Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | Manso2000 wrote This game will flop Because Rockstar extended the release date? Can't be a flop, its the only current gen game where people are very hyped.

Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | I know lots of people like the real life cars, after all everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Hopefully GTA6 has good driving physics, a mix between 4 and 5 should please most people.
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | stryder237 wrote I don't care that they don't look like real cars, it's part of the fun to see what cars the game has and what they look like. That is your fun. I don´t like cars that are mixes of several parts of cars or very "unique" designs". I prefer when they are almost exact replicas of the real cars stryder237 wrote Exactly. Many of the new R* designs are just straight up copies of real cars, they match the tone and presentation of the rest of the game world. In that, we can agree. As for the guy who says Driver San Francisco is his least favourite Driver because of real cars: lmao, so even worse than Driv3r because the real cars and not because, for example, the weird plot? well, ok, I´m not to judge the tastes and decisions of other to like or dislike games for any kind of reason.
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | WolfLover94 wrote Which is why Driver San Francisco is my least favorite Driver game and this comment sums it up greatly. to elaborate, I wasn't particularly fond of the real life vehicles in DSF, they felt out of place in a series that used fictional cars in the past. Exactly. Many of the new R* designs are just straight up copies of real cars, they match the tone and presentation of the rest of the game world. I don't care that they don't look like real cars, it's part of the fun to see what cars the game has and what they look like. Compare the modern Vigero R* added and the mod made beforehand, the mod is more interesting, it takes styling cues from the old car, the R* version is just a modern Camaro with the fake badges slapped on.
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | andarara wrote Don´t compare Driver saga with GTA. Pretty different in their own. But as I said, I prefer the cars being as close as the real life counterparts. Driv3r and Parallel Lines was the only games that are similar to GTA.

Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | stryder237 wrote I mean making an exact replica of a real life car with fake badges. I personally prefer the more unique designs, like the Zion, Landstalker, Stratum, etc. I think the de-badge designs make the game look cheap, like a pazy mobile game, and they don't fit in with the older, more unique cars, and the general satirical tone of GTA. I completely disagree. I prefer in fact if they were the real life cars properly if it wasn´t for the royalties and lawsuits if that happened. Also, even in the old GTAs the cars were normally close to the real life cars and it´s something I always liked from GTA

That doesn't make any sense man... How real debadge cars makes the game feel like a "pazy mobile game" ? Making real life counterpants debadge cars makes the game feel more real, i feel like i'm driving an real car instead of a generic made from scratch type of car with weird proportions like that first Gauntlet from GTA 5, bizarre cars with outdated looks, sorry bro but me and almost everyone else prefer the real life cars debadged in the game. I'm sure they will remake the cars you mentioned but much closer to their real life versions -- Last edit: 2023-12-19 02:38:39
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | andarara wrote Not sure what you mean by lazy de-badges but honestly I prefer the cars being as close as the real life counterpart as possible. Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | stryder237 wrote I'm excited for this - the trailer was excellent. Lots of returning cars from GTA:O. A lot of which are lazy de-badges and otherwise quickly made cars that don't fit into existing lore and setting. Hopefully enough new cars filter them out. Also, there were loads of supercars. Too many to be realistic. it is also clear from the Crown Vics R* intends to remake older models - I think this is ultimately a good thing. Many IV & V models have terrible proportions - e.g Regina, Picador. Some GTA:O cars - like the Landstalker XL - despite being recent additions - have been reworked. The Hellion has lost it's lifted suspension too. I wonder how in-depth car customisation will be - cleary a focus in the trailer. Maybe we will get a livery editor, maybe the ability to lift trucks? I just hope the driving is better than V. Not sure what you mean by lazy de-badges but honestly I prefer the cars being as close as the real life counterpart as possible. Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | See ya in 2025
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | It seems like every indefinable vehicle from the first trailer has been listed.
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | PSA: Do not submit surnames for these vehicle entries, even for the ones that are returning from previous games. We don't add the surnames until the game itself has released.
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | Wow, I can't believe the trailer is finally out. It feels unreal after so many years of waiting. -- Last edit: 2023-12-05 22:58:46

Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | Kenji Nomura wrote I dunno about you guys, but I'm pretty excited for this game. I've been a GTA fan since 1997 and I've been wanting an HD Vice City for years. Interesting, Most GTA fans of current times don't like the old games at all, see them as something from a bygone time, Figured I was the only one.

Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | Just wondering, why are all the cars (and the boats and planes) listed as unplayable? -- Last edit: 2023-12-05 07:23:48
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | Could the car seen on the thumbnail of the trailer where the 2 protagonists are sitting on be added?
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | The vehicles are still generic debadges like in GTAO
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | Leandro wrote I thought GTA VI would be released in 2024... It would if they crunched the devs but thankfully they already made the changes. Makes me think that the only reason why GTA V dropped in 2013 and not 2014 was because of crunch, same goes for RDR2 and probably any previous title. As for the vehicles, it makes me so happy to not have spotted a single flying bike or anything of the sort, the vehicles that got me hyped the most are the Chrysler 300 (probably a new variant of the PMP 600 from GTA IV which should have returned in GTA Online imo), the lowriders (finally a HD GTA with lowriders available from launch, hope the Voodoo comes back as well) and the Declasse Tulip, lifted straight out of GTA Online (one of my faves) Really hope they get a good balance between new vehicles, GTA Online vehicles, base GTA V vehicles and GTA IV vehicles.

Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | Can't wait to see how Rockstar ruins this game with microtransactions, endless bugs they don't care about unless it effects their wallets, and all the other bs that let them coast by on nothing but new cars, clothes, and guns shoved into a PS3/Xbox 360 game for over a decade.
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | it still seems unreal to me
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | For real this time, huh? Wonder how many cars will be available at launch compared to 5!
Grand Theft Auto VI (2025) | 2025...whoa. Trailer definitely looks promising, just the thought of finally leaving Los Santos after 12 years feels refresing.
