![]() Allard M-Type Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | If people in comment section are saying it's Allard P1 and even in the game files it's called "ALLARD", then why it's listed as Panther De Ville? When you compare Allard P1 with the GTA 2 Wellard, they both look almost identical. When you compare Panther De Ville with the GTA 2 Wellard, they clearly differ. ![]() Dodge Copperhead Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | I know the game set in 2013, but the design looks more a 1930s to 1940s luxury cars.
![]() Hillman Minx Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | I strongly agree that it's a Daimler Dart/SP250.
![]() Hillman Minx Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | Even the in-game basename suggests it's a Dart
![]() Hillman Minx Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | +1 for the Daimler.

![]() Alfa Romeo BAT 9 Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | This is one of the cars that don't appear in the PSX version. As in many other games, PSX and PC version differed alot.
![]() Marcos Mantula Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | The name Furore GT already indicates that it could be a Ford GT40. And if you compare the Marcos Mantula and the Ford GT40 the game model for me looks more like the Ford GT40.
![]() Volkswagen Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | BMW 321 design (the grille and the rear part shape, with no spare tyre on the back though) with VW Typ 1 body proportions, supposed to be a counterpart of the latter one. I love this car 'cause it looks like a baby version of the mentioned Bimmer. Here are some shots of the 321 www.bmwdrives.com/gallery/BMWcars/321/321_2.jpg www.classix.se/media/k2/galleries/289/oldtimer-bmw-321.jpg -- Last edit: 2018-04-03 00:39:59
![]() Allard M-Type Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | Allard P1, I guess.
![]() Allard M-Type Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | Its an Allard - they were noted for having grills that extended back up along the bonnet of the car: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f9/1947_Allard_M_coup%C3%A9_by_A_E_Gould_frontleft_2011-04-09_A.jpg Note that the in game name, Wellard, is a close match for the real car's name. And if I remember rightly, please correct me on this if I'm wrong, the car was entitled "ALLARD" in the game's files.
![]() Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | The Copperhead is the newest to be honest, but that's a concept car by Chrysler.
![]() Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) | Newest car in the game, believe it or not. And probably the most interesting because according to the official GTA 2 website... they wrote The cars themselves handle like a dream - modeled in three dimensions before being transferred into the GTA 2 top down 3D engine, they're based on a futuristic interpretation of huge 50s cars - as if Havana got transported to the 21st Century. This one slipped through the cracks, for sure ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-06-25 05:01:29
