I know, but the police version of the Cavale is called the Cruiser, and yet this version of the Sonarus LX doesn't get a specific name...strange.
Closest thing I can think of is a Citroen DS 21, and I'm not even sure if that's good enough of a match.
Chevrolet CUCV M1009 (military variant of the K5 Blazer)
I'd say a K5 Blazer, since the green version looks like a CUCV M1009 (military version of the K5).
Could be a Chevrolet Caprice, too. Kinda hard to tell from this model, since it's not that high of quality.
Nope, Toyota Previa/Estima.
Officially, the game refers to this as the Brubeck Engines Cruiser. No police in the name.
Interestingly, even though this is a specific variant, the game still refers to this simply as a Global Motors Sonarus LX. -- Last edit: 2016-12-25 17:41:30
The only thing I can think of when I see it is the GEM Peapod, which was never put into production.
Here's what I see: - Saturn ION front end - First generation Dodge/Plymouth Neon coupe side windows - Ford Falcon [BF] rear with slightly modified tail lights
Same model from 3D Parking Simulator and Crash Race.
Another use of a ripped Thorogood model from the Saints Row series, just with altered textures?
Somewhat irrelevant, because there was also the GTS-4 model (literally an AWD variant of the GTS-t).
And, given the class of car and it's performance stats, it's pretty reasonably priced compared to many other similar and lesser cars in the game, with a selling price of $880,000. Still, it's certainly more than what real ones have sold at auction for (usually anywhere between $300-500k), and the car's original selling price of £470,000 ($586,912.50 at today's exchange rates, which also tells how much the XJ220 has depreciated in reality).
Commer BF | ||
It's not a reference, it's the truck's sponsor. They were literally sponsored by Suzuki's powersports division (which, unlike their passenger car division, is still active in the US market) and were called Team Suzuki.
Just a couple little things... 1: It's not an SRT8, as those models, ever since the 2012 facelift, have had a unique bumper and grille. 2. From the 2012 facelift forward, police versions of the Charger are referred to as Charger Pursuit, not a Police Package. Hope this helps. ![]()
I was. I mean, trademarking for the IH brand can be found in the game's credits. I just wasn't expecting it to be an expansion barn find, but rather a normal DLC vehicle.
I love how unrealistic the towing and payload capacity stats are on this thing. The description says it's capable of towing 26,000 pounds and a payload capacity of over 3 tons (or 6,000 pounds). That's like...surpassing half-ton territory, and going straight into heavy duty truck territory.
*Danger Zone playing in the background*
It's the city bus from Burnout Paradise, so it's an AM General Metropolitan.
Well, with the new generation model, it's not called FCX Clarity anymore, just Clarity. But, yes, it kind of will become a successor to the Insight, once the plug-in-hybrid and full electric variants come out next year. Other than the fact that there's a hydrogen fuel cell version instead of a regular electric version, one could also say it's a competitor to Hyundai's new Ioniq lineup. I think Toyota would be likely to merge the Mirai into the Prius family than to get rid of the Prius family altogether, given how successful the nameplate has been (even though they won't use it in Japan on the Prius C, instead of calling it Aqua).
How on Earth can the Prius C be a Leaf wannabe, when it's not even fully electric like the Leaf? That makes no sense, whatsoever. The Prius C was introduced with the intention of giving buyers a smaller, even more efficient, and more affordable entry to the Prius family. It's literally just a Yaris sized Prius, compared to the more Corolla sized Prius itself. Also, I agree that the Mirai is even worse looking than the new Prius. I'd MUCH rather take a Honda Clarity. Those things are stunning.
Yep. A very interesting combination, and one that I personally like a lot.
I honestly don't think any of the first three generations of Prius were exactly...ugly. Sure, they weren't anything like a Jaguar E-Type, Mercedes-Benz 300SL, '63 Sting Ray Split-Window, or Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R Hakosuka, but honestly...there's people who claim the original Chevrolet Volt concept looks better than the production first generation model, and I honestly think the concept was uglier than it and all three generations of Prii leading up to the current one...which is the truly hideous one. Thankfully the upcoming plug-in Prime model improves over many of the negatives of the fourth generation Prius' design.
True, but we've seen in previous game sequels where variants of certain cars have disappeared. Look at Roman's Taxi (GTA IV), the civilian Esperanto (also IV, both of them replaced by an unplayable Police Roadcruiser), the Schyster Caddy (yet again IV), the Interest (Saints Row), the Five-O (disappeared after SR2), the original Vapid Police Cruiser (IV again, replaced by a more modern version, and the civilian Stanier), FBI Rancher (disappeared after the end of the 3D era of GTA, eventually replaced by the unplayable North Yankton police variant of the Rancher XL and the FBI variant of the Grainger, both in GTA V), etc.
Just out of curiosity, how many taxis are there in this game? Are the Crosscountry and Cavale taxis still there, or is it just down to this and the Vessel?
Anyone else notice that the front end is from a 1967 Impala?
Mesh grille = Denali trim
Origin: US, not Sweden. The 9-7X was built in Moraine, Ohio along with it's GMT360 relatives, the Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender, Oldsmobile Bravada, and Buick Rainier.
Apparently this car is a 1998, according to the team's website.
Another really fast one, the real car runs the 1/4 in an incredible 8.47 seconds.
Awesome fact: the real Hyper Lemon S14 is capable of running the 1/4 mile in under 9 seconds. Also, there are various Hyper Lemon cars from JUN, including drift and time attack cars. Not only Silvias, but Skylines and Imprezas, too.
While it definitely has good bits of Ferrari, I can't help but see a lot of the new Ford GT in this as well. - The taillights are a near perfect match for the GT - Exhaust mounted higher up, between the taillights - The openings on the 'hood' are practically the same, just shrunken down and moved closer to the windscreen - The front bumper is a near direct copy of the GT
Looking at photos of the real Bulldozer, it seems it's always been Chevrolet based.
Monster Patrol, one of my favorites from the 90's. Another C/K that eventually became a Silverado once that nameplate replaced the C/K series, but also spent some time as a Dodge Ram. There's even an Australian Monster Patrol that's been running since 2010.
Ah, another member of the Bigfoot family.
Silverado was only a trim level in 1996, so it's probably a C/K. www.cartownforums.com/forums/downloads/crusher8_uPX.jpg Though, once the C/K was replaced by the Silverado, Carolina Crusher also became a Silverado. vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/monstertruck/images/b/bd/2960420853_52ed83d761_1_1.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150706190756
Not a Probe, but rather a Shelby version of the 1987+ G-Body Dodge Daytona.
Turns out, Snake Bites of the 90's are Ford F-150 based, while modern ones are F-Series Super Duty based.
Nah, not Focus headlights, rather first generation Chevrolet Volt headlights.
Nah, the body is DEFINITELY that of the 1971-74 B-Body Dodge Charger, with it's fuselage styling. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Charger_(B-body)#Third_generation I agree with the front end, the headlights are certainly '77 Firebird, while the tail lights look like reversed Ford Maverick ones (with the backup lights on the outside, as opposed to the inside, as on the Maverick).
Kinda looks like what the result would be if Mazda designed a pickup truck concept for the US that's NOT based on the BT-50, especially in the grille and headlights.
Should be Class: Cars, Hatchback.
I'm seeing a good bit of Range Rover in this as well.
By technicality, Freightliner MT45 refers to the chassis underneath, the body is still Utilimaster (as there are other bodies available for the MT45 chassis, including one from Morgan Olson with a Freightliner grille and Dodge Ram headlights. I checked Utilimaster's website, and they don't seem to have a specific name for the body on the MT45 chassis, so perhaps it could be listed as the following: Make: Freightliner Model: MT45 Additional Info: body by Utilimaster
Looks similar to an old Isuzu Bonnet Bus to me.
Honestly, I don't really see much Samurai here, rather a big mix of Jeep Wrangler, Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, and a hint of Land Rover Defender in the front end.
Unlike Predator's X-18, the Comet R seems a little more traditional for what it is, utilizing a 1352cc Kawasaki 4 stroke with 200hp from a ZZR1400.
Ah, Predator's X-18 Intimidator. 170hp EcoTec engine and a CVT (though 4, 5, or 6 speed manual transmissions are also available), with the clutch sourced from Arctic Cat. The engine specs suggest it may be utilizing an LE5 2.4 with a slight torque downgrade. |
