Catan69 2017-12-14 02:37	After three years, I have to say that is a Legacy for the greenhouse, a bit the front fascia... but it's well mixed with the Mitsubishi Sigma '86 and '88, for headlights, tail-lights, rear wheel-arches and other minor details. Definitely a car between a Legacy and a Sigma. Nothing really american in its design, looks like is going to anticipate the hardtop japanese sedans that are going to appear through the 90s in Japan.

Catan69 2014-12-26 14:08	IMHO it's a Legacy first gen, the greenhouse is the one of the Legacy, as well as the boxy body. Only rear tail-lights and the tail-cut comes from the Camry.

The name "Intruder" would work as from the late 70's to the early 90's American car manufacturers feared Japanese manufacturers would take some of their customers. Calling a Mercury an "Intruder" wouldn't make sense.
