 Mercury Grand Marquis Hitman: Absolution (2012) | Looking through the suggestions, this is NOT a Chrysler LeBaron, as the body shape is totally different. I agree that this uses the Ford 'Panther' platform, so has a body identical to both the Ford LTD Crown Victoria and Mercury Gran Marquis. From the front details (the rear doesn't match either car), I would say this is heavily based upon the Mercury, although the grille mesh is similar to the Ford. Mercury Grand Marquis Hitman: Absolution (2012) | Mad Mike wrote Overall shape + vinyl roof + pillar trim + vent windows matches a mid '80s Mercury Grand Marquis or Ford LTD Crown Victoria. The front end is somewhat stylised (flattened) with a grille that resembles a LTD crown vic from the period but the headlights are made up. Tail-lights look like LTD tail lights rotated 90 degrees so the reverse lights are on the outside. Door handles + side body line that runs along the body above the door handles also matches a crown vic/marquis. Hub Caps also match but are alot larger. Overall It looks like a Ford 'Panther platform' sedan thats been modelled not too closesly so LTD crown vic or Grand Marquis Yeah, with fenders off a Chrycorp M-body. They took a shit-ton of Panther elements and slapped them on an M-body. | |
