 Ford Taurus SHO Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Still the newest SHO in the Gran Turismo series. Don't know why they went back to a 1998 model from the 1999 in latter releases but I'm just glad they had it at all. You could actually race modify this one and turn it into my favorite NASCAR drivers vehicle, Mark Martin in his Valvoline livery before it was updated in subsequent releases of the same game to a more generic version. Still, cool to have a NASCAR Taurus SHO. And a surprising performer to unsuspecting people in all its iterations. | |
Ford Taurus SHO Forza Motorsport 3 (2009) | I remember when they added this car, I was more naïve of an enthusiast (especially to "normal" modern cars, I was more of a classic guy) as well but slightly less so than my friends who were all caught off guard by a more normal car being added in a car pack. They didn't even try it out, that is until I did and spoke to its surprising prowess. Oh and when they heard the turbos as I went past them. | |
 Ford Taurus SHO The Crew: Motorfest (2023) | I was surprised to see this traffic car return at this point in the series. It made sense back then and less so in the second game, especially being that this is the first pre-facelift model, to be a traffic car in that timeframe. But 2023? There's still plenty of them out there and I'm not saying they're completely unreliable cars but they're far from the most common of traffic cars like Taurus' were 5 to 10 years ago. Let alone the 2010 to 2012 model and again let alone the sport sedan SHO model. With all that being said it was nice to see this return being a staple of the franchise as an undrivable car at this point. It is nice to see an interesting traffic car, I guess it improves the game driving around. Would've been nice to finally get behind the wheel of the SHO. I'm sure there's no real way to operate this in modern games as they are today.  | |

 Ford Taurus SHO Forza Horizon (2012) | I still remember when this game first came out and assuming it would just be a regular Taurus and one time when I was racing around with my buddies I ran into the back of one and I noticed it was an SHO much later than I should have. I didn't put together they would probably just reuse the model from Motorsport. You could do some game save modding and drive the traffic cars and this was pretty much the only one REALLY worth driving and to want but very cool. | |

So the Xbox 360 version of this.. I got the game just so I could beat it a second time and get the list of achievements but there was a DLC vehicle that I had never gotten and I had always wanted.
