This is a Toyota Sienna, 2011-2013 pre-facelift model by the looks of the taillights.

Well here's a tip if anyone's still so bent out of shape over this car. I've said this before, and assuming people will disagree. But I'm saying it again, There's the option of ignoring this car completely. It's not going to help if you guys keep bringing this up and keep talking about this so called "Stratum Wars" happening again.
Top tip. If we stop talking about all this bullshit, it'll eventually be ignored and none of this shit wouldn't have even happened. Seriously, like I know we're supposed to identify this car, and discuss what it looks like and all that shit, but considering how far this car has gone, I think it's just best to leave it alone. All this "Stratum Wars" and continuously mentioning on other pages is not helping it at all, and I know who I'm implying. I'm not on anyone's side. But I'm saying what I'm seeing, as an outsider's perspective. There's that saying "If it ain't broke, Don't fix it." That sort of applies to this, not fully, but anyone else who understands can agree. Again, I bet people will disagree, and probably not read all this "spam". But it's my two cents. That's all.
The fact that this car has been left relatively untouched and fine as it was until now just says it all....... Wow guys, seriously.
The other shots of the front fairing and around the headlights reminds me of the Manchez from Liberty City Stories you unlocked when beating that god awful time trial with 3 bikes IIRC.
alatriste2003 wrote
No... if you watch closely in the other shots of the SUV, you can clearly see the bulletproof armor like the other armored cars have.
Wonder if there will be an unarmored version like the Baller LE, though probably will be one.
The March name was mostly used in Asian countries and Latin America, the Micra's everywhere else basically.
As far as I know, it kinda depended on the private importer, mostly it was US-spec LHD models imported in since it was easier, while some European ones, especially the RHD ones, presumably bought in UK and shipped to Vladivostok to be imported into Hokkaido, so all in all, it was a mixture, but majority with any American car in that matter, it was LHD.
-- Last edit: 2016-05-29 01:46:44
It's not too uncommon to find an American car imported into Japan, plus LHD cars are often as viewed as more "luxurious" over there compared to regular RHD cars. Plus the last generation of the Explorer before it turned into whatever it is now, was actually sold in Japan as LHD. And it also came with a funky fender mirror all SUVs/Pickups had to have.
Also the older gen Explorers such as in this game, and in that link Desscythe linked, was also made in RHD in the respective markets.

Well, only other reason why it looks like I could think of, that is the way how it's "tapered" towards the rear, or the whole rear part is somewhat rounded, I mean, these two angles it just throws it off. But nevertheless, I seriously doubt they'd make two models that are basically "clones" just to have that slight variation in that section of the windows in a game like this. Just doesn't make any logical sense unless they try to be bothered and add in details to make it different from each other.
Why would they go to the trouble of adding two similar models in a game like this when the developers were intending to put more emphasis on the playable cars? It doesn't make any sense.
The frontal pic looks like it's flat, because of the angle, it's hiding to how it'd be rounded at the back, here's a real Arosa. Roughly same angle, but even though it's not as the same shape of the one in the game, the rear end is rounded, but from this angle, we can't see that.
Also, that "shine" effect, or texture on the rear window makes you think that it looks rounded.
-- Last edit: 2016-01-01 09:30:36
The second picture doesn't show how angled the rear is compared to the frontal pic, but like civic said, it's the same car, looking at how both has the same details like the side trimming, fender turn signal light, and the way how the side windows are shaped, plus I don't see any other traffic car that'd look like this.

This, so much this. Everytime a new DLC comes out, I'm not surprised at all if the content won't be available for SP, if I wanted to try it so much, but not spend any money, I don't bitch or complain, I just use a trainer. Seriously, I thought people have gotten this in their heads once they stopped touching SP, yet it seems like Rockstar has literally just started doing this.
I'm not defending the game or Rockstar, I'm just as pissed as anyone else that they've neglected SP, but I don't waste my energy on complaining about it when it's not even worth it at this point.

I've seen earlier pics that got leaked that wasn't supposed to exist, the Hirochi emblem doesn't have that border and I seriously doubt Gabester would go that far to add that onto the car while he's working on it. Now those pics got taken down since, like I said, nobody wasn't supposed to see the car so clear early on. But there was shots of two rims that some other guys have found, and funny enough, slapped them on Hirochis and they had the ETK logo, and from the distance, it DOES like an H, but that's because of how the three letters are so close together.
It's because of this car. which was why it was relatively fine in being a Honda until IV came around. Even we never had this bad of a shit show on the IV page as well.
-- Last edit: 2015-11-29 17:31:29
My god. How about just forgetting this car completely, it's a waste of time of trying to have a fit over something so trivial and stupid that it's not going to do any good in the end. I don't give a shit if it's a Skyline, I don't give a shit if it's a Honda or a Subaru, I'm just done seeing people bringing this car up constantly. I'm sick of having been reminded of this shit show every time I encounter one in GTA. It's obvious that some people still stand hard to their opinions, and it's not going to really stop if people continue to argue.
The background looks like it's Tokyo in the video so I'd say it's a Hilux.
-- Last edit: 2015-11-26 18:04:19
This actually looks more like a 95-98 JDM Honda Integra
My god the insanity this has ensued. Not sure if I'm bothered enough to make popcorn while reading.
GeoZR177 wrote
And don't forget, there's the Zirconium Building in IV which is based off of the Chrysler Building, would've been rather odd for a manufacturer that's based off of Subaru to "own" a building in a city like Liberty City.
Oh god, not this stupid ass argument again, this is just like what happened with the Ingot.
Though I doubt this will happen at all, but what if Turn10 pulls a "Gran Turismo"(not the cloned cars way) and adds the NPC traffic cars from both Horizon titles.
-- Last edit: 2015-10-09 02:53:04
The 911's changed very little in terms of layout since the 60's, the other models like the Cayman, Boxster, including the limited production Carerra GT and 918 Spyder were Mid engined, the only other Front engined Porsche's, besides the 924,944,928,and the 968, is the Cayenne and Macan SUVs and the Panamera.
So, even though the current 911 is on a totally new platform (3rd one since the original) it's still powered by a flat 6 engined in the rear, and even though the whole car is almost twice the size of the original 911, it's largely, in some ways unchanged, and it's the only rear engined Porsche in the current line-up so far.

If it's about the way how the car handles in the game, that's plausible, if it isn't, it's funny how he mentions atleast one other car, and then goes back onto Mclaren.
And before he starts attacking me and calls me a "hater". Don't even bother, I like several and many car manufacturers and what I've just said doesn't classify me as a "hater", If I didn't like a car I wouldn't have said anything, plain and simple.
Assuming this is based in the US, could be the Infiniti Q45 which is the US version of the Cima. Seems more probable considering that this is supposed to be a luxury sedan.
Jeep Cherokee XJ? Hard to see, but I'm seeing square-ish headlights, plus the roof on these SUVs have those raised lines like it is in the pic, roofrack could be aftermarket, I'm also seeing a rather tiny rear mounted Spare tire, but some Cherokees I've seen did come with one.

It's a dark navy blue-like color, if you looked at the pic in CC8's link, you can see the blue-ish hues along the body. Of course this CarTown version isn't really an exact replica of the truck.

Also wasn't there another rebadged one sold in Europe under the Opel/Vauxhall brand? Actually yeah, I remembered seeing a glimpse of this in Clarkson's Car Years, and funny enough, he talked about how the Chrysler Grand Voyager scored 0 in the crash tests along with said footage, but never did he mention about the Venture, or Sintra as it was badged.
holden nut wrote
There's several trim lines ranging from the base models to ones that mimic the WRX in the game, think it's best for it to stay simply as an Impreza.
This kinda looks more like the first gen Fortwo, it has the bulging fenders for both the front and rear wheels, and even though it looks like the rear seems to be slanted forward, the two small rear windows behind the Tridion cell pillar are generally black, and well, from a certain angle while viewing from the top, I can see some resemblance.
I always thought it was an Econoline due to the boxy shape. Even though both vans have very similar details, the Econoline seems the closest to me.

It was built in Normal, Illinois along with Chrysler's rebadged variants, and even shared it's platform with a couple of other Chrysler's, and was only exported out to other countries, even though it was imported to Japan, but it wasn't exactly a true Japanese car.

For a clear answer to why, we don't know. But considering to the races that they do spawn in, my best answer is that the developers make them spawn there in order to make the race a bit more challenging and to a lesser extent, make the race feel, eh, more realistic. Another reason is because at the time they could only make so many different cars spawn in traffic, regardless if 1 in every 3 cars on the road are merely different colors of the same car.

More or less a GTA fan, the GTA Brand names didn't exist until IV had came out, and I highly doubt the Midnight Club universe is tied with GTA's. I wouldn't trust 100% of what the wikia says, since sometimes I come across info in bad grammar and/or spelling, or ones that totally just throws logic out the window.

Eh, this is a 944, you're talking about the 924 which had the VW engine, although that engine's derived from an Audi 100 engine, when the 944 came out, which is this, Porsche developed it's engine from scratch.

The Stinger GT won't disappear if you know how to spawn one offline. It's not exclusively online only, unlike the 2 cars and bike from the Collector's Edition.
Fact is, by the time GTA becomes abandonware, all the DLC cars and any future ones will be accessible through the purchasable garages in Story Mode.

There's a problem though, the Genesis didn't exist until 2008 and this game had came out in 06, the Genesis concept was conceived back in 2003, but the Coupe itself didn't begin to appear until 2007.
I'd say 88-97

I can see outlines for the rear doors though.
However, it was uncommon nowadays, but there was a few 2 door cars that were used as taxicabs, for instance, the Type 1 Beetle was popularly used as a taxi in Mexico up until other cars were used.
To get to the backseat in one of these, the passenger seat was usually removed for easy access.

Even so, the car pictured here even has the same mounting point for the front license plates for most Cavaliers as well, hell the side marker on the rear bumper's the same as the real one as well.
The only thing that I can possibly see that could be linked to an Escort is the width of the front solid grille compared to how it is to the real car, other then that, that's pretty much it.

I always thought that Boost is based on the Silvia, while Wingo is based on the Eclipse, not re-sparking or possibly adding onto a potential argument, but I found something that might tie Boost being THE Silvia.
So there was a group of TV episodes or suchever called Cars Toon and one of the episodes has Mater talking about how he went to Tokyo, and then this and that happened, and Kabuto, who according to Pixar Wikia says that he was designed to resemble Boost. Well,
If Boost was stripped down back to stock like our friend here in the pic, I'd say he bears a strong resemblance to a Silvia to me.
That being said, I think Wingo is more or less based off of the second gen Eclipse.
EDIT: Huh, first pic was large this morning, refreshed and now it's shrunk.
