This event requires a Daihatsu Copen model (hence the name Copen Race) & an A License.

The event itself consists of 5 laps around Suzuka Circuit East, 3 laps around Special Stage Route 5, 3 laps around Laguna Seca, 4 laps around Opera Paris, & 5 laps around the '05 variant of the Fuji Speedway. Oh, & you'll need to have collected the A licence as well.

2016-05-18 19:34 | Automotive Gaming a écrit What you say doesn't make sense. This is a fictional racing car like other fictional racing cars in Gran Turismo 4, this one for example: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=658 What Mitsubishi did or didn't regarding rally or track racing doesn't matter, and what you say is untrue especially if you are referring to the FTO, in fact it raced in JGTC and a real JGTC FTO is in Gran Turismo 2. cdn.snsimg.carview.co.jp/minkara/photo/000/002/879/620/2879620/p1.jpg www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=3633 That "JGTC FTO" you're referring to that appeared on GT2 was the '99 Taeivon Trampio, a car that was driven in real life by Akihiko Nakaya (the car's number was #61; he, along w/ Ralph Firman, achieved 6th place in the GT300 ranking of the '99 JGTC season). Another FTO race car appeared on 2 under the LM Edition moniker.
GroupB photo_librarymode_comment 2016-05-18 18:19 | TWormely a écrit For some weird reason, one of this car sponsors is Omega Boost, another PD-developed game for the orig. PlayStation. That's because the majority of the Mitsubishi racing cars in the Gran Turismo series are fictional. Mitsubishi basically stuck to rally & raid rather than circuit racing.

GroupB photo_librarymode_comment 2016-05-16 22:29 | ItsaUserName a écrit A special hidden car only available through Gameshark or Action Replay on the PAL version. Legend has it that Esso got pissed off with Polyphony not paying them to use a car with their sponsor on it, and cancelled future sponsoring on any new video game, which is why there is now "Exxon" instead of Esso. Lol the Esso/Exxon thing is way older and bigger than video games. If you check into the company's history of mergers and acquisitions, a legal agreement prevents the Esso name from being used in the USA.

2016-05-16 19:27 | There are 7 NSX race cars on GT4 (ARTA, Mobil 1, Castrol Mugen, Raybrig, Loctite Mugen, NSX-R LM Race Car, & this one). When gamers fire up GT4's Arcade Mode for the 1st time, they'll start w/ the TAKATA Dome NSX, & must unlock the other 6 NSX race cars for use in Arcade Mode through GT Mode.

I think you're right. Had PD added this car to the NTSC-U version of GT4, it would be named the Exxon Superflo Supra (remember, ESSO was referred to as Exxon in America). -- Last edit: 2016-05-17 19:08:33

2015-12-21 17:46 | This car won 2 WRC rallys outright in 1999,beating all the 4wd WRC cars, guess that`s why it`s in the game. It raced in the 2 litre n/a Formula 2 class, where the cars had around 280-300 hp, weighed less than 1000 kg, and were very fast especially on tarmac. They also revved very high, around 9000-10 000 rpm, since there were no rev limits imposed by the rules. This is not the WRC version, but it was very successfull none the less.

The rear lights of are rectangles and the lights which are on GT4, are COMPLETELY WRONG. Because of that, it can't be listed as S1. So, it's an 1964 S1. -- Last edit: 2014-07-26 15:52:44
