most likely just a taxi version of the crown vic we've already seen as a traffic & cop car:

I imagine Rockstar is also bringing car customization back for GTA 6, considering it was enjoyed and used by every GTA 5 and Online player.

this had an upscaled GTA4 interior in GTA5 (all-black) and it didn't fit the car at all, so it's great they're going back to update the ported cars' interior models.

hopefully this means change-able interior color too?

I think it's more a case of saving time/money using a "hand-me-down" 3D model they found in some old TDU2 folder. :p Nothing wrong with using old models of course, if they are accurate.

TDU2 had the V12 TDI model of Q7, and that front fender badge sure looks to match that to me, so i think that's the model figured out

Changed my mind actually, since it's a Tailgater, it can't be an S3 - that's an S4 8W (B9)

GTA is known to change the models behind the fake car names, both between the previous/new games and between their own DLCs in this one. Good example is the Dinka Jester, was the Supra in the last game and the Jester was an NSX in this (The Jester was added in the Business Update and the GTA:SA Supra was added as Jester Classic in a later DLC.)

The minivan was also made by 2-3 different brands in GTA IV, the Land Rover used to be called the Vapid (Ford) Huntley Sport instead of Baller while the GTA V Huntley is made by Enus (Bentley), and I believe there are more examples of this between those two games alone.

Definitely more accurate to go off what the car looks like now than what it used to with this series.
