That's a direct nod to Maserati, which was founded in Bologna in 1914. It also mentions them having failed to win many Grand Prix (Maserati only has 9 Grand Prix victories to it's name, although they also have 2 driver's championships as well).

The XF is the Ocelot (Parody of Jaguar) Jackal. The body (minus front and rear) screams Quattroporte. Also, the name Lampadati is a parody of Maserati.

Possible, but since the cars have visible exhaust tips, it's not very likely, unless Rockstar pulls a surprise on us and adds some sort of Hybrid engine in this, but who knows.

As I said, this is a mix of XF and Quattroporte...just the rear and front are XF's while the rest of the body is from the Quatrroporte, so it wins.

I find that hard for the Vincent that first debuted in San Andreas as a BMW, and then sort of downgraded, but improved into a Mitsubishi Galant, and then drastically change into a high end Italian sedan like the Maserati. :/ Plus, I highly doubt, this would be still be under the Maibatsu marque the Vincent in GTA IV is under.

Mix of Quattroporte side, XF-R front like J-2 say and SAAB 9-5 like cc88 say. But overall look like XJ. Big front grill, intake under grill, two intakes under front lights, also side look like Xj, but with slightly bigger rear fender and missing third side window. More like XJ than Quttroporte.

Yeah, this is Grand Theft Auto, not Littlest Pet Shop. Imagine having an activity called "walking the dog" in a GTA game. I guess the dog serves a purpose similar to that of the dogs in Call of Duty.

Agreed, but the headlights and grille also make me think of a 2010-11 Saab 9-5 as well.
