Maybe it hasn't been listed yet? Or is it not in the game? Strange, since it is in GT5: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=40033
Maybe they're pop-ups? And is it me or does this look like the Esperanto from GTA Vice City?
Razor440 wrote I think the Castrol Supra from this game is a better nod to Toyota Racing Development or TOM'S. Tom's and TRD aren't really the same though. Tom's is like an unofficial tuner for Toyotas, while TRD is the official tuner. Kinda like how Mine's is the unofficial tuner for Skylines and Nismo is.
Looks like a pretty futuristic Gallardo... but it appears to be the 2013 model, the final Gallardo before being replaced by the Huracan.
I think TRD is a nod to Toyota Racing Development, also known as TRD. Why would they do it to a Izuzu though?
So shouldn't this be a 320i then? Was there even an E36 320i? (Not really a big expert on BMW model names, they change them all the time) EDIT: There was, but only sold in Europe, Indonesia, and Canada. Model years are 1991-1998 in Europe, and 1993-1995 in Indonesia and Canada. Where is this game set? That will determine the model year. -- Last edit: 2016-04-13 21:54:37
2014, actually. The first model year for the Versa Note in the US was 2014, while the European version simply known as the Note's first model year was 2013. Since the game appears to place in the US, then it's a 2014.
2014 was the first model year for the Rogue in the US as well as the global X-Trail.
That's not a 2016. The 2016 Altima would be the facelifted model. This is a 2013-2015 pre-facelift model.
Front end kinda looks Volkswagen-ish to me...
I don't know what crack everybody is on tonight, but this car is CLEARLY 6 Series GC: www.autoblog.com/2012/05/08/2013-bmw-6-series-gran-coupe-first-drive-review/ And here's the Accord: www.caranddriver.com/photo-gallery/2008-honda-accord-ex-sedan The end.
So the first-gen "new" Mini Cooper was revealed in 2000? I always thought it was 2001. EDIT: Lemme guess, 2000 Paris Auto Show? EDIT Yep, 2000 Paris Auto Show. Albeit, the picture with the article is the 2007-2013 second-gen R56 Cooper, it was still at Paris in 2000! www.caranddriver.com/news/mini-cooper-auto-shows -- Last edit: 2016-04-13 03:24:57
I'm not sure if this an Accord Coupe. The styling is pretty much the same but the body's makin' me iffy...
Front end sorta looks like a fusion between a 2016+ Hyundai Tuscon and 2016+ Chevrolet Equinox.
Tailights would indicate 2010-2011 facelift. Not sure where the front end is from though.
No it's clearly a BMW. Look at the side profile. Even the headlights are the same. The only differences are a Chevy-like grille and Audi A7 tailights.
Well look at the Stratum. igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=59334 The Nissan Skyline was never officially sold as a wagon but since the rest did resemble a Skyline R32, that's we ended up listing it as.
Was this the 1999-2005 generation? If so, they could have just used the JDM name, MR-S.
PikesPeak wrote The creator of this car says this is late 90's or early 2000's American Sedan so it could be Cadillac Catera or similar sedan Why did they list it as "90sSedanPatario" in the game files then?
Who listed this as Nissan R390 GT1? This looks nothing like one igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=40304 And finally, I found the Porsche I was talking about, the 926C igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=87389
Longer version of this igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=38623 but I just don't see it being an A-Class. Maybe MFG like the longer versions of the Silvia and A4?
2003? The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI was only offered in 1999-2000 before being replaced by the Evo VII in 2001. And it is either a GSR or an RS because the MR trim level was not introduced until the Evo VIII. EDIT: GSR Tommi Makinen Edition because of the front bumper. -- Last edit: 2016-04-08 21:02:39
Yeah, really strange considering the name's not even in the window of this model's earliest appearance, Gran Turismo 3. igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=1529 But back then, I think Polyphony were trying to save money by not using names of rally car drivers on rally cars in the game. Not that they did that for all rally cars, as on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Rally Car, the Marlboro text on the real car is replaced with 'TOMMI' on the in game car. igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=7584 I think they had to use Tommi Makinen's name to put the Tommi Makinen Edition Lancer Evolution VI in the game.
Well isn't the '96 JGTC scheme seen in the first two Gran Turismos?
Looks kinda like the 2001 model... but this game is from 1997. igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=202 -- Last edit: 2016-04-07 00:23:43
Burn Rubber wrote Second generation Regal I mean. (Which is practically a GNX) I still don't think this is a 79 Magnum at all... When I look up Buick Regal on Google, I get the current generation model. (2011+)
This is the way you tribute someone who's been dead for 2 years? The best PW tribute is the one at the end of Furious 7...
It looks like a more NASCARed version of the one that actually ran in NASCAR...
Then Nintendo should nail them for copyright!
Oh, there's only Japanese text on the right side. I just looked at the IMCDB page and it only showed the right side, so I assumed it was on both sides. And I obviously didn't look at the rear pic for this....
And the Japanese text on the sides are missing...
Only available on Android I guess?
Yeah that is what I meant. Wrong manufacturer, as the Barchetta is Fiat.
I used think of this as the much cheaper Chevy Barchetta or however that's spelled. The design seems similar, but it's a bit boxier. A reason why I thought Chevy Barchetta was because I see this appear mostly in Bohan, a.k.a. the Bronx, a more rundown area of the game where you wouldn't expect to see luxury cars.
For whatever reason when I was younger I thought of this as a Cadillac Catera, also known to Europeans as the Opel / Vauxhall Omega. But the Catera is more rounded than this it seems.
I believe the badging on the back simply says "V-Spec", no II in there. (Just played the game & drove this car) Also, aren't these shots from the old game? The garage looks darker in the older versions. -- Last edit: 2016-04-03 20:03:52
Nice GTA name... | ||
With 2015+ Audi TT taillights.
Yeah 1999's WAY off. In fact they were on the R34 at that time. This I believe is a 1993 VSpec, like the one in '15 and No Limits.
Racedriver43 wrote Is the name changed to Python in CT5, or is this just a name mistake? I wonder if this is because of a licensing issue?
I believe this is an IS 350 as well.
Looks like a Pontiac Sunfire with the rear of 2004-2006 GTO.
I think this is a normal IS.
That C-Class Estate is actually a GLK.
It's pretty well-known that in Version 1.0, the first release just before Xmas '99, you could only reach like 98.2%, if I remember correctly. The other 1.8% were drag racing events that were cut.
Yep, lazy GT devs strike again. Remember in GT2, when they misspelled almost everything and didn't bother to spell check it? Or when they removed drag racing and forgot to remove it's completion towards 100%?
I was talking about the textures of the car itself. They were pretty good back in 2004 / 2005, but now they're crap compared to the Premium cars.
Textures are quite low quality. Of course this is a Standard car, which is code name for "car taken from GT3 or GT4"
JDMracerocket96 wrote inspired by the fast and furious eclipse? www.imcdb.org/vehicle_8540-Mitsubishi-Eclipse-1995.html This came out in 2000, and I think they were still filming it at the time.
This can not be a 2005 RL. This game came out in 2000.... |
