Some people ( kids ) will always whine as soon as the lineup does not consist of 100 new hypercars and jdm cars.
Eh, I'm with J-2 here. Not a huge fan of motorsport cars in Horizon. That's what Forza Motorsport is for, after all.
Forza Motorsport (2023)
Bit of a mixed bag honestly. There's a lot of major omissions. Also, this is not really this game's fault, but I see a lot of cars that could have made their way into Horizon 5, but haven't for some reason.

IMHO this car is iconic. Takeshi Kitano's character Aniki blew his brains out sitting in one in the film "Sonatine".
Well, that's pleasant.
Tourist Trophy: The Real Riding Simulator (2006)
Can't say I'm shocked that every non-Japanese manufacturer only had comtemporary bikes, knowing Polyphony.

With the exception of Steel Thunder (which doesn’t exist IRL otherwise) they’re barely any different except the flags and front decoration. So dunno whether they count.
Then again it’s true every truck except the bonus ones (fictional ones, Digger recolors and The Hulk) has it.
On other pages, fictional variants that are essentially duplicates with minor cosmetic differences are usually considered a unique car to be included in the roster. At least from what I've seen from other pages such as Gran Turismo and Forza.
Monster Jam: Maximum Destruction (2002)
Champion Editions are missing from this page currently.
Custom Made Dalek Saucer
Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality (2021)
Fast & Furious: Crossroads (2020)
So much for a season pass.
Aston Martin DB5
Need for Speed: Unbound (2022)
NoStyle is an appropriate name.
Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4
The Crew 2 (2018)
Why green?
Gran Turismo 7 (2022)
Man, I thought this page was never going to be finished. Glad it finally has been now.
The Crew (2014)
I always found the mixture of licensed and non-licensed traffic vehicles rather bizarre.
Test Drive 6 (1999)
It's actually got quite the good car list, including many goodies that never appeared outside this game. It's just a pity that the in-game models are so terrible looking.
Jaguar XE SV Project 8
Asphalt 9: Legends (2018)
Seeing this here gives me hope that Forza may get it soon, now that it seems the EA exclusivity contract on this car has expired.
Made for Game Custom Vehicle
Top Gear OverDrive (1998)
Very phallic.

Ridge Racer: Unbounded (2012)
How, in anyway, does this resemble an Audi R8?

xbox version add 2001 Chevrolet Avalanche and Moon level plus Moon Buggy
Those and the modification specs of the other vehicles. I would add them myself, but I unfortunately do not have a copy of the game at this time.

At least you're american, so you can still get it.
But I'm not a woman, nor am I into nail polish, so being an American hardly gives me an advantage.

I believe this is the same one that appeared on Top Gear.

But the Tsuru is literally BUILT in Mexico, and was sold there FOR YEARS. Surely such an iconic car for Mexico should be available in a car festival IN MEXICO.
That's because the Tsuru is a cumbersome piece of s*** that sticks its a** out if you so much as look at it. Much like my mate's mother.

Including pre-emission scandal or even pre-emission regs vehicles shouldn't affect anything. Sounds more like a punishment from the govt. for them lol, since PG couldn't get a license it means Stellantis didn't get any money. But it's still kinda ridiculous since Lancia is not directly involved with the scandal
I'm wondering if maybe Polyphony signed an exclusivity deal since Alfas and Lancias have been spotted in Gran Turismo 7 trailers.

But... they may not. Even though other Stellantis brands are in the game (Peugeot, Renault, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep), the Fiat Chrysler side of Stellantis is under some hot water. The EcoDiesel engines are currently in a VW-dieselgate like scandal with emissions cheating. The EcoDiesel engines came from Fiat and were used in more Fiat products. So the Chrysler and Peugeot sides of Stellantis are fine, Fiat is not. We may see either a VW not being in FH3 at all or Mitsubishi not being in FH4 at launch situation.
Well, I can see why Fiats may not be in the game, but what's the point of cutting Alfa Romeo and Lancia. While, yes, they are all owned by the same parent company, but why would this emissions scandal stop most of these cars appearing, especially since none of the Lancias are from the 2000s onward.

Was hoping this ugly POS got the axe. Oh, well.

I feel like the Arcade version and Switch port should have separate pages. This whole page is just a mess right now.

So this made it in at launch, but the Cortina didn't? The fuck?

Scummy for them to hide this behind that awful controller. Hope they add it to the game later through other means.

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
This being in Horizon 5 was definitely a surprise.
Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
I want some more news on the actual cars soon besides the sounds. So far, there's only been 8 completely new vehicles confirmed, and no returning vehicles from Horizon 1, 2, or 3.

My apprehension is the scope. They don't have the budget for a big car roster and don't have the team to build big open worlds.
About new technological features for the physics and rendering I'm not sure.
The previous games didn't have the biggest car lists in the world either since they weren't about including every car known to man. Just the greatest hits of the classic and modern eras of sports cars and super cars with some retro vehicles and beginner sports cars for good measure.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 (2011)
Should the Hot Rod and the Nissan 370z Nismo be added since they were cut cars that have actual in-game files?

With the new TDU coming out next month, let's see which one's more fun to play
I just hope my PC can handle it since I'm not upgrading anytime soon for obvious reasons and let's also hope that it gets a Steam release on launch day
TDU: SC isn't coming out in July. That was just a date for the next trailer.
Audi Q7
Test Drive Unlimited 2 (2011)
In reality, it seems to be a weird mish-mash of a normal Q7 and the Q7 Coastline Concept. Exterior color matches the Coastline, but the interior is just a standard Q7.
