51:04
Automotive Gaming wrote It's listed correctly. It is an E36 sedan turned into a coupe (shaved doors) i9.photobucket.com/albums/a91/S18adeli/DSC_0260.jpg I know how an E36 looks because i had one! And i still say: No! Only because it has the Hofmeister kink it doesnt automatically make it a BMW. Think outside the box. Some Oldsmobile or Made for Game i say. Okay its not a 88 because its a Coupé. Overall shape and Headlights are of an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme: auto-database.com/image/oldsmobile-cutlass-supreme-1992-pictures-136664.jpg -- Last edit: 2016-08-31 14:30:04
Never ever a Ford Transit. Something american. Express?
Sorry to disappoint all european fans, but this is more likely an Oldsmobile 88 (or Regency): images46.fotki.com/v677/photos/9/61479/12500674/_1Skoal1990refa1-vi.jpg

As this is in America, i would tend to Freightliner Argosy.
We had the same discussion here: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=20263 I would also say F-150, but lets wait for other opinions.
Just missing one vertical line on the grille, so i agree with that.

Ocelot and Lynx are both cats - like the Jaguar. Yeah, yeah, yeah... we cannot trust Manufacturer name. I know that! Front is the current Aston Martin Vanquish judging by the lower air intake. |
