'S0 80S' - So 80's, referring to the era from which this car is from, as the Countach is one of the biggest car icons of the 80's.
I'll give a better, proper one. 'JOTA' - The letter 'J' in Spanish, and also referring back to the Miura P400 Jota from 1970, which any Lamborghini bearing the Jota or J designations draw their heritage back to, including the Diablo SV30 Jota.
At least the Oka would make some sense in a game like this, since there is a company selling low-speed EV Okas here, but this looks to be the regular one, and not the electric one.
1965 Coupe de Ville? | ||
1979-80 Pontiac LeMans
Not certain on the car seen here, but I can confirm that this is a heavily edited version of the June 1980 copy of Car Craft magazine, which had a yellow Camaro Z/28 on the cover. dtkp6g0samjql.cloudfront.net/uploads/photo/file/13855794/gallery_hero_Car_Craft_June_1980-2016_01_16_10_24_42.jpg
I found the image on an Edsel archive site. It's just a prototype sketch, no model name mentioned, but it's from March 1956. edsel.net/prototype.html
Tundra with a Hilux bed. That's quite something.
Looks like a NYC Taxi Toyota Camry Hybrid to me.
Did some searching on Google, some results say it's an F-450, others say it's an F-550. One result also names the wrecker body as being made by Norfolk, VA's Dynamic Towing Equipment & Manufacturing.
That, and likely with some Elmer Fudd mixed in.
CYAN = Cyan Racing, which formerly ran under the Polestar name prior to Volvo's purchase of Polestar.
Yep, though it would have been more fitting on the [Z33] 350Z (aka Fairlady Z), since that was the car in Tokyo Drift.
Yep, Ryan Cooper from ProStreet, who was famously known for driving an S13, though it was a US-Spec 240SX in that game, as opposed to this JDM 180SX.
BIGMINI = Pretty self explanatory, really.
'CHAPMAN', referring to Colin Chapman, founder of Lotus, one of the direct inspirations for the Miata (as well as British roadsters in general).
'HP X' referring to the 1984 HP-X concept car, which the NSX traces it's roots back to.
'ENZO', referencing that the F40 was the last Ferrari that was personally approved by the late Enzo Ferrari.
I would have expected 'FROZEN', referring to the Frozen Dark Red Metallic paint that came with the First Edition, but that works good with NFS lore.
And the new meaning of NSX for the current generation 'New Sports eXperience', as well as the original 'New Sports eXperimental'.
Just like in Payback, the ZR2's stock engine doesn't match the model, as the model is wearing Duramax Diesel (2.8L diesel I4 with 181hp) emblems on the hood, but it lists the engine as the 3.6L gasoline engine with 308hp.
Another one that, IIRC, appeared in previous Ghost developed NFS titles, but never listed here. I remember seeing on in Payback, for example.
Yeah, it would only qualify if the game counted the other livery as a separate vehicle, right? Which, given that the Task Force version only appears at night time, it might be actually a separate vehicle. I wonder if someone will end up accessing in-game code and potentially confirming that...
World's largest farm tractor, built in 1977. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Bud_747
Looks more like a 6th generation Medium Duty Ford F-Series with some International styling cues in the grille and headlights.
Can't seem to find any name for this other than Benz 3-tonne (3 Ton).
Google results show that these buses were self-produced by ÖBB-Postbus, with ET 13 being the model.
Yeah, it's Origin: UK. | ||
I'm thinking Quattroporte or maybe the smaller Ghibli.
Another upcoming mainline iD chase car, coming in the 2020 C case assortment.
Uh...that's not a Volvo S60, that's a Holden Commodore [ZB] V8 Supercar.
Yep, that's a SkyActiv-D badge there.
I really don't see much Toyota here, if any at all. It looks a lot more like a modified Volvo 480 with a strange hump in the rear and the nose of an early 90's Aston Martin Virage.
Another iD car that will see a mainline iD Chase Car release in 2020, not sure what case assortment it will show up in, but it's gonna be blue, yellow, and red with regular 5SP wheels.
www.instagram.com/p/B4NUwJUASUM/ There is another version of the Rodger Dodger for the iD series, but it's an Employee (probably meaning Mattel and/or Hot Wheels employees) edition. There IS one way to win it, but it's only open to those in the US. Hot Wheels is giving away ONE of these limited edition Rodger Dodgers to the first person who can win 150 races in the digital Target version of the HiWay Hauler 3.0 and post proof of it. Maybe when they have a winner and that person has the car, perhaps one of us can convince them to get an in-game shot of the car for this site? That would be pretty cool.
With slight hints of similar period Ranger mixed in.
90's Chevrolet/GMC K-Series?
Sure looks like a Ram Van to me.
Could this be an A-Spec model? It looks like it has the blacked out grille and trim of the A-Spec.
Looks like a cross between a Porsche 356 Speedster and a C2 Corvette convertible to me.
Kitcar should be in either the name or additional info, as there was an actual rally kit version of the MkIV Golf, homologated for competition in 1998.
Not MFG, that's a New Holland of some sort.
Subaru Exiga? | ||
There's apparently going to be another iD Time Attaxi, with the second one being another mainline iD Chase Car (basically an iD Treasure Hunt). Should be released some time in 2020.
Scania? | ||
Pretty sure that's just reflection of the lighting around the car making it look that way.
There's also an exclusive digital only version of this that can be acquired by scanning a special display at Target (US) stores. It's the came casting, but with a special red and white Target scheme (complete with the latest animated version of the mascot, Bullseye). old.reddit.com/r/HotWheels/comments/dhsxyl/free_id_hh30_target_exclusive_if_you_guys_can/
Hint for those looking to get this car without having to obtain 30 Blueprints: This car can be found in the first case assortment (A Case) of 2020 Hot Wheels cars, as the first ever mainline iD Chase car. Each assortment will have one, just like a regular Treasure Hunt car. Best part? They'll be the same price as regular mainline cars, which means a lot cheaper than other iD cars.
I agree with Winnebago, as there seems to be a number of details that are actually rather characteristic of a 1976 Winnebago Brave. Like the headlights and marker lights below them, which the '76 model had in very similar layout in it's update for that year. As well as the short 'hood' style that the Brave was known for, and the 'wraparound' look of the front windows and windsheld. Also, the UG stripe on the side seems to be an attempt at a parody of the big 'W' stripe found on many Winnebago products, past and present.
That's actually one of the 2011 Super20 concept cars, with a standard MX-5 grille replacing the unique one with fog lamps and the hood stripes removed. |
