You're probably thinking of the GAZ M13 Chaika: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GAZ_Chaika
Curiously enough, the styling was inspired by Packard models of the same era and the powertrain was a very close copy to a Packard's, too.

And now, they're going full-on Cole Phelps on the game. What the hell... :/

The game is/was a massive disappointment, dead on arrival, so to say. When I saw them announce two DLCs before the game was even released, I knew that was it. The game was going to be a massive flop. Though it did entertain me when I bought it eventually, for a Mafia game it is horrible. The repetitive racket missions, all the technical issues... It just never lived up to the predecessors.

And still, Hangar 13 keeps beating on that dead horse. You can clearly see the desperation and lack of ideas as they keep on attempting to improve the game's lifespan.

It's sad to see the Mafia series be reduced to this. It's just that typical attitude you see with many recent games - corporate greed combined with clinging on to past glories. Everyone's selling out, hardly anybody delivers like they used to.

For the same price of 15$, you can have like 30 hours of gameplay with Fallout 4 and Nuka World for example. I bet that the vietnam DLC is gonna use the bayou assets and even the bayous itself, make invisible walls and call it vietnam.

Mafia III (2016)Lightwader SI (0)This is probably the most vapid gimmick they could have come up with. More importantly, though, first they release the game before it's ready (seriously, hasn't anybody learned from the disaster that was Driv3r?), then, they announce three additional DLCs. On top of the two that were coming out before they even released the game, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?

Said DLCs contain content that should have been in the base game. Family kickback, for instance - The two most iconic muscle cars of the 1960s. Everyone was thrilled to drive a Mustang or Camaro before the game was released. But nah, they're a pre-order bonus and not in the base game. This, and the fact that you need to buy another DLC to throw grenades from the car.

You can also see that Hangar 13 they stole Franklin's car stealth handling from GTA 5. I hope they don't add just 2 cars, if they do, I'd be pissed. Hope they add several more cars.

I don't know if you've ever played Mafia II, but I don't think this series has ever pretended for a second that it wasn't a GTA rip-off. I hated GTA IV, but Mafia II was somehow a worse copy of it.

GTA IV wasn't that bad, but it just they didn't add enough content and more stuff into it. Some people say Mafia 2 was disappointment.

Mafia III (2016)HURACAN SD (16)They should make the tractor and the Wheel-Loader drivable. They also need to add a Firetruck and an Ambulance, and maybe a Tow Truck. I'm also hoping they should make us customize car from a road because that's what Mafia 2 did. They should also add different cop cars in heat levels (wanted level). The Eckhart Champion at low wanted level, and other cop cars at medium level, and army cars like the Gai 363 Military or Bulworth Mohican at high wanted levels.

uglyman323 wrote A modern car in a game which as a ambient of 1960-1970s??

I think you might be a troll, but...

The game is framed as a modern documentary, talking about the events of 1968 and Lincoln Clay. The documentary part is where they come back to Father James (a character in the 1968 part), much older, in 2016, where he talks about Lincoln and 1968. This and the other two cars only appear in the "documentary" parts of the game with Father James, which are set in 2016, not 1968. There are some historical problems with this games cars, but these are not it.
