I'm not sure it's a facelifted model - the logo is based on the old Fiat logo, and I think the clear indicators were optional. Apologies for not knowing much about Euro hatcbacks.

2020-04-10 01:04 | I can't really make out the badging - I'm thinking it's a Supercharged model but did those exist in MR2's before 1988? Also, based on the shape of the plates, that it's an imported model from Japan. Euro-spec models would have an extended plate. This is part of the reason why JDM cars found a place as a grey market hub in the UK. Additionally, wasn't there an unused gang version for this car? It was there on the old listing but someone had to add it anew and removed the old listing. -- Last edit: 2020-04-10 01:05:03

RushCars24 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-04-08 09:56 | I've found the correct model year for this after lots of research, this is a 1988-1991 [R20] model (second gen R-series body, second facelift) And I agreed with @Desscythe17, this is still a JDM TownAce because the devs just simply added it to the game probably to reflect the popularity of imported JDM vans in the UK, it's more like a game reference.
Desscythe17 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-04-08 08:31 | TheGreaser wrote Toyota Space Cruiser, 'cause this game is set in London. (Space Cruiser is the U.K. name, whilst the domestic Japanese name for this van is TownAce, and the devs are from U.K.) Also, fun fact: This van has a BMW steering wheel. Imported JDM vans are common in the UK to this day, so TownAce is correct.

Desscythe17 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-03-17 15:49 | TheGreaser wrote I'm guessing they were Mercs at one point, but it's likely M-B didn't want their cars in a game with shooting and cars burning, so they had their tuning division Brabus license those. Black Monday has the majority of their M-B vehicles with Brabus badging, but look closer to the real Mercs. Brabus isn't a division of M-B, it's a separate company. That's how the game devs decided to circumvent M-B not wanting their cars in the game. It's much like games including RUF when Porsche was exclusive to NFS. -- Last edit: 2020-03-17 15:50:27
