Buick Century Driver (1999) | Burn Rubber wrote Second generation Regal I mean. (Which is practically a GNX) I still don't think this is a 79 Magnum at all... When I look up Buick Regal on Google, I get the current generation model. (2011+)
Buick Century Driver (1999) | Razor440 wrote I know this because my dad has one. In fact, it's on Wikimedia since he provided a pic for it. The Regal dosen't have retractable headlights though. By the way, this is the second first generation Dodge Magnum on IGCD. I've asked about the car in game. Rinspeed wrote To Razor440 and Burn Rubber, Stop posting big pics in your comments! So maybe you should edit their comments instead of deleting them? Now it looks like one big mess.

Buick Century Driver (1999) | Burn Rubber wrote Shit... I looked up the wrong freaking car again. I saw the second generation... Umm, you mean the Magnum or the Monte Carlo? Hakari wrote But how do you know that this car have this type of headlights? The whole front is taken from Regal anyway. I know this because my dad has one. In fact, it's on Wikimedia since he provided a pic for it. The Regal dosen't have retractable headlights though. And remember folks, 1979 Dodge Magnum. Not 2005. Buick Century Driver (1999) | Burn Rubber wrote Really? i.imgur.com/HeFsyZx.jpg Yes, really: www.conceptcarz.com/images/Buick/79-Buick_Regal_DV-07-HPA-03.jpg
Buick Century Driver (1999) | Razor440 wrote This car appears to have open hidden headlights. The 1978-1979 Dodge Magnum was known for having those headlights. There is no way, and I mean no way this is a 1971. This car has the looks of a late 70's car, not a early Monte Carlo. I understand you saying the tailights look like the ones from a 1971, but to say that the car as a whole looks like a 1971 Monte Carlo...or any 1970's Monte Carlo isn't true. But how do you know that this car have this type of headlights? The whole front is taken from Regal anyway. -- Last edit: 2016-04-06 21:41:17
Cadillac Sedan DeVille Driver (1999) | New Images. Beta Textures, reveal yourselves!
Buick Regal Driver (1999) | Here it is in the PSX version, from the mission "Hide The Evidence." It is actually different than the NY car. Before doing this mission, a unknown somebody leaves you a message on your machine back at the hotel. "It's me...You did good, real good! We got real hot car, we gotta get it outta here by afternoon. We need plates changed, respray man, we need a whole *****ing workout! Get yourself down here if you want to work! But this car is hot man, I mean real flame-grill superhot!"
Buick Century Driver (1999) | JFK wrote Front is 79 Buick Regal, sides kinda match with Magnum. Kinda. But overall look of this car is really close to Monte Carlo. Especially the rear end.
Buick Century Driver (1999) | Hakari wrote You can do it by yourself. Simply click on the "EDIT" button above, just under the year of listed car. Personally, I don't see much Magnum there. I think the best match is '71 Monte Carlo as suggested on this page: www.drivergarage.i8.com/NYCar.htm Front is 79 Buick Regal, sides kinda match with Magnum.
Buick Century Driver (1999) | Razor440 wrote EDIT: Uploaded better images. Also, can the car be changed to a 1979 Dodge Magnum XE? Done, new main pic should appear after few minutes if we will get lucky.

Ford Fairlane Driver (1999) | Razor440, to the rescue. Here are the beauty shots of the PC Ford Fairlane. Might have the PSX version coming soon, but we need a separate page for that one.
Ford Fairlane Driver (1999) | J-2 wrote San Francisco car for PSX. It's PC version with "taller" front end. PSX version looks like this:
Buick Century Driver (1999) | Hakari wrote It happens when you post a big picture in your comment. Yeah, very annoying. You should also send us a photo of a rear. It only appears on PSX version as a standard NY car (if I remember correctly). He might post the rear to the car itself and picture is now waiting to be validated.
Dodge St Regis Driver (1999) | Razor440 wrote Ahh...good screenshots...much better. Those screenshots shows a playable version of police car with shorter trunk (looks terrible!) that is avaliable only during one mission in LA. The NPC version is slightly different. Also there is a NY version with closed headlights. I think we should make separate entries for playable version and NPC ones.

Pontiac LeMans Driver (1999) | Razor440 wrote Oh darn, can someone take out Star Wars Fanatic's screenshot? I kind of meant to provide two pictures... The front pic is waiting for validation I guess.
Mercury Monarch Driver (1999) | JFK wrote You can add the frontal pics in comments, I will hopefully change them later. The rear pics you can upload by yourself from now on Thanks, I appreciate it.
Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Passo Corto Driver (1999) | Burn Rubber wrote Indeed the picture currently provided is very poor. Thanks for helping on that Razor. Your welcome. And as an added bonus, here are some interesting textures that reveal something interesting. Apparently the foglights were originally supposed to be someplace else on the front of the car.

Pontiac Grand Prix Driver (1999) | Pal, those old screens are downing me too desperately. Pal, NSTC-J, NSTC-U/C, y'know? By the way, it's a 1966 Grand Prix. I posted the beta textures. Please, y'know?
Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Driver (1999) | This is the boxiest Chevelle I've ever seen. Seriously, was the original intention for this thing was for it to be a Ford Fairmont?
Ford LTD Driver (1999) | That guy definitely has gasoline in his veins. "i aint thursty"
Buick Skylark Driver (1999) | Hakari wrote I don't know why they changed it but GSX was a playable car in a alpha/beta versions of the game. It appears on demo released for PSX and a lot of pre-release screenshots. A replay with original Buick GSX can be seen here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvID3VcotJw Beware of ugly Tanner's beta face during loading screen... Also notice the beta police car. Yeah... I said that they might have changed it. I didn't say it never existed, it just wasn't supposed to be Tanner's main car. because first off, 491 GSX's came in Saturn Yellow for 1970. If your driving a yellow and black Buick in the Miami area, they will spot you pretty damn easy. That probably means the GSX was supposed to be the Superfly car...which is the blue car with black stripes. i.imgur.com/zq1d97x.png And ha, it looks like Tanner was mugged by Claude in an alleyway. booooooo -- Last edit: 2020-06-21 06:18:52 (Klumb3r)
Buick Skylark Driver (1999) | Razor440 wrote Ah...you people are funny guys. The GSX was never supposed to be the main car because Tanner was supposed to be an undercover wheelman. GSX's are pretty rare to come by and you might be a easy target if your sporting a bright yellow and black paintjob. The Superfly car at one point must have been a GSX but Reflections probably changed it not because of copyright issues, but because the GSX and the Skylark probaby looked too similar in terms of what type of car it was. Lotus Elan Driver (1999) | I dunno, but i'm also thinking Porsche 914/6 on this page www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=80904
Mercury Monarch Driver (1999) | It's based off of a 1976 Mercury Cougar XR-7...
Chevrolet Chevelle Driver (1999) | Jeez, body looks like a 69, but overall i'd say it's a 1972.
Cadillac Sedan DeVille Driver (1999) | I NEED NAWZZZ wrote http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0IAPCxKWQs&feature=related This little cutscene before the last mission confirms its a Cadillac. Hmm...interesting.
Maserati Kyalami Driver (1999) | CrazyCars wrote Notice how the door extends beyond the b-pillar Common with alot of these cars.
Pontiac Grand Prix Driver (1999) | CarLuver69 wrote Sorry, but this isn't a Bonneville - this is a 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix. It is even referenced as one in the mission code... And it was supposed to look EXACTLY like one at some point, ha! This was from the level file that contained the hotel and the garage that contained the alternative cars for certain missions.
Chevrolet Camaro Driver (1999) | Obviously a refrence to the TV series, "The Rockford Files." Optional car in some of the L.A. missions, where the show took place. www.imcdb.org/vehicle_326721-Pontiac-Firebird-1977.html 1974-77 Pontiac Firebird Esprit (yes that is a trim model).
Ford Pinto Driver (1999) | My god this is an abomination. Looks like it was inspired by Fallout.
Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Passo Corto Driver (1999) | Antonio00 wrote Jaguar E-Type Hahahahahahahahahahaha...No.
Dodge Ram Driver (1999) | Hidden textures revealed something interesting... Seems to be based off an '86. Taken from the file that contains the hotels and the garage that offers optional cars. Probably how it was used, since some missions allow you to drive different cars. Here's a few new screenshots of the normal truck.
Ford Econoline Driver (1999) | Haha, that's one of the things that confused me when I was a kid. I laughed the first time I saw this.
Pontiac LeMans Driver (1999) | Change it to 1972 Pontiac LeMans. Side textures are OBVIOUSLY from a LeMans of that year. Compare the two using real life images, then use mine to replace the current image. I know a 1972 LeMans looks a bit different at the front. But considering someone accepted the fact the in game car looked like a Polara is just laughably wrong.
Lotus Elan Driver (1999) | Jaguar E-Type? Since when does an E-Type look like a cross between a Lotus Europa and a Lotus Elan? Change it to Elan or Europa, otherwise this is going to look stupid.
Buick Skylark Driver (1999) | Ah...you people are funny guys. The PS1 version has the front of a 1972 Buick Skylark (tweaked a little to be a little creative) and the rear of a 1972 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle. However, they changed it in the PC version to the overall resemblance of a 1972 Buick Skylark. The GSX was never supposed to be the main car because Tanner was supposed to be an undercover wheelman. GSX's are pretty rare to come by and you might be a easy target if your sporting a bright yellow and black paintjob. Dodge Charger Driver (1999) | This car is too much to handle. I see '67 Camaro at the side, a little bit of '68 Charger and '72 Camaro at the rear, even the front end is from an Australian Charger. But the length and width of the car reminds me of a '71 Charger. Presentation, presentation. A little action is nice, yes, but save it as a replay, not an image on the IGCD. And that last one (rear view) is from the PS1 version, take it out please! |
