Quantum Break (2016) | I added better screenshots for these cars more than a month ago, but they still weren't replaced: -Cadillac Escalade -Chevy Camaro -Chrysler T&C -Dodge Ram -Lambo Gallardo -Land-Rover Range Rover -Nissan Rogue -Pierce Dash -Prevost X3-45 Also, the game does have damageable vehicles. The Accord, the Camry, the Explorer and the Impala (both the civilian and the Monarch variant) can explode when shot.
No, it's MFG. Most Lego cars of this size aren't based on anything. There are few exceptions, such as this one looks like Charger, but the car above is just too generic. -- Last edit: 2020-02-19 21:08:50
According to IMCDB, the Tradesman name was used only between 1971 and 1978, the 1979-80 models are listed as Dodge Dodge Van: imcdb.org/vehicles.php?make=Dodge&model=Dodge+Van&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on It sounds weird, but it seems that this is the official name, since the Tradesman name isn't mentioned anywhere in this 1979 Dodge brochure: www.oldcarbrochures.com/static/NA/ChryslerTrucksVans/1979%20Trucks%20and%20Vans/1979%20Dodge%20Trucks%20Brochure/dirindex.html So, the (currently 13) '79 Tradesmen on the site should be renamed to "1979 Dodge Dodge Van". -- Last edit: 2019-12-30 00:20:38
The correct name of the 1982-3 models is Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue. The "New Yorker" part of the name was dropped in 1984.
Reused model from the previous game: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=100069
I think it's a mix of a 2001-03 Honda Civic and a VW Jetta: m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61RLYHiDMnL._UY560_.jpg en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Bora#/media/File:2003_Volkswagen_Bora_S_TDi_1.9_Rear.jpg
Silnev a écrit The front is a dead ringer for a 1990 Ford F150: No, it's a Chevy S-10 like stratumx said, although it's a rather the pre-facelift (1982-90) model: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_S-10#/media/File:1st-Chevrolet-S10.jpg
TheGreaser a écrit 1993 model year. That's incorrect, the 1993 model had different side windows: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/39/93-96_Chevrolet_Caprice_Sedan.jpg It's a 1995-96 model: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/aa/1995_Chevrolet_Caprice_Classic_sedan%2C_front_left_side.jpg
Reused model from Quantum Break: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=89255 Edit: No, wait, it's slightly different. -- Last edit: 2019-12-08 19:51:22
TheGreaser a écrit For me it's a International 4700. I think it's rather a medium duty Ford F-series: imcdb.org/vehicle_80063-Ford-F-Series-1995.html
It's impossible to get a better view of this van in-game, so here's the model in OpenIV: It's quite detailed for a vehicle that's visible for 3 seconds. -- Last edit: 2019-11-15 22:14:27
This pickup isn't a Chevy C-1500, it was listed correctly previously as a Dodge Ram. The front is similar to both pickups, but the taillights are difinitely from the Ram: imcdb.org/vehicle_387072-Chevrolet-C-10-1981.html imcdb.org/vehicle_53097-Dodge-Ram-1981.html Also, the C-1500 name wasn't even used until 1988, it was C-10/20/30 during this generation. -- Last edit: 2019-10-13 22:24:56
Attacker1997 a écrit I disagree. This car has nothing like a Ford Granada Are you sure about that? Granada Marbelle Versailles As Mel said, the quad headlights are from the Versailles, but the rest of the car is more similar to the 1978-80 Granada, with 1981-84 Lincoln Town Car taillights. -- Last edit: 2019-10-10 20:41:53
I'm three years late, but I think Mel was correct, this car is rather a Ford Granada.
AudiRS4 a écrit If so, why not change origin to USA on all LeCars? That wouldn't make any sense. It's French car, made for the US market.
Bumpercars45 a écrit Looks more like a Suzuki Sierra IMO I agree, but as far as I know, the Sierra name was used only in Australia. I'd rather list it as a Suzuki Jimny.
This is a Chevy C/K-Series, not a Silverado. Also, it's a Crew Cab model, which was introduced in 1992. -- Last edit: 2019-09-10 16:58:28
Here's a slighly better screenshot: Maybe an old GMC Suburban?
This van reminds me of the customized Chevy K-2500 from Tango & Cash: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_61187-Chevrolet-K-2500-1988.html
MBR a écrit How is this considered laziness? Lol This is clearly made for fun, it looks fine to me I think that was a reference to the LA-Z Rider scene from the Simpsons: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZu5iDTtNg0
I found the cutscene, the car appears between 2:16 and 2:45: youtu.be/TxKpYUJQ8cI?t=136 I also took some screenshots, but they're quite blurry: i.imgur.com/BlAdWmg.jpg i.imgur.com/xEiUo8Z.jpg i.imgur.com/9oa6ces.jpg -- Last edit: 2019-08-09 01:28:48
Mark0 a écrit PT Cruiser is since 2000, not 2001 webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=22605 That's true, but the production year isn't the same as the model year. Read the comments on this page: imcdb.org/vehicle_14027-Chrysler-PT-Cruiser-2001.html And if you still don't believe me, here's the official Chrysler website from the December of 2000: web.archive.org/web/20001206061700/http://www.chrysler.com/pt-cruiser/index.html -- Last edit: 2019-08-08 19:59:49
Some PT Cruisers are listed incorrectly on the site, the first model year was 2001 and the class is wagon, not MPV.
Maybe a 1991-94 Toyota Tercel?
TheGreaser a écrit I would have preferred either the Toyota Tacoma or the Isuzu Hombre (basically a carbon-copy Brazilian Chevy S-10). If I remember correctly, it was listed as a Tacoma a long time ago. Edit: web.archive.org/web/20151015030803/http://www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=48 -- Last edit: 2019-08-02 15:16:49
According to IMCDB, US-spec models are just called VW Cabrio and the model year is at least 1999. Also, technically it's a facelifted Mk3 Golf, so the chassis code is [Typ 1H].
TheGreaser a écrit The ONLY reason why this is a Ranger Splash is because it's entirely similar to one. The Ranger itself, like the Bobcat in GTA III is a small pickup in the States. For the Dodge Ram, it's more mid-sized. The Bobcat is not mid-sized. Also, Vice City, San Andreas and VCS models are directly based on the '83 Ranger (a pretty good replica I must say). Can you explain what do you mean by "entirely similar"? Which part of the Bobcat looks like the Ranger? Apart from the grille, I just can't see any similarity. Yes, it's a Ranger in VC, but that doesn't prove anything, since some of the cars' design were completely changed between the two games (Stinger, Banshee, Landstalker).
I don't want to start another war, but could someone explain to me why is this pickup a Ford Ranger? Because honestly, I still think it's more similar to the Ram. Here's how I see it: Comparison 1 Comparison 2 - the front bumper matches the Ram - the Ranger's bumper is more angular - the shape of the hood is more similar to the Ram - the Ranger's hood is flat - the shape of the wheel arches matches the Ram - the Ranger's are rounded - the Ranger Splash has a step on the sides behind the cab - the Bobcat hasn't If I'm wrong, can you explain which part of the Bobcat looks like the Ranger? BTW, I used the fixed Bobcat model from the Leftovers Fix mod in the screenshots. -- Last edit: 2019-07-29 02:21:22
I still think it's a Ram. I made a morphing animation between the Bobcat and the Ram, maybe it changes your mind: 3dthis.com/player.htm?h=NzQ2NTk4 The grille is different, but I think it's justified, since the Dodge crosshair grille is trademarked. Furthermore, none of the Dodge-based cars has the crosshair grille in the GTA series - just look at the Willard (SA), the Sindacco Argento, the Buffalo (HD Era), the Youga, the Gresley or the Bison. The headlights are bigger than the Ram's, but the shape of the indicator lights are the same. Apart from these, I don't think there's too much difference.
Does anyone else have an opinion? Should it be changed to Dodge Ram or not?
TheGreaser a écrit No way is this a Malibu Maxx. I still stand by the representation that it is a EP Civic with a fair bit of modifications. Does anyone agree, because this is a 3-door hatchback. Hate it when someone just edits something to a car that doesn't resemble the Malibu in the slightest, let alone come in a 3-door format, or have taillights similar to it, without fact checking. I watched some gameplay videos to find a front view of this car: I agree, it's definitely not a Malibu, it looks like a Ford Focus mixed with an EP Civic.
I have recently replayed GTA III and I think the Bobcat isn't a Ford Ranger - In my opinion it's rather a Dodge Ram. For comparison: Dodge Ram Ford Ranger And it might be just a coincidence, but it's also named after an animal. Does anyone agree or disagree?
This truck is definitely newer than a 1973 model, I think it's a '89-'91 Blazer Scottsdale: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_426173-Chevrolet-Blazer-V-1500-1989.html
TheGreaser a écrit What's the difference between this and the regular Dolva flatbed? I know it's a mission-only truck, appearing in two missions. The other truck's flatbed is always empty, while this one has walls and it has boxes and barrels on it. Also they have different IDs in the game files, the Dolva Flatbed is #00051 and this truck is #00083. -- Last edit: 2019-06-10 22:04:32
I think this pickup might be a reused model from Uncharted 4: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=92672 Edit: The same pickup model also in the first game: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=57391 However it's listed as a Ford Ranger, while the pickup in Uncharted 4 is identified as a Toyota Hilux. So which one is listed correctly? -- Last edit: 2019-05-16 01:36:54
This van isn't a Ford Transit, it's the Chevy Astro reused from Uncharted 4: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=92656
Maybe a Chevrolet Volt?
Same model: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=183452 www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=123811
I don't want to start another war, but I think I found a better match than the Accord - the JDM Integra sedan. For comparison: Accord Integra Chavos Anyone agree or disagree?
This van is actually a Chevrolet - the front is visible in the making of Driv3r video, which can be watched in the 'Extras' section in the options: i.imgur.com/IFaefpR.jpg -- Last edit: 2019-03-22 16:16:02
konkordski a écrit it's nice to see someone replacing swf's images here, but could you turn off the UI before getting a screenshot (if that's possible)? Yes, it's possible to take screenshots without the UI in film director mode, but I haven't played the game in a while and I completely forgot about it... I'll upload new screenshots as soon as possible.

This ambulance is a 1979-80 Dodge Tradesman, not a Chevy: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_580779-Dodge-Tradesman-1979.html
The Econoline name was dropped in 1999, newer models are called E-Series.
It's a Chevy Step Van, not a Grumman: cinemavehicles.com/images/F142556166.jpg
Speedevil a écrit This is apparently the first licensed DS in a video game ever. Actually, it's the second one: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=23431
This car is not an Explorer, the front end is definitely more similar to a 2007+ Expedition: Expedition: gr8autophoto.com/images/car-ford-expedition-el-eddie-bauer-4x4-01.jpg Explorer: consumerguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/06114071990009.jpg Also, the Explorer is much shorter than the Landstalker. -- Last edit: 2019-01-17 21:53:15
AutoTracker a écrit Reminds me of the Landstalker from older GTA games so I'd say Jeep Wagoneer. The Wagoneer has wood paneling, so even if this car is a Jeep, it's a Cherokee. The front clip looks like a 1991-94 Explorer with slightly altered propotions. |
