If it looked more like the 60s version than yes but it's clearly inspired by the 2002 concept car. Just because a game is set in a certain time period doesn't mean that every car the developers include will be 100% accurate to that time period. You can find many examples of such on the site. | |

The vent on the hood and the split grille on the rear don't match with a 911, imho. Typically cars like this are unlicensed and to get around licensing costs, they are altered slightly so that they are not 1:1 accurate with the real car. This might not be an exact match, but otherwise it is pretty clearly meant to be a Porsche 911. | |

But from what I've read and from my own experience I would describe this game as "Japanese Driver". That said it is not fun to play and is incredibly tedious with how it goes about doing things. | |
