There is no car called the Chevrolet Avenger, and this car appears to actually be a 2012 Bowler EXR S.

While playing the game I always saw these as a Volvo (possibly a FM). It has Actros headlights (although mounted lower than on the real thing), but otherwise the front end does have some Volvo-like features. -- Last edit: 2022-12-19 23:11:37

In the sequel, the successor of this car appears to be the Gallie, which implies that this is meant to be a Ford Galaxie (likely a '63) igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=289304 Also, these use space/astrology-themed names (Centaurus, Milky Way, Andromeda), just like Galaxie -- Last edit: 2022-11-08 19:36:02
Appears to be a successor to the Senpai from the original game, which was listed as a '68 AMC Javelin www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=220017 However, in that game its really only the front end that looked like the AMC, but here its been changed to something else.

This is not a Camaro. The name implies this is a Dodge Charger, but the body shape probably resembles the Challenger more. -- Last edit: 2022-11-06 19:41:30
Speedevil wrote The name doesn't really matter. Maybe, but it does give an insight into what the developers were thinking when they made these cars and for the most part they seem fairly reliable for identification in this game. This car for example could very easily be a Camaro, especially since the body style for this generation is shared with the Firebird it's currently listed as.
The details seem to be pointing towards a Japanese car, particularly with that Civic-like front end. The name implies it could be a Nissan Skyline (maybe a '72), but I'm really not sure about that.

The body shape reminds me of the Mercedes-Benz CLS (C257)
Looks to me liks this could be the front of the Kamaz: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=283881 but grafted onto a slightly altered body of the London bus from the previous game: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=202107
Vxctec wrote Yes, but the Model S has always been classified as a sedan, and has a conventional trunk. Well that's not exactly correct. The Tesla Model S is a liftback. Liftbacks are in a weird middle-ground between hatchbacks & sedans/coupes where they are essentially those body styles but with a hatchback-style trunk. Frankly I've always hated the way liftbacks are always considered hatchbacks on here (since true hatchbacks have their own distinct shape), but that's the way it is for now.

If we're going to list the civilian version, it should be listed as a Ford Fusion. -- Last edit: 2022-09-02 15:53:38
Like the sedan version, this is a mix of Impala, Cadillac & Fairlane. Although the sedan's body is clearly based on the Cadillac DeVille, there was no wagon based on that platform, however both the Fairlane & Impala were available as wagons. Of the two, it's probably closer to the Fairlane, but should it be listed as a Cadillac anyway for consistency with the sedan?
No single element of this car resembles an AMC Rebel - how did this get through? It has the body of a late 60's Cadillac DeVille with the front of an Impala and the rear of a Fairlane

Those orange lights on the roof are called trafficators and they're basically an early type of indicator/blinker that would fold down when activated. So to have them light up like the taxi sign is a bit of an error on the part of the devs.
Seems similar to the Toyota Corona Mark II GSS, both with the original from 1968-72 (front) & the second gen from 1972-76 (rear) EDIT: An important note to whoever edited this: Mark II is actually part of the model name & the 1969 model is from the 1st generation -- Last edit: 2022-09-01 04:28:42

Victor_2003 wrote Because the game set in USA, that is the cause to put the origin model in USA, since the car was produced in this country. This is not true, as I explained here: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=269586 It's a big job, but really all VW New Beetles should be changed to German origin.
