Next it should be the Morgan 3-Wheeler. I'm expecting the Caparo T1 and the LCC Rocket as well at some point in the future (they were licensed for PGR4 back on the day)
In fact, for a background vehicle, it's quite detailed.
Not at all. Clearly a VehiCROSS:
I think it's supposed to be a generic version of this: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=41366 It's weird they're doing this now. In FM4 it even had the Chevy bowtie.
Yes, but I'm not making pics of that one. Like the Transit, those are 2d models. A 3d version of the Mazdaspeed 3 is available, that's the one I'm going to add.
Funny, the background cars back in the demo days were like the real ones. They were altered later for the final release.
Just a sad background car for now...I hope it comes back.
The name is a dead giveaway...G Wagen for sure.
A game developer would NEVER license a car for use as a background vehicle, as a rule. They modified the design so no copyright laws can be applied here. This happens in like 90% of all background cars in games. -- Last edit: 2013-11-30 19:34:06

Ha. LUKEGT used one of my pics from Horizon
Another option would be OEM kits for this purpose. You get an Euro car and you could add US bumpers, and the other way round too, of course. In many cases they only have to add/erase the extra lights and done.
I see... Anyway, I don't mind them using US Spec models, they will make people happy in the US (I prefer the cleaner Euro look with less lights, though) but in this case...this car was born to have rounded lights. That's why it would be great to have each car from their own country spec, that would mean japanese cars with RHD, but...it's the way it should be, in the end.
Also, the Golf R32 is a whole new model (now is US Spec, though) They did made a lot of progress in fixing bugs and inaccuracies, but they still have a long road to go...
So, the GTI always had square ones, but the normal ones (at least some) had rounded? I'm confused now.
Whitewalls | ||
Still this ugly thing...at least they could have found a version with rounded headlights.
What? Look at the front. Completely different. This is more than a metal roof.
Wheels were rubbish before. Now they look much, much better.
Finally the Series I | ||
It's a SS. The old RS/SS monster from previous games is definitely dead

Looks like the horrible version from before is gone! No vinyl top, at least.
Both cossies made it after all!
A cardboard version, yes.
Alert: According to the official MINI website, all John Cooper Works models should be named like this: MINI John Cooper Works N Where N is the name of the model (Coupe, Clubman, Countryman...) if the car is a normal Cooper S, it's simply MINI John Cooper Works.
Yeah, no tobacco logos. But the livery editor waits for us!
I suspected that, but it's listed wrong in the game it seems.
You're right! Now it seems like only V-Rally 2 featured it...but that was 1 million years ago.
An early Countach and one of the latest Countach finally together, about time.
FINALLY a game aknowledges the existance of this car!
Sadly is the US Spec 5 door version, instead of the Euro 3 door, but better than nothing.
I have to agree on this one, Ford Escape.
Only the rear lights? The entire rear I would say. And the side (specially that vent on the fender) the A pillar...if you put the top up, is basically a Zagato with an altered front. Obviosly is was supposed to be a California, but it's mainly a Zagato, period.
Well, better said, first pic of a production open wheeler car :P And yes, it's odd. We know of the existance of this car from a gamespot video where it's featured as an AI car...
Finally, the first pic ever of an open wheel car in Forza!
The name is MINI John Cooper Works, just for the info: www.mini.co.uk/model-range/john-cooper-works/
The problem is, they altered the model. If you check the Regina from GTA IV, the front was very similar to the Pontiac, but was changed for some reason in V.
The XF is the Ocelot (Parody of Jaguar) Jackal. The body (minus front and rear) screams Quattroporte. Also, the name Lampadati is a parody of Maserati.
Oh, I see now...well, I'll go for it then.
Great, so it's there after all...and I agree, it's like the Willard on GTA IV, it was the hardest car to see in the game, and was cut for V, it makes no sense at all. If that are your pics, you wanna use them as the main pics for this page? I still have to complete the mission, so we can just use them.
I believe you. I was only able to drive it on one mission, where it is mandatory to use it, and that's it. I saw a video where a guy found one after finding the 30 parts of the submarine on the dock's parking, I hope it's there... |
