| Antti-san a écrit Still a huge difference between making a look-a-like model and having a licensed one, with all the legalese involved. So, is this model not a look-a-like of the Lincoln but fictionalized? Yes, it is. All I know is that there are games that make vehicles that are fictional, but bear similar resemblances to the real versions. | |
| Vxctec a écrit I don’t know, there are games that create vehicles that almost look exactly like their real variants (Example: The new vehicles in GTA 5). The damage physics are still the same. | Victor_2003 a écrit Because its a unlicensed variant of the standard Lincoln made to be used in scenes with car destruction, since the manufacturers have rules about vehicle deformation and destruction. | Vxctec a écrit I don't know why Ubisoft couldn't make this playable in the first place. It's a vehicle included in the game, so they have the right to make it drivable for the player. | SnifflesThe213 a écrit Are they playable cause the guy is driving, even the interior. Probably its a mod or cheat code. | |

| Unfortunately, the new Lincoln Zephyr is only made for the Chinese market. | |
| looks more like a 2006 hyundai sonata than a lincoln mkz to be honest www.iihs.org/api/ratings/model-year-images/1934 | |
| The name of this car is incorrect - the 2006 models were called Lincoln Zephyr, it was renamed to MKZ in 2007. | |
| This car is added as a fictional car only to be blowed up in various follow-the-target missions | |
Mine is "I seem the saint" ![]()
| A-saym deh-sahn for me. I'm sure some people would just pronounce the manufacturer name as simply A-S-Y-M. | |
If you say the name out loud it does sound like Awesome Design... ![]() So that means the car design is not awesome? I don't think it looks impressive. ![]()
The more I look at it, the more I see Lincoln LS... -- Last edit: 2016-09-14 03:38:42
| Also shows up in 'The Crew' in the introduction as a Taxi, drops the PC off at a dealer. | |
| they were clearly meant to be drivable. dash views, complete damage models, their own soundbanks. i have no clue why ubi wouldn't let reflections patch them and the monaco cop to be drivable. luckily, there's a friend of mine on driver madness who hexed them in. in regards to the wheel oddity, it's using the "FASTWHEEL" model, the model used when the wheel is in motion. -- Last edit: 2014-06-02 01:00:41 | |
| The only time these cars were ever used was when a car was required to explode. The plot never requires a taxi to do this, but the option was clearly on the table at some point during development. Still, there is no reason why any of these three cars couldn't have been used as driveable traffic vehicles, especially when we already have the unlicensed trucks and buses. -- Last edit: 2014-06-02 00:34:37 | |
| Well, there's no point using something unlicensed for a taxi when the game already had both a Crown Vic and an Impala. Also, the wheels look a little odd. Maybe they're too small, maybe they're sticking out of the chassis too much but they just look wrong. | |
| imgur.com/a/bvZpn here's the asym taxi, god knows why it went unused. | |
Aw please, it's nearly indetical:![]()
| Lol, Lincoln MKZ? More like Lincoln LS. (and yes the lincoln ls is a real car and i was not saying the lexus ls) | |
| by hex modding... i know but i don't know how to use it lol.... | |
Oh well, i can't really help you with this, cause i have completely no idea about modding Driver San Francisco ![]() But i heard some guy replaced a bunch of cars with Tanner's Challenger... -- Last edit: 2013-03-01 15:30:52
| how? | |
| Anyways, i heard that it is possible to replace cars in this game. So then, it would be possible to aquire the Dessane's files and then replace an existing car with them... | |
| Maybe it's the beta version or something, i don't know... | |
| then how the hell that guy can drive Desanne? | |
| civic_eg6_94 a écrit and probably a mod that can manage which cars that you would like to appear in traffic If something like that existed, it would be possible to make the Desanne's appear in the traffic. This way, the first mod you mentioned wouldn't be neccesarry. | |
| I wish there's a mod that turn this into drivable car, and probably a mod that can manage which cars that you would like to appear in traffic | |
HAX. ![]() | |
| O_O Now, how did they get this thing drivable? | |
Guys , look what i found... an interior of ASYM Desanne.... it's real guys![]() i found it at forum -- Last edit: 2013-02-27 03:40:18
| In "Switch" mode or whatever it is called, you can actually point the camera at it, however you can't select it and drive it... www.youtube.com/watch?v=4z_iCjoRI6Y | |
| I suggest an green star 'cause it's seen in some scenes. | |
| Star Wars Fanatic a écrit The official word from the developers: "A combination of Crown Vic, Lincoln Zephyr, Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan but plenty of subconscious influences from other cars too." Because they now have licensed cars and manufacturers wouldn't allow them to blow their cars up, they had to make the unlicensed cars bear almost no resemblance to a real car whatsoever so that people are under no illusions. Made for game it is! Seriously? The one chance.....THE ONE CHANCE......you get to talk to the devs about the ASYMS, you don't ask them if they're going to patch them and make them drivable, along with the Monaco copcar??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?! -- Last edit: 2011-11-27 20:59:17 | |
| this car appears on the scripte traffic in the mission that you have to follow a girl in an aston martin in that mission, the shift ability is disabled | |

| Same unlicensed car as the police car that blows up. |
