Grand Theft Auto IV (2008)
Well here's a tip if anyone's still so bent out of shape over this car. I've said this before, and assuming people will disagree. But I'm saying it again, There's the option of ignoring this car completely. It's not going to help if you guys keep bringing this up and keep talking about this so called "Stratum Wars" happening again.

Top tip. If we stop talking about all this bullshit, it'll eventually be ignored and none of this shit wouldn't have even happened. Seriously, like I know we're supposed to identify this car, and discuss what it looks like and all that shit, but considering how far this car has gone, I think it's just best to leave it alone. All this "Stratum Wars" and continuously mentioning on other pages is not helping it at all, and I know who I'm implying. I'm not on anyone's side. But I'm saying what I'm seeing, as an outsider's perspective. There's that saying "If it ain't broke, Don't fix it." That sort of applies to this, not fully, but anyone else who understands can agree. Again, I bet people will disagree, and probably not read all this "spam". But it's my two cents. That's all.

Jet Set Radio (2000)
As far as I know, it kinda depended on the private importer, mostly it was US-spec LHD models imported in since it was easier, while some European ones, especially the RHD ones, presumably bought in UK and shipped to Vladivostok to be imported into Hokkaido, so all in all, it was a mixture, but majority with any American car in that matter, it was LHD.

Ford Explorer

Jet Set Radio (2000)
It's not too uncommon to find an American car imported into Japan, plus LHD cars are often as viewed as more "luxurious" over there compared to regular RHD cars. Plus the last generation of the Explorer before it turned into whatever it is now, was actually sold in Japan as LHD. And it also came with a funky fender mirror all SUVs/Pickups had to have.

Also the older gen Explorers such as in this game, and in that link Desscythe linked, was also made in RHD in the respective markets.

TD Overdrive: The Brotherhood of Speed (2002)
Well, only other reason why it looks like I could think of, that is the way how it's "tapered" towards the rear, or the whole rear part is somewhat rounded, I mean, these two angles it just throws it off. But nevertheless, I seriously doubt they'd make two models that are basically "clones" just to have that slight variation in that section of the windows in a game like this. Just doesn't make any logical sense unless they try to be bothered and add in details to make it different from each other.
Seat Arosa

TD Overdrive: The Brotherhood of Speed (2002)
Why would they go to the trouble of adding two similar models in a game like this when the developers were intending to put more emphasis on the playable cars? It doesn't make any sense.

The frontal pic looks like it's flat, because of the angle, it's hiding to how it'd be rounded at the back, here's a real Arosa. Roughly same angle, but even though it's not as the same shape of the one in the game, the rear end is rounded, but from this angle, we can't see that.

Also, that "shine" effect, or texture on the rear window makes you think that it looks rounded.

TD Overdrive: The Brotherhood of Speed (2002)
The second picture doesn't show how angled the rear is compared to the frontal pic, but like civic said, it's the same car, looking at how both has the same details like the side trimming, fender turn signal light, and the way how the side windows are shaped, plus I don't see any other traffic car that'd look like this.

Besides, if you do ever play Online, this newer Baller is a nicer vehicle over the original one. Closes the gap on the dominance that the Huntley S has in the SUV class.

This, so much this. Everytime a new DLC comes out, I'm not surprised at all if the content won't be available for SP, if I wanted to try it so much, but not spend any money, I don't bitch or complain, I just use a trainer. Seriously, I thought people have gotten this in their heads once they stopped touching SP, yet it seems like Rockstar has literally just started doing this.

I'm not defending the game or Rockstar, I'm just as pissed as anyone else that they've neglected SP, but I don't waste my energy on complaining about it when it's not even worth it at this point.

I've seen earlier pics that got leaked that wasn't supposed to exist, the Hirochi emblem doesn't have that border and I seriously doubt Gabester would go that far to add that onto the car while he's working on it. Now those pics got taken down since, like I said, nobody wasn't supposed to see the car so clear early on. But there was shots of two rims that some other guys have found, and funny enough, slapped them on Hirochis and they had the ETK logo, and from the distance, it DOES like an H, but that's because of how the three letters are so close together.

Porsche 911 Turbo

Real Driving 3D (2014)
The 911's changed very little in terms of layout since the 60's, the other models like the Cayman, Boxster, including the limited production Carerra GT and 918 Spyder were Mid engined, the only other Front engined Porsche's, besides the 924,944,928,and the 968, is the Cayenne and Macan SUVs and the Panamera.

So, even though the current 911 is on a totally new platform (3rd one since the original) it's still powered by a flat 6 engined in the rear, and even though the whole car is almost twice the size of the original 911, it's largely, in some ways unchanged, and it's the only rear engined Porsche in the current line-up so far.

For a clear answer to why, we don't know. But considering to the races that they do spawn in, my best answer is that the developers make them spawn there in order to make the race a bit more challenging and to a lesser extent, make the race feel, eh, more realistic. Another reason is because at the time they could only make so many different cars spawn in traffic, regardless if 1 in every 3 cars on the road are merely different colors of the same car.

I always thought that Boost is based on the Silvia, while Wingo is based on the Eclipse, not re-sparking or possibly adding onto a potential argument, but I found something that might tie Boost being THE Silvia.

So there was a group of TV episodes or suchever called Cars Toon and one of the episodes has Mater talking about how he went to Tokyo, and then this and that happened, and Kabuto, who according to Pixar Wikia says that he was designed to resemble Boost. Well,

If Boost was stripped down back to stock like our friend here in the pic, I'd say he bears a strong resemblance to a Silvia to me.

That being said, I think Wingo is more or less based off of the second gen Eclipse.
