Mafia II (2010) | Somthing they got wrong is 1942 most of the cars built had no Chrome for the war effort so There's a very low chance that there really 1942s more like 41 46 models
Chevrolet AK Series Mafia II (2010) | Note unless it was made just before the Auto shutdown for the war effort at that time I believe most 1942 cars had no Chrome so this truck is most likely 1941 or 1946

GMC 'Old Look' Mafia II (2010) | Possibly the toughest vehicle in the whole game due to having the engine in the rear. I've finished the game + DLC but sometimes still enter Jimmy's Vendetta to wreak havoc on the crooked cops with one of these buses. Jimmy always dies before the bus does!

Cadillac Series 75 Limousine Mafia II (2010) | Personally, I'd say this is a 1941 model instead of a 1947, considering the shape of the upper portion of the grille as well as the little turn signals beneath the headlights. www.conceptcarz.com/images/Cadillac/41-Cadillac-S75-Fisher-DV-10-MB_01.jpg Thinking about it now, the front end of the 1941 Cadillac seems to be similar to the front end of the Jefferson Provincial. On top of that, the 1942 Lincoln Continental (that the Provincial is based on) has a slightly bulgy lower section of its front end, just above the front bumper, much like this Lassiter limo. www.nika-limuzin.ru/images/history/hist_lincoln_14.jpg Very interesting...

Tucker 48 Mafia II (2010) | I would not consider unlockable. It's a mistake, in my opinion, since it would mean considering unlockable also the cars from some levels of Driver 2 or Driver 3. If you adopt the logic "you go further with the game, you DISCOVER new cars", then lot of cars on this website must be considered unlockable, either way, you don't need to do an event for unlock it, or a quest, or a mission. It's in the game, you go on with the game, you find it.
Tucker 48 Mafia II (2010) | Is the Tucker "Torpedo" officially ´48 or '48? Because there are listed Tuckers under both. If there is a problem with apostrophe in main name, I could change all Tuckers to ´48. I hope you found out the difference, one is a true apostrohe and second one is wanna-be-apostrophe, which is used in some launguages (czech or slovak for example) to recognize longer pronunciation, like in english [i:], [a:]. Web is not recognizing them as one thing, so if you try to find all "Torpedos", you will not see full list.
Willys-Overland CJ-1 Mafia II (2010) | Tuppence870 wrote There's still reason to be skeptical though. The in-game brand "Walter" appears to be Willys (their other car is the Walter Coupe, a Willys Americar) and this vehicle is likely based on the Willys Jeep, but with the typical minor changes we see on unlicenced vehicles in gaming. Coincidentally those changes may have brought the grille closer to the Datsun's grille, but I doubt the developers had the Datsun in mind when creating this vehicle. 1) Game model's grille is a copy of Dutsuns'grille; 2) Actually, grille is the only visual difference between americal Willys and its japanese copy. In this fact, 90% that this car is Dutsun; 3) Civil variant of 4W60 was never consist IRL, but military original was in active use during Korean War. Game model of Walter Utility is just a little changed copy of Walter Military; 4) Developers can don't know about 4W60 and they just see photo of this car and think that it's a one of the Willys MB variations. Same developers name GAZ-67 as "GAZ-69" in Vietcong and describe ZiS-151 as "Soviet copy of M35". Well, they dont know much about military cars.

Willys-Overland CJ-1 Mafia II (2010) | JFK wrote And what about game setting? Japan and USA were enemies, and I highly doubt that DLC War Hero is about some WWII enemy vehicles. 1) Nissan Patrol - licence-build of Willys MB which was produced in Japan for american military in Japan and Korea. Some of this cars was later saled yo civilians in USA; 2) It's a game. Same incorrect as MG-42 on italian-american gangster service.
Willys-Overland CJ-1 Mafia II (2010) | Yeah, it seems pretty strange. But the details all point to it being a Patrol, plus the Patrol wasn't introduced until 1951, 6 years after WWII ended.

Willys-Overland CJ-1 Mafia II (2010) | Same grille (without the bump at the top), same rear lights, it's even got the same single mirror on the left side. That's definitely a Patrol and not a Willys.

Lincoln Zephyr V-12 Mafia II (2010) | According to wiki, this car is also in base game at last chapter, I am going to find it out Downloadable star can be deleted, it is true! It takes long time (I was driving around in beated up Quicksilver, until I found Shubert Pickup Hot Rod, and then I was driving Yellow/Blue Shubert nearly until empty tank, when I saw white Walter Hot Rod in Car Rentals yard in one of its dark corners. I was very lucky, and there are some photos (Pickup is beated up after massive jump, I was so bored ), Walter has quite hard lock. fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1/t31.0-8/11043364_793824367332579_563664421340748522_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/t31.0-8/11046441_793824337332582_2477485547968450391_o.jpg fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/t31.0-8/10383775_793824363999246_9123936533732665376_o.jpg (dunno why middle link wont show up as a link, but it is normally working) -- Last edit: 2015-03-07 16:25:34
