Tuppence870 wrote It does have Sesto elements, but it's far too large for the Gallardo-based car that the Elemento is. This car is the size of the Aventador-based Veneno, which it also borrows styling cues from. For good measure, I compared the sizes of the Zentorno beside the Vacca, which is the Gallardo based model in the game. The Zentorno is by far, the larger vehicle. Thus, it's listed as Veneno for that reason.
Tycek wrote Ever heard that this isn't the point of this page? We can look at the files and get the information, but main point is if the name is available to the typical player. If player can't see it without any hacks then it shouldn't be listed. Regardless, the car should not be listed just as a "Cadillac Seville", seeing as how that is not the actual model of the car. The game recognizes this as the Police Roadcruiser, and should be listed as such since it is an unlicensed vehicle. It's what that field on the site is listed for. As the car seen in "Prologue" and the actual car is the same model, which can be accessed to the player (Albeit unofficially through means of save editing programs.), and when accessed the game reads "Police Roadcruiser, Emergency", should inform users of the site that this is the name of the car, and should not be ignored, since it would give some the wrong impression that it is a Cadillac Seville, which though it looks as so, it is not actually the car. -- Last edit: 2014-05-14 05:15:48

Updated photos to show stock aswell as rear photo. Man, this SUV is FAST.
Updated photos to include stock design and rear photos. Design cues are heavy on both the Veneno and the Sesto Elemento. However, body shape and upgradeable rear spoiler hints more towards Veneno. -- Last edit: 2014-05-13 18:38:21
Updated photos to show stock, aswell as rear photo.
Not exactly sure what to fill out for this car, so I simply put in what the Kart is expected to be called by the game for now.
New photos in daylight replacing previous photos, to properly show off the car's detail.
Replaced previous photos with new photos to help show off the secondary stripe better.

ItsaUserName wrote Interestingly, one of the colour options for the Méhari was "Beige Kalahari". "Beige Kalahari", or "Kalahari Beige Metallic" as it's more commonly known, is actually a colour often seen on German cars, most notably appearing on several different BMW models, the X5 and 5/7 Series being the most notable. It also appeared on a couple of Volkswagens, Porsches, and ofcourse the Citroen Mahari as you mentioned.
They're getting there. Better than 2D or Picture pasted models.
Mieguy wrote okay i will try your specs for photos. Especially the wheel blurring was something that never worked for me, whatever i change, so thanks for the advice But that my cars are not so close to the camera is done deliberately to give the feeling that the car is actually in a race and not parking somewhere. Here for example i wanted to have the Viper in the rear shot so it looks like its chasing the Viper. After i ruined the Lupo cup Car photo i made the shots closer. Not a problem, just willing to help out so that the photos you get are of better quality. The issue though with putting it so far away is on a site like IGCD, people may merely look at the cars via their preview screen. If the car is so far away, people won't be able to get a good idea or view on what it is, and IGCD only shows you so much of the size of the image. I put mine close so people know right away that they can identify what kind of car it is and memorize it.
Mieguy wrote is filed under "SRT Charger SRT-8" ingame. Only the older cars are now classified under "Dodge" in Gran Turismo 6. First Charger SRT-8 on IGCD. Not to give you the wrong impression, but you really should work on your GT6 photos, you often put your cars too far away or the lighting is poor. If it helps ya', this is what I always set my photos to when I take screenshots in GT6. 16:9 Resolution Mode 3 Focus Range of 22.0 Shutter Speed of 1/125 (Allows to make the car appear moving/motion blur, the Mode 3 prevents the car itself from blurring up.) Focus at any bright lights to lower the light, AE Lock it, return to the car, than unlock and relock until the lighting is perfect. If lighting is still off, adjust the EV values. Hope that helps.
Glad to see this in the game, always been a fan of the Spano.
Picture updated so that it's closer up to the car.
thepuuh wrote Yeah 95% McLaren P1 and 5% LaFerrari lets make this one a LaFerrari It was made a LaFerrari more on the sense that the in-game manufacturer is "Grotti", which is GTA's representation of Ferrari. To keep it in canon, it was named a LaFerrari, although yes, it does look an awful lot like a McLaren P1 aswell.
One of the most dominant racing cars in history. Few cars can claim they swept an entire season.
Basically, I can set the story like this. It theoretically resembles closest to a 2011 Veyron, which was the last model year for the standard Veyron. However, PD lists that this is a 2013 model, hence why I listed it as 2013 Veyron. I'd say that if we all agree, that it'd be safe to change this to a 2011 Veyron?
The wheels wanted to point me more towards a Buick Regal rather than a Century.
You should try to take the image closer up to the car. The preview makes it look so small and far away.
Antti-san wrote I think all the pictures here should show the car in stock state - meaning no visual modifications or using paints that aren't originally available for the car. Whilst I can understand your reasoning, that doesn't explain why this would still be up even if it's not the stock colour. igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=30564
Love the colour scheme that is available for the X2014 Fan Car (as seen in the newly updated photo), must I say that's one of the best photos I've ever taken in any Gran Turismo game.
Interestingly enough, the plans were that the 15th Anniversary Edition of the Huayra was to be based off of the 2011 model. However upon release, it revealed to be that it was replaced in favour of the 2013 model. Only the regular production variant of the 2011 model remains in the game.

Still unsure why this is listed as a 2013 model even though the standard Veyron 16.4 ended production in 2011.
Added a downloadable star as the LaFerrari was included in an update to the game.
This is a mighty tricky one in terms of design. It seems to be heavily influenced on both the Ferrari LaFerrari and the McLaren P1. I'm putting my nod to the LaFerrari for two major reasons however. 1. Grotti is meant to represent the Ferrari brand in GTA V. 2. The previous Turismos were all based off of a Ferrari. (F40 in San Andreas, 360 Modena in GTA IV)
carcrasher88 wrote Since GTA V takes place in the US, shouldn't this be an Acura? www.netcarshow.com/acura/2013-nsx_concept/ Whilst true, that wouldn't explain why the Blista would be based off of the Civic Type-R, which was never sold in America. :P Nevertheless, switched to Acura. -- Last edit: 2014-03-04 18:56:33
Sorry, Supra fans, but the Jester has now turned over into a Honda. Highly customizable must I add, you can upgrade the car to make it look more like a racing machine. This would make sense, as Honda is planning to enter the new NSX into racing, much like the former car. -- Last edit: 2014-03-04 18:51:53
"Albany" largely represents the Cadillac brand in GTA V, and considering that a coupe of the ATS was recently released, this unlicensed tie-in could possibly represent that it was meant to be based off of the new ATS coupe. Ofcourse, it's possible there may be another car more accurate, but for now, I believe it's safe to list it as so. -- Last edit: 2014-03-04 18:43:17

GroupB wrote Even then, it was still part of Microsoft's one-game sub-license from EA. The license was switched from PGR to Forza in 2005 and consequently PGR3 featured everyone's favorite fill-in: good old RUF. I do question when that mysterious EA license is set to expire.
This Volante variant of the DBS has never been released as a playable vehicle, however it remains in the files and can be fully driven with the use of a Car Changer program.
Given the fact that "Dinka" is meant to be GTA's representation of Honda, especially considering the other cars (Akuma, Double-T, and especially GTA IV's Hakumai) are based off of Honda's, I'd say the Blista was meant to be based off the Honda Civic. More specifically, the last gen Civic Type-R (Europe) model.

ChoclitBunny wrote I still think this is a 2005 Saturn Ion. The rear of this car could be Saturn Ion or Hyundai Accent (they have much similarity), but the front of this car is undeniably Saturn Ion. eggsbawcks wrote It isn't; all cars in NFS World can have bodykits and spoilers added. It's just a modified MP4-12C. It's an odd seperate model based on the already existing MP4-12C. The bodykit has very slight changes which would be hard for some to notice.

So I can see that this is quite a controversial topic at the moment, debating whether this car is based most off an Enzo, or a LaFerrari. Personally, the way I see it, the first screenshot that was made available of the car, was released before the final production photos were even made for the LaFerrari. Now, it's possible that Rockstar might've gotten contact with Ferrari and they may have gotten a sneak peak, but personally, I'm not seeing how it could be a LaFerrari. It does look strikingly like an Enzo, atleast when it comes to the front, but when you get to the back, it's not even remotely close. It's too rounded out, and the lights are not even of the same style as that of the Enzo's. I'd say, the best thing that you could list it for now (until we happen to come across either an answer from RockStar or another car that looks closer to the Cheetah), would be that it was a "Made for Game" car. |
