Land-Rover Range Rover Sport Sleeping Dogs (2012) | OuIGCD wrote Do you have a permission from the wikia? It's been a long time. He's probably won't reply because either he's doesn't active or had been kicked out (IDK which one is true, I forgot) Anyway, I don't think he has a permission from the wikia. Unless he is one of the admin of the wikia/owner of this pic, he's cool if he adds it (but I doubt about those part though).

Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | I mean, even if does have the rear of a Mitsubishi Eclipse, pretty much everything up to the rear pillar is R8.
Fisker Karma Sleeping Dogs (2012) | This actually seems to have more in common with an Audi A5 Sportback, but still has some similarities with the Audi A7. Also, since this game's Panzer is an R8, it is highly likely that this is also an Audi.
Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Yes, needs to lose the Drophead part of the name as its not a convertible
Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | insanecow wrote Tuppence isn't Marec guys... his English is way too good, and he actually has worthwhile arguments to back up his points rather than just saying "wah mods why you no change dis car name?" Yep, we already know that. His argument has more sense rather than Marec. Tuppence870 wrote Regardless of that, remember this car? The front of this is clearly a Jaguar XFR/XJ, but the body is a Maserati Quattroporte, yet it has been listed as the Maserati. Here, the front is unidentifiable and the body is an Audi R8, yet it is listed as Made For Game. Also, remember this car in Sleeping Dogs? It clearly takes from the same styling cues as the Panzer, and has generally been suggested as an Audi in its thread (I personally believe it to be an Audi A7, since it has an almost identical body shape). If the Executive or Panzer is proven to be an Audi, then the other should be an Audi by default. Vehicles in GTA have more sense of realism rather than in here. For example, the F620 from GTA:TBOGT. It's a mix between Jag XKR and Maserati GranTurismo, but since looks really like XKR despite of the front, then it's a XKR. Meanwhile, the Executive is just like the sedan version of Panzer, but there are no R8 sedan in real life, and it doesn't look similar like A7. That's why it still MFG until now.

Opel Astra Sleeping Dogs (2012) | The body reminds me of a Kia Pro C'eed: And the headlights look like a Mazda 2. And the rear... Well, i have no idea about that. Anyways, i think this car staying Made For Game would be a good solution. By the way, fix the class, this is a hatchback.

Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Here's a tip Tuppence, literally almost everyone on this site has different opinions and it's pretty much fighting for a lost cause, it's going to turn into a unnecessary squabble that goes on for literally years (the Ingot from GTAIV for instance) not everyone agrees, regardless if it's obvious or not, plus, not everything gets changed as quickly as you'd expect. And my input about this car? Yes, I do think it's an R8, but for the sake of staying in the neutral party, I'm not pushing it to have it listed as such. -- Last edit: 2013-04-22 02:46:20
Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Look , it should stay as MFG... why? because most part in this car is different like this <<<< although it looks like combination of VW New Beetle and Porsche 356 , IT STILL a MFG

Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | civic_eg6_94 wrote I uploaded the rear shot. Seriously, the front and rear is barely resembles a R8. I can't see the new shots yet, but even if the front/rear details aren't exact matches, it's fairly obvious that the developer of this car was clearly using the R8 as a template and then added their own light/grille details to avoid copyright issues (like he did with this game's Ford Transit). This car is what the Panzer would look like in real life. For the record, I used the R8 images above and an Audi TT to make this image. In other words, this is exactly as the first comment in the thread describes. -- Last edit: 2013-04-21 20:39:48

Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Tuppence870 wrote If the lights are enough to make this MFG, then this must be MFG as well... The 9F has both vents in the bumpers and the overall shape and fronts are nearly identical to R8. While this, is just 85% similar to R8 judged by the body. There are no grille and vents on the front, and it has sort of Eclipse-ish rear lights and no vents on the rear bumper.
Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | civic_eg6_94 wrote To be honest with you, I kind of agree that this is an R8, but if it's only judged from the overall body. The rear light are far from R8. If the lights are enough to make this MFG, then this must be MFG as well...
Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Antti-san wrote Somebody should upload a rear view for this (and a better main picture). But, I have to agree the overall shape does remind me of the R8. Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Tuppence870 wrote I'm surprised at this inconsistent conclusion. Would you like me to put MFG on every car that fits this description? I don't. I used to agree that this is an Audi R8. You know Sparc from Sleeping Dogs? I saw it more as a Mazda 2 rather than MFG. I don't want to left any cars that has close resemblance to real life as MFG, but many doesn't really agree with my hypothesis as there are many users said that there are more mixed and too many speculations arrived on the process for searching the origin. Still, I can't win unless many other people agree with me.
Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | civic_eg6_94 wrote There are some reason that why it stays MFG. First of all, this car is a mix from many RL cars (Audi R8 body, Mitsubishi Eclipse rear lights, somewhat fictional front). Secondly, as there are too much mixes that made it hard to shown the origin of the cars. So that's why it stays MFG. I'm surprised at this inconsistent conclusion. Would you like me to put MFG on every car that fits this description?
Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | I agree with your theory and also with this car being an Audi R8, but my point is that Marec doesn't like seing a car being listed as Made For Game or Unknown, so he agrees with every guess, even when it's completely wrong. Example: There's a 1970s station wagon listed in as Unknown on the page, some idiot calls it a Ford Kuga and Marec agrees. See what i mean?

Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Andra125 wrote We will not rename a car just because you don't like the presence of "Made For Game". Get this straight, Marec. But we cannot just leave a car as Made for Game because the original poster said it was one. Nobody in this thread has given any kind of reason as to why it should be MFG, since every comment that hasn't been "it's MFG, so keep it MFG" has suggested or supported the Audi R8. Also, I personally believe that the MFG tag should only be used on cars that could never be identified as anything else, such as the Half-Life 2 APC or HAZE Buggy. Anything which can be identified as a real car should be identified by the one it most resembles. MFG isn't just a tag that should be applied to any car that looks a bit stylised... -- Last edit: 2013-04-21 11:12:00

Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Well you should've f**king said so - until now, nobody has said anything about an Eclipse, or anything that isn't Audi. Also, I found this which shows that yes, the lights are similar to an Eclipse, but the overall shape of the car is still very much an R8.
Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | i already played this game and the rear resemble 2nd gen of Mitsubishi Eclipse and ONLY side profile of this car only resemble Audi R8 while front don't looks like R8 So , let it stay at MFG , bro
Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Seriously? Is that how it works around here? Here we have concrete proof that unlicenced Car A is based upon real-world Car B, but because it is currently listed as MFG, it must stay as MFG for eternity, as OP could be Marec. Honestly guys - I'm trying to help identify a bunch of currently unidentified and misidentified cars and all I get is this bulls**t about me being another account of Marec. I even uploaded a mainstream game and searched every map for cars to help gain your f**king trust, but so far only one of my many suggestions has been acted upon (changing 'Range-Rover' to 'Range Rover Sport' in Battlefield 4) - even the suggestions I made to my own uploads have been either ignored or rejected. Also, if you haven't played the f**king game, don't try to argue with those who have, because they are going from experienced use of the cars, not just a blurry screenshot.
Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | We say MFG so let it stay as MFG , Marec....
Opel Astra Sleeping Dogs (2012) | Well this is surprising - my suggestion was deleted! I never would have seen that coming. Honestly guys, your customer service is worse than EA. Audi R8 Sleeping Dogs (2012) | sajmon14 wrote What makes it look like Audi? Describe it with atleast 5 sentences, then I might believe Okay. Firstly, the name 'Panzer' is taken from a German tank, which would suggest this car is German. You may also notice that a lot of features on this car are in exactly the same place as the Audi R8, including the mirrors, creases on the hood, artistic indent below the door, shape of the windows, creases around the wheel arches, etc. There are some modifications (but when hasn't an unlicensed car had some differences?), such as the dark metallic shape behind the side windows on the R8, has become another window on the Panzer, but it still takes the shape of the R8's panel. Similarly, the Panzer's headlights follow the same shape as the R8, but they have been turned upside down. The car also has some characteristically Audi elements to it. For example, the use of LEDs on the indicator lights is something that new Audi's are known for. Finally, the car shares some characteristics with the Executive in this game, which has recently been identified as an Audi A7. Was that enough?
