2020-07-19 00:38 | Sorry... And besides, Mitsubishi is far from grace, sadly. No Lancer Evos. No Eclipses. No 3000GT or even a successor. Just look at other brands turning towards SUVs. Ford - they done it already and denied us the Focus Active Honda recently plundered off all the slow sellers, and unfortunately, the new Fit, which looks great and has bubbly design, will not be sold here. -- Last edit: 2020-07-19 00:47:35

RushCars24 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-07-18 11:53 | sees Greaser's comment above Ummm... You sure about that? (The first pic above was actually taken by me, during at the 27th Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2019 last year) Now, look, guys, please don't hate me around these Mitsubishis, I know my Lancer Evos, I love the Evo X, I love the Pajero and Pajero Sport, I know some of the Mitsubishi sports cars, I know the Eclipse Cross but not a fan of it anyway, but the Xpander here is another of my favorites as I liked the idea how Mitsubishi bringing back a budget minivan, since the Delica vans are very limited on their availability (unless if you want to import one of the Delicas for yourself). Yes, that modified Xpander what you've looking at above is actually more to a special one. No, it's not an aftermarket show-off, it's a real thing for motorsport, because yes, this is the rally version of it, they dubbed it the Xpander AP4. What Mitsubishi did is kinda similar to what Renault did on the Espace II into the Espace F1 and what Ford did on the Transit into the Transit Supervan, but unlike those two, Mitsubishi converts the Xpander into a rally car to complete the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship in the AP4 class. Originally, it was going to made its official rally debut at the NZRC Goldrush Rally of Coromandel in Moewai Park, Whitianga, New Zealand, but the car's homologation process from the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile wasn't complete at the time, so it replaced by a spare rally car, a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI. There are two prototype of this car exists, the first one was based on the normal Xpander, but before the facelift models that were launched in February 2020, the first one was the one being used and showcased at the GIIAS 2019, currently, this one still exists and is being stored. The second one is based on the recent newer crossover-inspired variant, the Xpander Cross, launched in November 2019, it features a redesigned grille (later applied on the normal facelifted 2020 Xpander), different exterior parts exchange and a different livery. Rifat Sungkar, an Indonesian professional rally car driver pilots this Xpander, with Muhammad Redwan being the co-driver of that car, since Rifat has now owns a YouTube channel, he posted a review of this car recently, you can find it below, also for a bonus, two videos about the car's track gravel testing if you want to see this thing in action. Don't worry, it will go rallying again soon once the coronavirus pandemic ends and I would like to see if this car appears in rally-themed video games, maybe the V-Rally series or DiRT Rally series should add this thing, or probably Gravel should add this one too (Damn, Gravel needs to update soon, it's kinda left far away behind from others) (Please note that these videos below are in Indonesian language, watch at your own risk) -- Last edit: 2020-10-02 09:26:13

GamerFIB7590 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-02-06 06:33 | Agreed on Rush, Indonesia origin, same case with Suzuki Ertiga, Daihatsu Gran Max, and Toyota Kijang (Tamaraw or Innova in any other countries), they are only sold in Indonesia Also heck, i accidentally forgot to change the class to Off-road/SUV!
RushCars24 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-02-06 04:41 | First L34 on the site! Don't get me wrong, this is actually the current sixth generation Altima, chassis code designation for this generation is [L34] and the year is 2019+.
RushCars24 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-02-06 04:08 | I don't think so, only the early developments come from Japan but this car is NOT available for the Japanese market and the rest of the development were later carried on to Indonesia in order to deal with the prototype testings on several types of road conditions in Indonesia (Japan is more different, along with their regulations, resulting the Xpander don't fit well there). Mitsubishi chose Indonesia to become the base plant for the Xpander because Indonesians love 7-seater vehicles like MPVs, so they built the car there and sold locally, along with exports to most emerging markets. The unveiling takes place in Indonesia, with the world premiere launch at the GIIAS 2017, also in Indonesia. This car is only available in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia (like Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Myanmar), South Asia (like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka), South America (like Peru and Bolivia), and Middle East (like Egypt), most of those mentioned markets will receive its units from Indonesia. Therefore, the origin is technically Indonesia. This car's production will also expanding to Vietnam and Malaysia soon, but the origin still stays Indonesia due to the developments. The Xpander's most rivalry, the Toyota Avanza is also fully developed in Indonesia, while the early developments come from Japan, most of the development of the Avanza were mostly carried in Indonesia to penerate the Indonesian road conditions. -- Last edit: 2020-02-17 09:08:58
RushCars24 photo_librarymode_comment 2020-02-06 03:57 | This is a Russian developed game and it's the larger version that was first introduced in that market, not the smaller Clio-based version, in Russia, this is known as the Renault Kaptur, not Captur, therefore, this is rather more the first Kaptur on the site, the reason why it is called Kaptur in Russia is because the Russians can't pronounce "Captur" correctly due to their language, instead making too many mistakes, the letter 'C' in the first letter is changed to a 'K', resulting named "Kaptur". In Brazil and India, this larger version is badged as the Captur. Also, chassis code is B0, because this larger version uses the same platform as the Dacia Duster, rather than the fourth generation Renault Clio what the smaller version uses. Also, the larger Duster-based version was first launched in 2016, 2013 is only for the smaller Clio-based version.
