Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Aginnon photo_librarymode_comment 2022-10-25 17:16 | The police helicopters are missing. In the main PS2 version, it's an MD Helicopters MD-500, while elsewhere (GameCube version and derivatives), it's a Bell 206 JetRanger. |
Aginnon photo_librarymode_comment 2022-10-02 02:08 | Not only is this car featured in the famous intro, but this car also appears in the Black Box Games version's "reward" movie (originally an opening movie for the March 2002 build), where it's driven by an unknown racer. -- Last edit: 2024-06-21 11:11:22
Aginnon photo_librarymode_comment 2022-10-01 23:48 | On both versions of HP2, this car looks weird. On the main PS2 version, it has a chromed front grille and a missing bullbar, whilst on the other versions, the front grille isn't chromed, and it has a bullbar fitted. The side profile is also weird, and the rear is modeled after a 2000+ model. So, it's a weird mishmash of different P71 Crown Victorias.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Auto-Friki photo_librarymode_comment 2021-08-18 13:44 | Although in the PS2 version there is a single mission that can show the inside of a Ferrari, in the versions for Xbox, Windows and Gamecube, if you put the bumper camera, oddly enough, they recreate the needles as if outside the interior of the vehicle in real life. Of course, there is a catch: The speedometer numbers depend on the unit of measurement you have set. For example, with the Porsche 911 with the speedometer measured in Km / h, the speedometer measures it from 100 to 100. However, if I put it to MPH, the numbers go from 40 to 40. Auto-Friki photo_librarymode_comment 2021-05-01 00:31 | If I look closely at 50% zoom, the silhouette of this vehicle reminds me of a Kia Sportage from 2004 ... But with the downside that it is 3 doors, since the real Sportage from 2004 is 5 doors.
Auto-Friki photo_librarymode_comment 2021-05-01 00:24 | The painting of the front in yellow, literally, and oddly enough, in the striped version, the stripes ... ARE WHITE! When in fact, the striped version of the yellow color, the stripes are in black to stand out more.
Auto-Friki photo_librarymode_comment 2021-05-01 00:21 | Together with the LM version, these two cars DO NOT HAVE REVERSE LIGHTS IN THEIR OWN TEXTURES! What does this mean? That in real life it did have reverse lights ... But only one reverse light, not two as happens in the game. And also, the reverse light is at the bottom of the position lights, not inside the position lights themselves.

Auto-Friki photo_librarymode_comment 2021-04-13 10:08 | This car has a bug when it was designed. The driver in the image above is driving it with the steering wheel on the left, when in reality, this car would have to have it on the right, since the reversing light and the rear fog lamp do correspond, but the steering wheel, no. To give you an idea, cars that have the steering wheel on the left must have the reversing light in the right rear part and the fog light, in the left rear part. If it is a car coming from a country that circulates on the left, the reversing light must be on the left rear side and the rear fog lamp on the right rear side. If no one noticed this failure, let me know, since I don't know if I'm the only one who didn't notice that.
