From what I've heard, this limit is because when you drived at very high speeds in previous games, the objects weren't loading on lower-end computers and you could crash into invisible walls (IMHO it's still a dumb excuse). Anyway - that's the reason why the car top speeds are messed up. To check the real top speed you have to go to the 1st person and read the speedometer or wait for the highest speed challange in GTA Online. For example, T20 has top speed around 200kph, Pigalle has ~210 kph and Zentorno has ~220kph. This isn't an excuse; I once rode in someone else's Vigilante, and the moment it accelerated, my game crashed immediately. In the end, the driver had to switch to a T20 to pick me up and take me to the destination, it was for an apartment heist mission. | |
