More likely a Mirage 5th gen (1995-2000) rather than a Lancer.
This style has nothing to do with early 2000s. Especially those big turn signals in the bumper and the side edges, that are an heritage from late 80s in automotive design.

I appreciate your tries to identify the car, but will it make difference if I give the Lancer spoiler and wheels typical to Japanese cars.
Your suggestions may have in guess the compact sedans and can match good, but developers seem basing on a real car including its specifications, so none of your ideas come up with AWD and a Sports car.
You can disagree with that post, but I stand with Lancer Evolution.

Maybe a 1991-94 Toyota Tercel?

Rear lights seem to match pretty well.

Gemini is little too boxy to match the vehicle despite the lights.

I got my sentence a little wrong as I meant FWD Lancer since 1982 to now. Mirage -based produced 1982-2000.
AWD in regular Lancer debuts in 2007 and ends in 2017.

PS: I know Lanvo seems being more beliefworthy if I installed Lancer spoiler in it, but hasn't been in a stock one.

Well, it looks like it has bits of a muscle car in it due to the charger/mustang Mk1 wheels.

I remember Lanvo was in DD2, but as a Lancer Evo IX, here looks like older ones. Possibly between V-VI (by headlights).
The little bulge at the sides and all-wheel drive can drive up to the japanese vehicle.
