2018-11-20 01:57 | Year is not 1969 due to the fender vents being the eggcrate design ('70-'72) rather than gill-like vertical slots ('68-'69). Based on clear parking lights in lower grille, this is probably a 1970 model.

2015-12-09 13:27 | Although the Escort was made in mainland Europe as well as the UK, this one in particular was definitely made in good old Blighty (Britain if that makes it clearer). Also, this RS1600 in particular is an AVO built (Advanced Vehicle Operations) model with flared wheel arches. Here it is in real life format with a set of Minilite wheels and four extra driving lamps on the front. s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/f5/14/5c/f5145c2e2f1668279c04fff1d804096d.jpg -- Last edit: 2015-12-09 13:28:22

2015-12-09 12:31 | Being a Ford devotee, I know that this isn't American. The first three GT40s (MkI,MkII and MkIII) were actually made in Slough, England and that implies that they were actually British, albeit with an American V8 engine. The only GT40 which was made in America was the MkIV, which is actually in this game now.
