![]() Toyota Innova Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | Update: I've finally found a pic of the car without the circles. And also, added a rear pic too.
![]() Toyota Innova Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | Jonathan in the future circles like that are unnecessary for an entry image.
![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | I hope TDUSC has classic muscle cars like the 1 and 2, I miss driving a 1969 Dodge Charger or a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 around Hawaii

![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | Shouldn't the G-Class be the G 65 AMG? It have a V12 badge on it. Also, the Cayenne could be the Turbo because of the front grille. -- Last edit: 2021-07-07 02:33:26
![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | With all due respect to them, I guess this will be the first time that test drive game will gets a PEGI 18 rate And it will be the first time since Test Drive 2001 that test drive game will be released to an Nintendo console
![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | New trailer confirms 4 more vehicles. - Lamborghini Huracan Performante - BMW i8 - Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG (previous gen, not current) - Porsche Cayenne (current gen) Edit: In a short piece with two of the game's developers, there's more (real) cars seen in the background, which may or may not confirm more of the game's cars: - Alpine A110 (modern) - Lamborghini Urus - Ferrari 488 GTB - Ferrari California - Jaguar Lightweight E-Type (old coupe with number on door) - Bentley Continental GT - McLaren 12C or MP4-12C Spider -- Last edit: 2021-07-06 22:46:05
![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | The trailer looked really good, Hong Kong is such a cool setting. I somehow have hoped for a 2021 release so it could crush Forza but 2022 works too. -- Last edit: 2021-07-06 19:55:44

![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | In case some of you don't know (there seems to be like zero promotion for this), tomorrow is the nacon connect where they will likely show the second trailer damianea103 wrote I’d rather have a good curated list of cars with a well designed map, than a huge car list where you won’t use 90% of the cars and a map that’s mostly forest or flat. I'd rather have a small selection of good car models rather than error riddled, 10 year old ones that get removed and readded as DLC in every second game Solarriors wrote don't have the team to build big open worlds. TDU 1 had a much bigger map than even FH4 and TDU 2 had two even bigger maps. They already teased a similar sized map for solar crown. -- Last edit: 2021-07-05 14:54:01

![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | Solarriors wrote My apprehension is the scope. They don't have the budget for a big car roster and don't have the team to build big open worlds. About new technological features for the physics and rendering I'm not sure. The previous games didn't have the biggest car lists in the world either since they weren't about including every car known to man. Just the greatest hits of the classic and modern eras of sports cars and super cars with some retro vehicles and beginner sports cars for good measure.

![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | Also confirmed with the new trailer are a few more brands not currently seen here, since only the key fobs are shown. That includes Audi, Bentley, Ferrari, and Mercedes. Also, the Bugatti key fob shown is all black with red stitching, which might be the Chiron Sport key fob, not the normal Chiron one, which means both the Chiron and Chiron Sport might be in the game. Can't confirm any models based off of the Benz or Ferrari fobs, as multiple models use the same fob for each brand. Bentley key fob is likely some sort of Continental, as the Bentayga has a completely different key fob, and I have my doubts that the Flying Spur will show up, but I could be wrong. Lamborghini key fob is likely either a Huracan or Aventador, as the Urus has a different key fob. -- Last edit: 2021-04-22 00:59:53

![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | TheGreaser wrote @Loek I agree. I do like something in the middle, especially with the TDU hoping that it'll be optimized. For TC2, it was definitely underwhelming. You need internet to run the game, night mode is short due to apparent hardware limitations, etc. FH4 is good, but I quit playing because it's gotten repetitive over the Festival playlist. And boy do they try and try to make the map bigger, but it's still far from 400 sq. miles. For me I hope the island is at least 3000 sq. mi., has 100 or more traffic vehicles, sports cars as traffic as well, because variety, and at least a hundred or more playable vehicles. And, if they are going for a real island, Mallorca (a toursit hotspot, province of Spain, and located just east of Ibiza) could be a good guess, and maybe Ohau could come back. But who knows. Eh I’m actually skipping WRC 9 kinda feels like milking, I probably should have waited before buying WRC 8 a month ago, I’m getting Dirt 5 for sure, they are more enjoyable, this French company do have potential but there is more room for them to improve Imo, and hope they can do the test drive game justice as it should V-rally was below average for me, so I don’t expect much on a test drive title made from the same guys, but like I said, we should wait & see, hoping it’s good at least
![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | Automotive Gaming wrote LOL Gear Club is developed by Eden Games, not SimBin My mistake, thanks for telling me
![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | MBR wrote Considering this is from the same guys that made V-rally, I wouldn’t put my hopes for it, sounds like a gimmick marketing move to up their poor sales It’s so easy to just use an old game title, and mark it as such, I wonder what are they up to next? Burnout? Driver? Who knows I would have preferred Simbin to develop the game, they are doing great for Gears Club, well let’s wait & see... WRC 8 is a good game and they're handling the car physics and driving etc. To me, that sounds like a good enough team to handle it. The creative design director is the same guy who worked on TDU1 and TDU2 and is now project manager. I'm not sure on how well this game will do, but the initial cards on the table are good enough if you ask me. Plus, if they manage to make the game like the both earlier TDU's, there's a gap in the market for a game like that. Inbetween the underwhelming TC2 and too driver focused (less environment focused) FH4.

![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | There's been rumours of a new test drive game for a while now, glad to see they are true. Both Test Drive's where great, there's a reason why so many newer games copied elements from them. Hopefully, it's good, it's too hard to tell with a seconds-long teaser.
![]() Koenigsegg Regera Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | Clearly it's regera for me
![]() Koenigsegg Regera Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | The Jesko's wing would be visible even if it was the Jesko. Plus the end of the trailer says Agera and Regera, and this is absolutely the Regera.
![]() Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | If it comes on consoles, then I'm buying a Series X when it comes out
![]() Apollo Intensa Emozione Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | TheGreaser wrote What's the point of adding a car if it's just a wireframed concept picture? Because it was shown in the trailer, and therefore is highly likely to appear in the game.
![]() Koenigsegg Regera Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown (2024) | This is a Regera, not a Jesko. I have never seen the Jesko in black color as far as I'm concerned. -- Last edit: 2020-07-09 21:24:15
