2017-03-01 12:33 | If you look at this image of the Onyx cs1.worldofmods.com/screenshots/f80ce/2016-04/original/76b7535fb210fef8a917ebba88e0f0eadc31d306/195281-BeamNG.Drive.x64-2016-04-30-20-20-49-968.jpg And then you give a closer look to the 6R4 on Dirt 3 www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=36809 You'll see the same door, the same roof, the same pillars (except the C one, 'cause the rear was totally remodelled), and rear lights are in the same position of 6R4 ones.. they just leave all its "muscles" and make the rear side-window smaller, and that's it |

2012-08-04 18:42 | Well nobody likes to be discredited on public, especially for something that happened so long ago. As I said, because the rear window has been shortened it can be confused with a Golf, but the door shape, roof... It's 100% Metro. The Golf was much more edgy in the design, while the Onyx isn't, like the Metro. The Golf has a pillar on the front side windows, the Onyx doesn't, like the Metro. The Onyx resembles to British junior banger racers, in which the Metro is popular. Also the Onyx has the side trim and scallop of the Metro. If you just look at the C-Pillar you may doubt, but play with the views on the loading screen and you'll see the profile, door shape, door handle, is from a Metro. -- Last edit: 2012-08-04 18:51:58 |

Also I don't think it's necessary to get rude. Honestly, play the game and you'll see it's a Metro. Calm down a little bit, this is just a forum. |

2012-08-04 16:30 | I've bought the game and I'm 100% sure that this is an Austin Metro. The car is identical, except for the C-Pillar which is thicker on the Onyx which makes it reminiscent of a Yugo or Golf Mk1. The roof, the doors, the front quarterpanels, even the doorhandle is identical. The Runner is also very similar to the strenghtened Metros used at junior/rookie banger racing in the UK, and it makes sense because the developers (Codemasters) are British. The pictures might be a bit misleading, but play the game and you'll see this is 100% Metro. In fact I'd dare to say that since Showdown is made out of DIRT 3 leftovers, the Runner could be based on the 6R4, but this is just a suposition. -- Last edit: 2012-08-04 16:30:32 |

2012-05-25 00:15 | That's definitely not a Golf, I have perfectly good reasons for this, Reason 1: The pillar in between the rear window and the bootlid on this one is shorter than the Golf's. Reason 2: the front end is shorter than the Golf's. Reason 3: the door handles don't match the Golf's at all. The only thing that does match a Golf on this car is the wheels. However the new higher quality images don't make me think Subaru Rex as much as I originally did with the old image, so I don't know what it is anymore... |
sajmon14 photo_librarymode_comment 2012-05-24 15:02 | Well since Codemasters know IGCD, I think they mixed many cars into one to make us confused and keep laughing on the discussion |

And we have to keep in mind, that this game takes place in the USA. I'm voting Golf/Rabbit. Wait, so you're saying just because it takes place in the USA, a Peugeot hatchback cannot be in the game? |

2012-02-03 22:21 | One thing I can say it that its definitely not a Fiat Panda, the Fiat is to boxy, the windows are different, the wheel wells are to square, and the rear end is shaped different...Also definitely not a Peugeot 205, the windows are different, and the Peugeot is to modern in style...I also don't see much Renault Le-car either, the wheels are really the only thing that matches a Renault Le-car, the Renault Le-car's rear end is also much to slanted. Now, the main reason why I think its a Subaru Rex and not a Volkswagen Golf MK1, is because the Volkswagen Golf has a less slanted rear end, and a longer front overhang. While the door, shape of the front end, and shape of the rear end look quite close to a Rex i.drom.ru/~autovl/catalog_photos/subaru/rex/subaru_rex_2570.jpg I do understand that the taillights look different from a Rex, but I think there just aftermarket. |

2012-01-29 22:25 | ta-caprice-xi a écrit I'd suggest leaving this as "Unknown" until a front view of the car can be provided. Given the fact that every other stock car featured so far is based on an american vehicle, I highly doubt that this is a Fiat Panda. I've seen some dev interviews and it's probably worth pointing out that the demo derby cars aren't licensed, so this could very well be a Golf with altered styling. By the way, how on earth are people thinking it's similar to a Panda anyway? Even if you took all the plastic trim and bumpers etc off the real thing, the only thing that these two vehicles would have in common is that they're both hatchbacks. The Panda is much boxier. commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Pandabj1991.jpg Exactly! It's much more boxier, and it has square fenders, and the windows on the Golf/Rabbit are just like the ones on this car, and it also has circular fenders......so who's the idiot now, Jam? |
