Killercar34 wrote I mean, is it really a custom vehicle? It's just a Civic with a trailer welded to it, like a makeshift truck bed. It literally is just that, so this and the other one should be listed as an 86 Civic like the regular Ibishu Covet.

Hitman 2 (2018) | JSYang01 wrote Do we need Hitman III page? Some vehicles only appear in Hitman III missions, or just add them to this page? There's already a page for Hitman 2016 where the same is basically true. Although all 3 games could be consolidated into a single Hitman: World Of Assassination page.

Vxctec wrote I have said it on the other picture and I will say it again. Only the grille on this vehicle matches the Toyota Yaris. The rest of it is derived from the Mini Cooper, with the taillights being from the Agyo. I can tell that if it had 2 doors at each side, then even a Fiat 500L would be a better choice over this than the Yaris at any time. I'm going to have to disagree with you there. Nothing on this car resembles a Mini of any generation (and I should know because I own one and am 3D modeling another). Perhaps the Yaris isn't the best fit, but several details are reminiscent of the Aygo, such as the rear bumper and the overall silhouette.
rayjunhwang1357x wrote What are you talking about? The model origin is USA, not Germany. As I explained in the link provided, very little about the VW New Beetle is actually American and I think they should all be changed to German across the site. Yes, the original concept car that the New Beetle was based on was designed in California (it's not unusual for cars to be designed in countries other than their origin), but the production car was designed and built in Germany, even if production moved to Mexico later. It's not like the New Beetle was exclusive to North America, and in fact certain models like the New Beetle RSi were exclusive to Europe.

Silnev wrote If you can get replacements that could be cool. Better rear images would also be good. I might try getting replacements for the whole game then when I get some time. Is it better to post replacements in the comments or upload them as new vehicles?
Silnev wrote Cool, you wanna be credited for these or would you rather get new pics? I'll take the credit for this, the '59 Cadillac & Silver Eagle Fire Truck, unless you think they need replacing? This one in particular is a bit mad. -- Last edit: 2023-04-26 03:35:52
Of the 3 MPVs on this platform, I went for the SEAT Alhambra (instead of the VW Sharan or Ford Galaxy) based on the grille. I also listed it as German, since it's essentially a rebadged version of those other minivans. -- Last edit: 2023-04-26 03:36:14
I just realised that the main images on here for the cut vehicles in this game are actually screenshots that I took for the Midtown Madness 2 wiki over 10 years ago. There's also 2 cut traffic vehicles that are missing - the pickup truck from the first game ( igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=21859 ) and a minivan similar to a Ford Galaxy / VW Sharan / SEAT Alhambra)
Leandro wrote ZAZ? But that's a russian company, not ukranian The first Z in ZAZ stands for Zaporizhzhia, the city in Ukraine where they are based (which is also where the model name Zaporozhets comes from). Most ZAZ cars on this site were made while Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union, hence the confusion. -- Last edit: 2023-04-22 01:37:27

Bruisemobile wrote As I said before, the New Beetle isn't of German origin technically. Its origin is USA. As I've said before, that's not really true. I explained my reasoning here: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=269586 There wasn't much of a consensus back then, but I would like to see some discussion on this topic because the American origin is bogus. -- Last edit: 2023-04-04 23:03:15
Vxctec wrote But it is still an American model that is differed from the German version. The Ford Transit in ATS is listed as a German model when it isn't. That is pretty much exactly what I said about the Buick, but the Transit is a different case. The Transit has a history as a European market model dating back over 50 years, whereas it only came to the US market in 2014. Ford of Europe is based in Germany, and most EU-origin Fords are listed as German to reflect that, including most other Transits. It's worth mentioning that the location of a vehicle's manufacture is not necessarily what the origin on IGCD refers to - instead it's more about the cultural context of what country the vehicle is associated with. -- Last edit: 2023-03-30 15:27:53
Vxctec wrote So this is an American-made vehicle and not a German one, the manufacturing plants GM own in Germany are only associated with Opels. I believe the reason for it being listed as German is because IMCDb views it as a rebadged Opel Astra. I'm not sure if that's an entirely correct assumption though - it does share the same platform as the Astra (as do many other vehicles like the Chevrolet Cruze & Volt), but unlike the Chinese Buick Excelle XT (which is literally an Astra with a Buick badge slapped onto it), the Verano/Excelle GT has it's own unique design. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors_Delta_platform#Delta_II -- Last edit: 2023-03-30 01:35:21
Not that I want to add fuel to this argument, but this car's boxy design probably leans more towards the older R129 SL than the R230
