Made for Game Coupe Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | The front and rear textures are actually from the Lexus ES.
Made for Game Coupe Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Should also be listed as Eunos Cosmo if that's what people believe this is.

Honda Civic Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | The Volvo 850 looks very different to this car.
Ford Mustang Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Looks like E46 M3 at the rear; R32 skyline up front. -- Last edit: 2015-05-03 18:01:27
Honda Civic Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | The front looks a bit like an '01 Dihatsu Sirion, the middle looks like a gen 2 Civic and the back is not too dissimilar from a Volvo 850. a Volvo 850. Overall, it's a bit like a last gen Kia Rio. -- Last edit: 2015-05-03 17:59:39
Audi A4 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Maybe a Crown Vic?
Volkswagen Golf Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Volkswagen Golf, I'd say.
Chevrolet Venture Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | carcrasher88 a écrit Not so awesome when you take into consideration how bad it and it's rebadged variants did in crash testing... upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a6/1997_Pontiac_Trans_Sport_SE_IIHS.jpg Also wasn't there another rebadged one sold in Europe under the Opel/Vauxhall brand? Actually yeah, I remembered seeing a glimpse of this in Clarkson's Car Years, and funny enough, he talked about how the Chrysler Grand Voyager scored 0 in the crash tests along with said footage, but never did he mention about the Venture, or Sintra as it was badged.

Chevrolet Venture Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Yes, grille is poining to Chevy Venture Still, I am jealous to Americans, so many awesome cars were built in their country...
Chrysler M60 'Patton' Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | This is Island Outskirts as well. If you're on the normal direction version, it's on the beach off to the left on the last shortcut before the start/finish line on the bridge, and the first shortcut on Island Outskirts II (reverse). If I recall properly, there's two of them, and it's apparently being filmed in a rather D-Day like scene.
Chrysler M60 'Patton' Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Daimler-Benz Panzerkampfwagen II?
Volkswagen Golf Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | That's what I wasn't sure of, whether this is just the Volkswagen Golf traffic model in the lava or not? That's why I left it as Unknown, for everyone else to debate on.
Volkswagen Golf Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Looks like VW Golf to me
Ford Custom Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | 1949 Ford Tudor or just 1949 Ford -- Last edit: 2015-04-15 00:30:07
Ford Mustang Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Depends on the track, I think. Some appear on all tracks, some only appear on certain ones. This was taken on Island Outskirts, which only has this, the Golf, the other hatch, the taxi, the Kurbmaster for traffic. The other traffic cars I added were taken on Outback, one of the PS2 exclusive tracks.
Chevrolet Impala Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | PC to PS2, probably only if you're using an emulator. PS2 to PC, though...that could probably be done.
Ford Custom Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Yep, right behind the gas station on the Desert Heat track, and I think also on the Rocky Canyons point-to-point.
Volkswagen Golf Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Not sure if it does. If I recall properly, the tracks that do appear on the EA Seattle versions were visually different than the PS2 version, mainly sharing just the layout of the track.
Chevrolet Impala Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | I agree, it is a shame. Would've been interesting if EA Black Box was allowed to use those models along with the ones that debuted in the PS2 version. Traffic would have been more diverse.
Volkswagen Golf Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Island Outskirts on the PS2 version. This portion is called 'lava flows' on the police radio, it's between the end of the divided highway and the village (known as Pico Village, according to a sign there). Best way to view it is to go straight and bust through the signs instead of taking the path on the right, which traffic follows. If I recall properly, also appears on the Tropical Sunset point-to-point, since the final portion of the track takes place on the Island Outskirts track.
Honda Civic Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Or, technically, said body kit would have been added in UG2, since HP2 came first and was the first appearance of all these traffic models.
Volkswagen Golf Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Could be. It does seem like some of the models first seen in the PS2 version of HP2 had some alterations done to them between their first appearance and Underground 2.
Chevrolet Impala Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Yep, exact same model. In fact, it was not only reused in Underground and Underground 2, it was also turned into a taxi in both games. Though, the taxi from HP2 reappeared in Underground 2 along side the Impala taxi, though it looks a bit smaller in UG2 than it does in HP2. Then again, all this model reuse makes a lot of sense, since the PS2 version was developed by EA Black Box, as a part of EA Canada, unlike the PC/GC/XBX version that was developed by EA Seattle, a studio that was shut down soon after the release of HP2, so the traffic models seen in that version weren't reused.

FTE TS50 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Not available on PS2
Dodge Viper Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Not available on PS2
Honda Civic Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Another model reused in Underground 2, this one listed on the UG2 page as a '93 Civic, but it really doesn't look like a Civic. igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=5056
Chevrolet Venture Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Listed as a Ford Windstar on the Underground 2 page (igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=5059), but the body looks way more like a mixture of Chevrolet Venture and Dodge Caravan. The taillights are clearly Caravan, while the wheels, headlights, and grille are clearly 2001-05 Venture. -- Last edit: 2015-04-14 20:50:30
Ford Mustang Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | I meant to list this as a coupe, knowing it's the same model listed on the Underground 2 page as a Mustang (igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=13841), but I always thought of this as more of a BMW than a Mustang, especially the taillights, which look like E46 3-Series taillights to me.
Volkswagen Golf Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Pretty sure this is the same model seen in Underground 2 (igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=13845), which is why I listed it as a Golf. The car in the lava on Island Outskirts looks like it might be the same model, but it's not very easy to tell unless you see it in game for yourself.
Volkswagen Golf Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Golf II, [Typ 19E]
Ford Mustang Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | '99 Mustang
Audi A4 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | A version of this appears in Need For Speed Underground 2 (igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=5058), but doesn't exactly look like an A4 in it's HP2 form. -- Last edit: 2015-04-14 20:56:09
Peterbilt 377 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Peterbilt 377 ?
Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | yeah it should be added
Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | I just noticed, there should really be two separate CLK GTR listings, one for the one in the PC/Xbox/Gamecube version seen here (known to enthusiasts as the 'Straßenversion', or street version), and a page for the one in the PS2 version, which is actually the race car version.
FTE TS50 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Oh my bad....
FTE TS50 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | It's availabe in all regions and consoles

FTE TS50 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | Don`t remember seeing this car in this game , but then it was a long time since i played it . Maybe it was not included on the ps2 version ? |
