2020-01-30 01:27 | EEVEE(POKEMON) wrote Exactly, I want to spawn in my own special traffic in race events, or even arcade cruise mode. You can spawn special traffic models in cruise mode in MCII, by editing the game files to have one in its place, but the thing is, you can only do that if you have the PC version of Midnight Club II. I wish it were easy to get it on Steam, because you can't - it's not for sale. Part of the reason why it's NFS (not for sale) is 'cause this game doesn't support Windows Vista or 7, possibly beyond that. There is no legitimate way to own it other than finding a physical copy, which is a pain to find because the PC version afaik is rare compared to the console versions. Also a meta reason: The reason why there's only a few select cars allowed in cruise mode is because they could only allow certain vehicles to spawn in multiple colors, e.g. one car shows up 5-6 times with different colors. At the time, they couldn't allow every car to be in, hence why if you cruise in L.A., you don't see the Explorer, limo or the semi-truck often - it only shows up in Career races (and they are not in circuit races!). -- Last edit: 2020-01-30 01:36:01 |
