I know Ridge Racer 7 was released here in the States in 2006, and the R8 was released the next year. Gran Turismo 3 which launched in 2001 had the Nissan 350Z concept, and the 350Z wasn't released until 2003.
McLaren F1? | ||
Some kind of Toyota | ||
A 1994+ B-Series ( Ford Ranger)
That is SO an R8. The only thing that isn't R8 about it is the spoiler.
Yep...that definitley a UPS courier truck.
I really have to hand it to the Gran Turismo series. They indeed have the oddest car lineup of any racing game. I want to see this thing go up againt the Toyota Pod.
The tailgate says "Titsubishi". lol So it's a Mitsubishi Mighty Max with a Mercedes E-Class front end?
austinallegro wrote Don't you mean overrated? No...undderated. Much like the SRT-10 Ram and Ford Lightning in PGR2. -- Last edit: 2007-12-24 16:22:33

Oooooh....I like that.

Actually now that I think about it, It looks very C5 Corvette-ish. The C5 was released in 1997, the same year of the game launch.
Chevrolet Mark III Conversion Van
I love that Skyline. Look how much its front end resembles the R34's.
No way that is a Focus. Looks more like an Audi Quattro TT.
Oh the sweet Focus RS in all of its turbocharged glory.

austinallegro wrote You go back to 1955 of course... Or 2015. Or 1885. Or even 1985. -- Last edit: 2007-12-24 10:18:08
This car was SO underrated in this game. It was awfully slow for something with a six liter V12, and it handled like crap.
lastinpurple wrote That is impossible because the R8 is a 2007 model and this game was launched ten years earlier. It's a Ferrari 360 Modena Thats just what I think it looks like. It probably wasn't based on a real car anyway.

Monte Carlo. | ||

djhobo wrote front reminds me of a Land Rover Range Stormer I would have to say thats what it resembles most. Or some kind of Cadillac concept truck.
That's a Hyundai Tiburon
Anybody else notice that the tire tread rotation is backwards? Those silly developers.
Neon wrote Mitsubishi Mirage That's what it does look like. I've never seen a Mirage hatchback before and your post peaked my curiosity. So I Googled it and sure enough, that's a Mirage hatchback. I don't believe the Mirage hatches were sold here in the States, and they've never been interesting enough to research.
Saab 900 | ||
I say VW Eurovan. | ||
lastinpurple wrote Somehow, the front reminds me to the Family Truckster lol...I was thinking the same thing. The Wagonqueen Family Truckster!
The V35 Nissan Skyline is sold in the United States as the Infiniti G35, which is what that is. -- Last edit: 2007-12-24 00:52:02
That's a seventh gen (2001-2005) Honda Civic front-end.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V
I see a MKII Jetta (1985-1992) or a four-door BMW E30 (1984-1994). Both cars fit in with San Andreas' early 90's timeframe.
Audi R8 | ||
CrazyCars wrote Subaru Impreza Wagon That's not a wagon...it has a trunk. |
