How this is not a Saturn Ion: -The Finnish would never model it after an average everyday American car. It's obvious they would go for a European car. -The Vexter XS name has nothing to do with planets or whatever. It sounds like Vectra so Opel was also mixed in. The Calibra and the Astra Coupé. The name Vexter XS might also derive from Vee-Six. Tristam, you were wrong. Window lines don't matter. The CTR is a Honda CR-X with an altered window line. It doesn't matter if a European luxury vehicle enters a demolition derby game. I think they wanted to modernize an old Saab, which is very fitting for that type of game. -The Vexter's headlights are Saab headlights, yet the hood line goes right into the indicator as if it's a Calibra thing. The headlights are too small to be Ion headlights, and the grille aligns the Saab grille, not the Ion grille. -The body shape is a 100% Saab body shape with doors from the Astra Coupé. The Ion does not have a big bumper, while other cars compared to the Vexter do. The Vexter also has a Saab hood. -The Vexter has a Saab/Jetta rear with taillights from a Lexus IS, but smaller. -The Vexter XS in FlatOut 2 has the gas cap texture of a Renault Mégane.
