As discovered from a beta build from September 2001, the Sport Coupe had a completely different design with a sort of generic coupe design. This design showed up in a few trailers for the game before going back to the MR2 look but altered as seen in the final release.

Looks like a Fiat Coupe

Doesn't look like an Evolution VII but a modified 2000-2003 Lancer instead looking at more squared-off front-end (headlights etc.) and being FWD in-game.

Its a Lancer Evo with Subaru front end mixed to it to avoid copyright. The FWD mistake still continued on Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition and Los Angeles. Looks like the developers doesn't know how to create a AWD vehicle for the game.

I think you can report this bug for the emulator Github to see if the developers can fix. Which blog is this?

All the roms of that game that I looked for have an error in the textures that for a second covers the entire screen, but it is playable, the problem is in that mission where a bug occurs that breaks the entire game. When I turn the first corner, the game freezes for a few seconds and then all the textures become invisible and the screen turns orange, it doesn't matter if I set the previous save state, the game permanently stays in that color.

Did you checked if this bug are related on PPSSPP github? You updated the emulator to the last version? Which is the settings you are playing the game?
