Euro Truck Simulator 2 (2012)	TheGreaser 2022-04-01 00:34	Important announcement for those waiting on Heart of Russia: If you're wondering why, as of now, we don't have any new info on the planned Heart of Russia DLC, or any other articles on Steam or their blogs, well, we've got some very bad news. I know this is late, but the current situation (read: invasion of Ukraine) with the very country SCS is making for the map expansion is beyond abysmal. As it stands, SCS, among many other developers, are not happy with this situation. As such, all development of Heart of Russia has been either suspended or cancelled indefinitely until the issue has been resolved. SCS has also released the Ukrainian paintjobs pack in response to the issue at hand. All this has happened while Heart of Russia seemed close to being released, as they recently made a WIP gameplay video a few weeks prior to the invasion. As far as ATS progress is going, it's going swimmingly as the planned Texas, Montana DLCs will be landing within the year, as with the Phase 2 of the California Rebuild. TL;DR: Heart of Russia's release is very doubtful with the situation going on.

But as it stands this bus only appears in the country of origin, which is Russia. Unfortunately, it might be a little bit longer due to the current situation with the country in question. This is still happening as it is and SCS being located in Czech Republic only makes matters worse, as the country is located very close to Ukraine. Several days after the invasion, the developer made a statement opposing the war, which you can find on both ATS and ETS 2, and they mentioned having a flag livery of Ukraine for ETS 2. Don't expect the Heart of Russia DLC to be released in the foreseeable future, because as of late May, it has been suspended indefinitely. Much like all the other Russian cars this will not likely spawn all across the ETS2 map unlike the Leon ST from the Iberia DLC. The 4x2 chassis is the only chassis available at launch. I made this separate entry for the XG+ because DAF wants us that the cab configs available for the New-Generation DAF models were separate models of their own and I just don't know why, again, we just roll with it anyway.

Now, we can drive this in-game starting from 1.40.5.0, unlike the Renault T Evolution, its in-game release format is reversely back to the same way as what to the release of the Western Star 49X for American Truck Simulator, where the IRL truck was unveiled first before the next day, it was added to the game. So far, only XG and XG+ is available for now, the XF may come later, of course, only the 4x2 chassis is available at launch.

Seeing SCS reusing the Forest River Solera RV from ATS to ETS 2 makes me think on what Turn10 did when they reused the AI traffic cars since Forza Horizon 2 (reusing the same '05 Subaru Legacy B4 over and over) without researching the popularity of the model nor making changes based on the market/regulations in each country it was sold. Should have been remaked instead while slapping a Mercedes grille for ETS 2 (or both ETS 2 and ATS if acceptable) Of course, not the first time that SCS reuse something like this, they previously brought the Mercedes-Benz C-Class S204 and the Ford S-Max to American Truck Simulator, even thought both of those vehicles are not sold in the U.S. What they are thinking on reusing this? Another copyright avoidances?
