I swear Careless Whisper by George Michael just started playing while I was reading that very long post.
Burn Rubber wrote Question isnt if you can ID it Hmm.. Seems like you missed the purpose of IGCD? -- Last edit: 2017-02-08 00:30:39
Burn Rubber wrote For some reason Takumi's picture has extremely low brightness on it. Here's a better picture. (Excuse the blur. In this scene in the intro the game has camera shake and the picture is zoomed.) Please replace with this: i.imgur.com/zmGA3if.png No offense, but I don't think your picture is better. I can actually identify the car better with the existing picture.
mrmundy555 wrote Where can you find this car outside of missions? Very very rarely spawns in Eastern Broker.
Burn Rubber wrote Uglyman didn't even comment on that page... Nevermind, mixing people up.
carcrazedalex586 wrote Specific about which Jetta, huh? Jetta 4, bro! The window line is from a Jetta as well, but more rounder. I'm not your brother. The taillights don't look all that like the Jetta's. The Jetta's taillights are nearly completely red. Also, that Jetta was never sold as a coupe, so comparing the windows doesn't make any sense.
carcrasher88 wrote If I recall properly, the RR-DI version of the Wagon R was basically the predecessor of the Stingray model, introduced in 2007, a little over a year before the Wagon R was redesigned, right? Yes, the whole RR series which existed since the second generation is basically the predecessor of the Stingray.
carcrazedalex586 wrote Stop attempting to make me jump back on the Ion wagon. I now look at the car back. The front is a Calibra front proportioned like the Saab 9-3's front, the rear is without a doubt Jetta and the side profile is Astra! The Calibra is square, the Vexter XS is not. Can you be specific about which Jetta? Because none of them seem to have a rear like this. I also wonder which Astra Coupe you are talking about, because the only one I know has a very different window line. I don't really see how the V6 and transmission are an issue, since there is such a thing as FWD Skylines in videogames.
carcrazedalex586 wrote Exactly! I'm editing this to a Saturn Ion! Just two days ago, you were completely fine with editing the other one to Saturn Ion, so don't start making a fuss over this one now. The front still looks a lot like a Saturn Ion, the car looks nothing like an Opel Calibra or VW Jetta or Saab 9-3 or Opel Astra Coupe. Also, saying the license plate looks European and therefore it is not a Saturn is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Also, European plates aren't that small usually (unlike American ones), so do some freaking research before you say something.
patridam wrote I think you might be a troll, but... He is. Don't bother responding to him in the future, he will either not say anything else or write another nonsensical comment.
Kind of a difficulty here, since not all Fairlady Zs of the first generation were called 240Z. So 240 would be extra info, but you can't seperate it from the name.
carcrazedalex586 wrote I heard DeLoreans were bad cars. They are. They are also really cool.
carcrazedalex586 wrote Related to the Nissan 1100 bakkie, huh? (Although I'm South African, I speak American in real life) Don't you mean English? American is not a language.
This should be Saturn Ion, like the one we finally got edited on the Burnout 2 page.
This should be a Datsun, as the Sunny wasn't sold as a Nissan until 1981 in any region. -- Last edit: 2017-02-01 14:06:16
Ford LTD/(Crown Vic) | ||
That's what you get for playing a modern Need for Speed game.
Speedevil wrote Back in the day they thought econoboxes were cool. They still are cool as base models, but nowadays everyone only cares about supercars, muscle and ricers.
JFK wrote Actually I feel this is more close to Premier 118NE with those bumperguards and taillights. You're right, although I kind of feel like it unintentionally became like a Premier. Since the other cars are also somewhat different from the originals, it could be that they used a 2105 and altered it slightly.
VAZ 2105 | ||
Front looks like an EG Civic, rear doesn't look like any existing car.
Probably a Peugeot 404 Pickup with quad headlights.
Probably an Abarth, seeing how it looks a lot sportier than a regular classic 500.
Nevermind the doors, one look at the front should tell anyone it's an SLS.
sajmon14 wrote KE70 Corolla. +1
carcrasher88 wrote Not a Vectra. The back end is too rounded, and the textures don't match. What this is...is a Saturn Aura. +1
GamerFIB7590 wrote Evolution VI is not a model name, but a generation Mk: 6 -> Transforms into Evolution VI It has something to do with the coding of the website, because people didn't consider that there might be regular Lancers in games.
carcrasher88 wrote The Move (and Move Custom) is one of Daihatsu's most popular models in Japan, and there is a bit of popularity in the tuner scene there with these as well. In fact, DAMD even made a body kit for one generation that made it look like a Chrysler up front... www.damd.co.jp/products/imagesCars/move_cust04_bm_a.jpg ...love it or hate it, you've gotta admit, they executed it rather decently. Well I know how popular the Move is, just wondering why a 2002 and not a 2016?
Rear looks like a 2000 Honda Civic. Looks too big to be a Kia Rio.
3rd gen, strange they decided to add such an old (but not classic or popular) car. Unless this specific car has a following in Japan.
The front is as generic as they come -> the 2nd gen Gemini is an extremely generic car --> of course you see the Gemini everywhere.
carknower wrote So sad to see that all Transits, got the wrong MK on them, but if the cops want it that way, i guess we have live with it. We already discussed this. You commenting the same thing on every Transit isn't going to change anything.
carcrasher88 wrote I know nothing's been brought up on this in over 5 years, but...it's not a 4Runner. Look at the windshield, see the steering wheel? Yeah, right hand drive. Also, there's wing mirror on the fender, typical of JDM vehicles. So, it's not a 4Runner, it's a Hilux Surf. +1
Un Rinspurdo wrote im not! i know Alfa romeos aren't french they are italian Un Rinspurdo wrote I have french car and I like baguettes
Speedevil wrote You're Razor440 aren't you? Of course he is, he thinks Alfa Romeo is French. Only one person on this website lacks that much knowledge of European cars. - I mean, nobody on this site, as Razor is no longer a member. -- Last edit: 2017-01-23 00:09:06
J-2 wrote @Desscythe17 You are correct, even in Wikipedia for example, the Mondeo has 4 gens but as carknower says, they have next to the main gens the UK gen (MK.4 /M.5 for example) so basicaly we have to choose between the EU or the UK system. Even though the Transit has deep UK roots, I'm not sure about listing each facelift as a gen, where we should make the cut? Almost all cars are listed on real differences between model years, and so far the Transit and the Mondeo would be on the UK system, but since they are sold worldwide...long story short. It's a mess. So what do we do? At least for Transits. 4 gens, or 8 gens? I would say 4 gens instead of 8. A generation to me really is a "new" generation.
J-2, if I'm not mistaken, it's a UK-EU difference. The Ford Fiesta IV, when facelifted in 1999 became the Ford Fiesta V in the UK, yet most other countries just saw it as a facelifted IV. I believe that the Transit might be a similar story in that Ford UK officially recognizes the facelifts as new generations, yet other countries don't.
speedfreak975 wrote very simple after the admins apparently reinforced strcter laws nothing happened infact it became worst, ive been on this site as an active member for over a couple of years and the website was definitely better before. straight up half the admins dont deserve their status because i doubt they even use the site. they only active ones ive seen are J-2 and GroupB... and if you can tell me with full honesty and i know you are straight forward that the condition of this website is better than it was before 2 yrs ago ill shut up. because all i see nowadays are fights No don't get me wrong, the website definitely got worse over time, I'm just saying that the rules (although they were an effort to make the site better) also didn't make the website worse.
speedfreak975 wrote no offense, i havent been on this website more often because lately those "stricter laws that should help it" made it shittier and honestly there was a time when i found the website very juvenile and annoying How exactly are the rules making the site shittier? Have you in some way been restricted? Have people on the site gained some kind of right that bothers you? I think the problem is that no one is actually enforcing any of the rules, because the admins are basically 24/7 offline, and don't care when they are online. -- Last edit: 2017-01-21 12:18:46
Please get banned. You are not contributing to the website in any way, other than posting comments of the absolute worst kind, and I believe you are perfectly aware of it.
EnZo96 wrote Didn't Cadillac Stopped producing the Wagon CTS-V? I highly doubt they would make new one Yes, it ended with the previous generation CTS. It's unlikely Cadillac will build another one, since there is a very small market for high performance wagons. Not to mention, in Europe where people actually continue to buy wagons, the conservative German alternatives will always be chosen instead. Therefore this car is highly irrelevant.
carcrazedalex586 wrote www.allvehicles.co.uk/civic_black_anniv_009.jpg You are wrong. This picture shows a 2003 model. cdn1.evo.co.uk/sites/evo/files/styles/gallery_adv/public/car_photo_565258.jpg?itok=7nLC0QtV This license plate may be from 2003, but the license plate is from a Honda Jazz if you look it up on UK car check sites. I don't see how your evidence is relevant since this is the JDM model, not the UK model. Anyway, you are right, it's indeed a 2004. The regular Civic was facelifted in 2003, but the Type R only in january 2004 (according to the Japanese wikipedia).
2003 is correct. | ||
Burn Rubber wrote True. But then again everything R* makes is almost like the real thing. I don't agree on that, although the more recent designs indeed are closer to their real counterparts. The nice thing though is how Rockstar can blend two real cars together into a balanced design (except that new Ferrari/McLaren thing). Cars in Watch Dog in comparison don't look like existing cars, but horribly forgettable and uninteresting at the same time.
And then the GTA V one is a way better KITT.
With those menu shots I have to agree on the BMW X6. The front picture submitted to IGCD is misleading though.
K20lover199 wrote I don't see any BMW, nor any German Car in general. Looks like a Holden Caprice or Chevrolet SS to me. It looks rather compact to me, but the picture makes it difficult to get an idea of the size.
How do so many people see a 5 Gran Turismo in this? It's a sedan, not a MPV/Crossover/Hatchback.
No rear pic for this one? |
