I won't say that new, it's more of a 1981

The Rancher SUV is based 100% of a 1975-1980 Chevrolet Blazer K-5/GMC Jimmy K-5, but with an aftermarket grill, like this one carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/3/1830/2901/29573950001_large.jpg

I'd still go with a stock '89 Scottsdale Blazer. like I said, same grille structure. Odd that it would be a Scottsdale though, since they were comparatively rarer than the rest of the Blazer trims.

Also, the body lines on the front fenders match the refreshed version of that generation, not the original body lines. On the original design, there is a distinct square that juts out and curves downward. On the refreshed front quarter panel, the change is a more subtle square that extends all the way up to the angle where it turns to meet the grille. The Rancher's quarterpanels look more like the refresh.

It is probably an aftermarket grille though. Lacks the distinct three-slat design of a Scottsdale grille. Has same headlights though. Squared, but similar to the pre-refresh grille.

Title's right. It's a 1989 Chevrolet Blazer.

The Grille has the ford-style headlight structure, and the body and cap are pretty close matches to the pic provided.

though there is a hint of bronco in it.

I agree but I think its more than just a hint of Bronco. But the main shape appears to be Ramcharger though.

Much more like a '86 or so Chevy k5 Blazer. The body lines are all wrong for a Ford, and the grill is more Chevy like.
