The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | A red british police car? Weird
The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | Tuppence870 wrote Red police cars are used by diplomatic protection in London. Although in this game they are used by armed police. I remember the first time I went to London and went around Picadilly Circus and saw those cars. I was amazed on how the game was accurate

The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | Viktor Skobel's Brabus S Class is a seperate vehicle from the regular Brabus S Class. It receives a performance boost and is always spawned in purple. Can I add it as a seperate vehicle -- Last edit: 2022-03-18 02:46:30
Rover Metro The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | Auto-Friki wrote Sorry? Wasn't MG who sold the Metro first? It started out as the Austin Metro in 1980, but was rebranded to Rover in 1987 when the Austin name was retired. During this period, the MG name was only used for performance versions of Austin & Rover models, hence the sportier Metro was an MG.
The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | Auto-Friki wrote Police or fire chief's car? Red police cars are used by diplomatic protection in London. Although in this game they are used by armed police.
Brabus A-Klasse The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | carcrasher88 wrote Because, at the time, they likely couldn't get the licensing for Mercedes-Benz products, so they went to Brabus for their versions which were, in theory, modified and trademarked as such that they could be licensed without Daimler's approval, because, unlike AMG, Brabus is an independent tuner, not an affiliate of the OEM. There were many games that licensed M-Bs from 2003 to 2005, but not every game that had licensed cars had licensed M-Bs, likely because at the time, Daimler was probably selective on who could license their products, which would explain why mainly the major titles, like PGR, Gran Tursimo, Forza, Midnight Club, and Need For Speed had licensed M-Bs, but smaller studio titles didn't. In fact, I don't think we'd see a 'smaller' studio title get licensed production M-Bs until Test Drive Unlimited. so its like ruf as a Porsche alternative.
Rover 3500 The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | J-2 wrote True, in BM only repeats the Laguna Break, the Rover 75, the Brabus A Klasse...and maybe 2 or 3 more cars. As well as the AEC Routemaster, the LTI Fairway, the LDV Convoy and the Iveco-Ford Cargo.
The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | In the game files a few cut cars have been found, besides the smart fortwo, which is already listed. The cars are: the Nissan Almera, a police version of the smart, a mark 5 Golf, a Nissan Patrol, a Primera estate, and a Saab 9-5 station wagon. There could be more, but I can't find any. And the unmarked 93 is lost to time.

Renault Trafic The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | Could it be that this was originally meant to be a Primastar, but they weren't able to retain Nissan licensing (Nissans appear in the first title, but not the sequel), so they had to convert the model into a Renault, which they did have licensing for?
The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | According to the game files it is a 220.

Brabus A-Klasse The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | carcrasher88 wrote No, it's a Brabus. Brabus' modifications to the W168 were rather minimal on the outside, as seen in this image that has all of the parts added to a stock W168 to make it a Brabus... www.benzworld.org/attachments/pic_a6-jpg.209486/ ...the wheels and bumpers are the only cosmetic changes on the outside of a Brabus W168, and this was from before Brabus actually replaced the three-pointed star with their own 'B' emblems. Why all Mercedes in this game are modified versions? and not a normal version like whatever another normal car in the street. There is no way to prove that it is a Brabus. In The Getaway the Brabus A-Klasse looks modified and fast, this 'Brabus' is so slow in the game and that not make sense if is a Brabus. -- Last edit: 2020-06-20 06:37:10

Brabus A-Klasse The Getaway: Black Monday (2004) | It´s a Mercedes-Benz A-Class First generation (W168; 1997–2004), not a Brabus. I don't see anything modified here.
