1979 Ford Econoline. Taillights are taken from an old Dodge Ram Van, though.
This is the same as the Mini Cabrio. All of these in the game are convertibles.
It's a hardtop convertible in the game.
These are used for roadblocks, with spike strips.
I'll have to agree with the Oshkosh MTVR. It's the closest match for anything currently in service.
After seeing it in-game, I can say that the sides and back look old, with the back being very curvy and such, but the front end is very modern. I think it's most likely a Made For Game, though it's hard to tell.
Maybe a New Flyer D40LFR? Not exactly like it, but it's the closest I can think of. Looks to be a pretty modern design.
Not a big difference between them, but the bumper and side skirts allude more to tha M6 than the standard 6-Series.
Porsche and Volkswagen (Audi) are very closely linked, with the Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg, and Audi Q7 all sharing the same platform. The smaller SUV, the Porsche Macan, shares its platform with the Audi Q5. That being said, it makes sense that this could be both an Audi and a Porsche. I personally think it looks more like the Macan/Q5 than the Cayenne.
I'll have to agree with the SS, though the front is similar to the Impala. The roofline is definitely that of the SS.
JB 700 is so obviously a parody of James Bond 007. Definitely nice to have this classic in GTA.
I look forward to wrecking these things.
I'll definitely be taking one of those on a police chase in downtown Los Santos.
Seems to be an International Navistar 4700, like the Securicar.
The Contender is listed as a 2006 Ford F-150, so that's what this would be as well.
This should make for a nice battering ram in oncoming traffic (the best thing to do with the GTA IV busses).
Seems people were right in pointing out a Miura on the truck the Aston Martin DB5 was driven off of.
Front can be seen in the new main pic for the Calvalcade: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=56831 It's a Lamborghini alright.
Should the name be changed to Peacemaker, or was it renamed to Pacemaker for this game?
sajmon14 a écrit what about SSC Ultimate Aero? if the green car from the garage is the same one from main pic then it could be it It's quite hard to tell from how dark it is, but I don't think that car looks like the SSC at all. Looks more like a Lamborghini Gallardo, but again, it's pretty hard to tell.
I looked at the leaked TV commercials, and the scoops on the side of this thing look just like those on the MP4-12C. I'll say that right now, it's more of the McLaren, but the front could easily be more Lamborghini.
I'm thinking... Could this possibly be the Kuruma making a return? It was a generic Japanese sedan, just like this thing.
Other than the headlights, I think it looks more like a Chevrolet SSR. Unlike the Ute, it was sold in the US.
I'd go with Ferrari 599 GTB.
TheTerminator248 a écrit The Infernus has the exact same rear as in GTAIV. I know the GTA IV Infernus is in the game, but there are a few cars with newer and older variants (like the Calvalcade), so having two model years of the Infernus is possible. Might also just be another Pegassi model.
carcrasher88 a écrit http://images.wikia.com/gtawiki/images/b/ba/VIS_%28Front%29-GTAV.jpg (low quality) Front view, apparently. Seems to be correct, with the scoops on the sides. Front somewhat looks like a Veyron. It'd be great if this thing was as fast as the real Veyron.
civic_eg6_94 a écrit It\'s a different car than this. Notice the rims are not similar and that one lacks a side fender vents. Yeah, I was saying that the new car looks more like the F-Type than the Surano does. Turns out I was wrong and it's the new Coquette, so the debate is still open between SLS and F-Type for this one.
Definitely looks like an Aventador. I wonder if this is a newer Infernus, or something else?
Tuppence870 a écrit Possibly, but the LaFerrari concept is younger than the oldest screenshot of this car. I think this still looks very close to a Ferrari Enzo (particularly in the front bumper, doors and roof shape): True, it does have a strong resemblance to the Enzo as well. The LaFerrari is the successor to the Enzo, so I guess either could make sense, really. The back and roof area are a lot more modern looking than the Enzo.
Fair enough, seems it is the new Coquette. That clearer screenshot does make it obvious that the front is not an F-Type.
Considering the Jaguar F-Type is the successor to the E-Type, it might not be a stretch that this is the new Windsor, which was based on the E-Type.
Better front shot of one, with a bit of customisation:
Here's a better front/side shot: It is definitely the new Ferrari LaFerrari, not a Koenigsegg Agera. Not only does it look a lot more like it, the Cheetah had always been a Ferrari before.
I'd mark is as the Mercedes SLS, since I noticed a new car I the online trailer that looks more like an F-Type (including the same taillights) -- Last edit: 2013-08-15 20:35:39
Here's a better shot from the new online trailer: -- Last edit: 2013-08-15 20:28:28
The Tesla Roadster is based on the Lotus Elise, so the look of the Elise for the electric car is logical. There is the Detroit Electric SP:01 that\'s also based on the Lotus Elise and looks a lot more like it than the Tesla: seriouswheels.com/2013/def/2013-Detroit-Electric-SP-01-Studio-4-1280x960.htm seriouswheels.com/2013/def/2013-Detroit-Electric-SP-01-Studio-9-1280x960.htm
While the Peugeot Hoggar is quite similar, it was unveiled in 2003. The Warthog has been around since 2001.
Strange how this looks almost exactly like the W Motors Lykan: The company was only created in 2012, so it can't be that. I just thought the resemblance was interesting. -- Last edit: 2013-08-02 21:47:04
Seems to be the 1986-1993 Volvo 240 wagon.
Same as this: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=57995
This is definitely a 1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. The grill and the tail lights are pretty much the only differences. -- Last edit: 2013-07-29 18:39:30
Seems to be a low-floor model, so must be relatively recent. I'll see if I can find something.
Definitely an International.
carcrasher88 a écrit Better shot. That shows without a doubt that it's the same as the Unknown that D.E posted a few comments up.
Yeah, definitely a Koenigsegg CCX. The Agera looks similar but is curvier.
This is pretty much the same as the one in Vice City. Based on the cab and general shape, it'd be a Liebherr 952. images.autoline.info/s/construction-equipment-tracked-excavator-LIEBHERR-952---3_big--13030112495362018900.jpg
Top portion of the back somewhat makes me think of the Mercedes GL, but this is clearly just another Jeep Grand Cherokee. No idea why they'd bump out the back on this one and not the other.
Looks like it might be a Kia Cee'd or a Honda Fit/Jazz as well.
Looks more like a current gen Honda Insight to me.
Considering the game is set in the 2030s, I'd say this is a Made for Game. The front is clearly from an Audi Q7, back only somewhat resembles a Mitsubishi L200, and the rest just looks made up. |
