Vauxhall Cresta Destroy All Humans! (2020) | If we're being fair, the Cresta looks a lot like an American car, especially the '57 Nash. It's no more or less accurate than most generic vehicles. -- Last edit: 2020-08-07 02:33:38
Lincoln Continental Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020) | The car still looks pretty silly, sadly. The wheelbase and trunk are too long, and the front clip is painted the same color as the window trim for some reason.
Ford Ranger Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020) | RushCars24 a écrit Listed as a Dodge Ram in the previous SR installments, guess we'll better wait till the game releases or wait for newer gameplay preview videos to come out on the internet, hoping that the rear of the truck is mostly kept from the original version or likely being changed. We'll leave this as a Dodge Ram for temporarily until if we made a final decision more futher enough for these changes, then will changed to a Ford F-150. Oh, I can get a shot of the rear of the truck from the same video source as this, if that would make identification easier. It looked to be fairly generic if I recall correctly.
Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020) | I don't know if we're allowed to use gameplay from leaked copies but one had the Thorogood, which looks like a Tundra mixed with a Ford instead of a Ram.
Mafia: Definitive Edition (2020) | Where are these shots from? The only thing I had seen was the shot used for the cover right now (which appears to have a Bolt Model B/Ford Model A in it).
Mafia (2002) | It looks like the original Mafia will be getting a remake as part of a trilogy with 2 and 3. The car in the first bit of teaser seems to be a Bolt Model B. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAIMnrryFs8
Saints Row: The Third (2011) | Having seen some leaked/early gameplay, the Thorogood has been completely redesigned. It looks more like a mix of a Tundra and an F250 than a Ram.
Chevrolet Cruze Mafia III (2016) | uglyman323 a écrit A modern car in a game which as a ambient of 1960-1970s?? I think you might be a troll, but... The game is framed as a modern documentary, talking about the events of 1968 and Lincoln Clay. The documentary part is where they come back to Father James (a character in the 1968 part), much older, in 2016, where he talks about Lincoln and 1968. This and the other two cars only appear in the "documentary" parts of the game with Father James, which are set in 2016, not 1968. There are some historical problems with this games cars, but these are not it.
Land-Rover 88'' Everybody's Gone to the Rapture (2015) | Razor440 a écrit Poor thing! Always liked these, I wonder what happened. Having played the game, the explanation was the truck driver/local mechanic (Robert) was drunk and on the wrong side of the road and almost hit the car (a Fiesta) of a family (Sean, Diana, and a baby son Dylan) trying to leave town head on before swerving off the road. They leave the guy struggling to get out as they try to escape the quarantine, but can't leave anyway.
Buick Roadmaster Mafia III (2016) | saffron3d a écrit So... Is this the oldest vehicle in the game? Yes, by about 5 years. The second oldest is the Potomac Indiana. Not that unrealistic really, considering the amount of cars scrapped during WWII and how the damp and saltwater are unkind to cars.
Mercury Zephyr Payback 2: The Battle Sandbox (2013) | 1978 Mercury Zepyhr: momentcar.com/images/mercury-zephyr-1978-1.jpg
Chevrolet Camaro Mafia III (2016) | Razor440 a écrit Here's a suggestion- don't quote somebody if they have an image or if their post contains more than 160 characters. Does something so insignificant irk you that much that you need to make a post whining about it?
Buick Riviera Mafia III (2016) | HQMonaro1972 a écrit Sandman..is actually real. He live streams on YouTube, and he is my friend, but all his videos are unlisted. You can only find them in certain places. You not finding his existence doesn't mean I won't quote him in my comments. Okay, but that doesn't make the quote any less stupid.
Chevrolet Impala Mafia III (2016) | HQMonaro1972 a écrit The car in the background for the current one is a different colored Courant with a roof. Well gee whiz, who would've known that the picture changed over the course of 4 months?
Volkswagen Mafia III (2016) | Sadly, the engine model for this car has a miniature (like 1/3rd the size of the American cars) V8 engine in the front, even though it sounds more or less like a flat four.
Dodge D-Series Mafia III (2016) | HQMonaro1972 a écrit What old Ford? Oh yah, the Aspen is a Bronco No, it's a Scout. A pretty accurate representation of one, too. It even has the engine sound of an angry oversized four cylinder (even though every car in this game has a V8 for the engine model... even the Beetle.... in the front.)
Buick Riviera Mafia III (2016) | HQMonaro1972 a écrit As quoted by ICanHazSandman on his first Mafia3 stream "Goddamn old Rivieras, we need to stop, putting them in games." I couldn't find this person's stream video online, but I don't agree with his sentiment. There are lots of first gen Rivieras in video games (which is not a bad thing) but there are almost *no* second gen Rivieras (like this one) in games.
Dodge D-Series Mafia III (2016) | HQMonaro1972 a écrit Is it just me, or is it stereotypical for Rednecks to be driving old Dodges? Well, this game is chocked full of stereotypes. Literally every mobster is an exaggerated greasy haired thick accented Joe Pesci driving a big black Bonneville, and every person from the Bayou looks like they stepped out of Deliverance, can't string four words together in proper English, and drives a rusty pickup truck with the confederate flag on it.
Datsun 240Z Mafia III (2016) | darthj a écrit I would agree with the Datsun 240Z. The Aston Martin DBS has a totally different front. The Toyota 2000GT is much sleeker, very low with an elongated bonnet. However, as a 240Z it would be an anachronism as the car was only introduced in 1969 and really on the roads by 1970. With the game developers taking care to avoid such anachronisms it would be odd they let this one slip in. Taking care... yeah, except for the 1970 Ford Torino... that Lincoln has apparently owned since before he left for Vietnam in *1965*.
Dodge Coronet Mafia III (2016) | Sharky a écrit I'm seeing a ton of the 1958 Chrysler Windsor in this. Not the front end as much as the sides and rear (minus the weird taillight design in-game). Have you looked up a 1958 Desoto Fireflite? There's not much difference between it and the Chrysler, they share the same body shell, just with different trim/tailights/grille.
Shelby Cobra Mafia III (2016) | Well nearly all of the vehicles in Mafia III take influences from more than one vehicle, but its our job to find which one is most dominant. If both of you agree (as do I) that the Cobra is the closest of the several sports cars of the era that the Opus is based on, then we should list it as a Cobra.
Dodge Coronet Mafia III (2016) | It's not a 58' Dodge Coronet, and neither is the Protector. The front is 59' Dodge Custom Royal sedan, the body is 1958 Desoto Fireflite. The 58' Coronet is a completely different car, the Viscount.
Rambler Rebel SST Mafia III (2016) | Razor440 a écrit Didn't say it looked like one (recently), just said it was big like one. The grill is much closer to a Polara. And it's a hell of a lot more slab sided than a Coronet so it makes to sense to list it as a Polara rather than a Coronet. It's not either of them. It's a 1967 Rambler (not AMC until 1968) Rebel SST: i1.wp.com/www.curbsideclassic.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Rambler-Rebel-03.jpg This car's front is flatter, but nearly everything else is spot on. The greenhouse (on both coupe and convertible), the line below the beltline, the slight coke bottle shape, etc. The taillights/rear are very similar as well, just with the Rebel's horizontal slots made vertical (still two on either side though). -- Last edit: 2016-10-17 07:50:00
Chevrolet Camaro Mafia III (2016) | Maxine a écrit This happen to anybody else? I died and got a black one when I respawned. I had it happen with the Stallion. It happens with all the DLC cars when you die/respawn I think.
Pontiac Chieftain Mafia III (2016) | Mark0 a écrit Shouldn't this also be Pontiac Chieftain like in Mafia II? www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=19439 They only changed grill and rear lights There's very little difference between Chevrolets and Pontiacs in this era. The grille was changed to be much more similar to the Chevy: static.cargurus.com/images/site/2007/08/21/21/26/1953_chevrolet_bel_air-pic-27885-640x480.jpeg
Chevrolet Camaro Mafia III (2016) | edw8 a écrit Whats up with the quad rectangular headlamps? I guess it is supposed to be aftermarket accessories? Rectangular headlights weren't allowed on cars in the US until 1975. Considering they are on the car in its advertisements (in the playboy magazines), they aren't aftermarket accessories. They are, more likely, a poorly researched imitation of the slotted headlight covers on 1969 Camaro RS models: st.hotrod.com/uploads/sites/21/2012/04/mscp-1110-1969-chevy-camaro-rs-ordinary-to-legendary-01.jpg
Rambler Rebel SST Mafia III (2016) | This looks absolutely NOTHING like a 68' Polara. www.440magnum.com/mopars/2003/january/images/1970dodpolara500a.jpg I'll agree, it is pretty big and is the size of a full size car rather than an intermediate. But it is much curvier than the Polara, which is is all flat planes and straight edges. It is a Coronet or a Rebel inflated by 20%, not a Polara. Anyway, worth noting that, full size or not, this is a performance/muscle car in the context of the game - it has a 4 speed manual instead of the 3 speeds in most of the other cars, and it gets to 60 in under 7 seconds.
Pontiac Bonneville Mafia III (2016) | televisionjoe a écrit So the potomac isn't a "real " car? This is the closest real world car? That is correct. None of the cars in this game ever actually existed. They are all ficitonal, like the cars in previous Mafia games and games like Grand Theft Auto. They are based on real cars, but man things are changed.
Shelby Cobra Mafia III (2016) | Hakari a écrit Maybe it's meant to be Cobra but it doesn't look like one. Healey is a closer match if we are talking about the visual appearance. I guess this is how we identify cars here. That would be your opinion. The front is closer to the Cobra with the big fishmouth grille rather than vertical bars as with the Healey. The hood scoop is in the Cobra location; there's no side sweep as with the Healey; and there's massive "hips" behind the door as with the Cobra (the Healey is totally flat along the side). The rear and the taillights... look like neither. This also has a V8 engine sound and 3D model, not a 6 cylinder. And the damn thing has two seats without any space or mini-seats behind the front ones - again like the Cobra.
Ford Mustang Boss 429 Mafia III (2016) | alatriste2003 a écrit I'm going to put only the link this time: fotos.miarroba.es/fo/ec21/33588D9BC92C57FCAD4B3057FCA851.jpg fotos.miarroba.es/fo/1f16/31588D9BD02B57FCAD532E57FCA858.jpg How'd you get it to be black?
Dodge D-Series Mafia III (2016) | The non-separate bed is from a 61-63 F-100, the grille is a combination of a 1971 Dodge and a Jeep Gladiator (with the raised center of the grill and hood), the sides (beltline, wheel arches, lower molding) are 67+ F-150, but the taillights and greenhouse are from a 66-ish Dodge. The interior is 67+ F-150. Kind of a real clusterfuck of a mix between Dodge and Ford. Anyway, this is a short bed 4WD model (well actually AWD since there's no toggle...) that has pretty realistic performance for a 390 F150 or 383 Dodge, with about 11 seconds 0-60 and topping out at 90 mph in 3rd gear. -- Last edit: 2016-10-11 23:01:32
Shelby Cobra Mafia III (2016) | This drives like a muscle car, it's massively overpowered with a big V8 that makes the wheels spin all the time and it slides around in the corners. It's not meant to be an Austin Healey with a little engine, its meant to be a Cobra.
Ford Mustang Boss 429 Mafia III (2016) | Zordid a écrit I wouldn't be asking otherwise :P Just making sure I cover all the bases.
Ford Mustang Boss 429 Mafia III (2016) | Zordid a écrit Where can you get those cars ingame? Assuming you have the preorder bonus that includes this car, and have installed it; you need to play up until when you unlock Burke as an associate (after you take back Delray Hollow, the missions introducing Vito and Burke open up). Then the guy that brings you cars will be in your weapon wheel, and this (and the other two preorder cars) will be available.
Audi Sport quattro S1 Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | I wish there was a regular version of this.
Cadillac Seville Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | I would like to see the Esperanto (which I don't think is based on a Seville, but never mind me) return although Roman's one would be weird. No, a regular Esperanto, maybe with that red velour interior from Roman's cab, would be nice though. GTA V doesn't have enough 70s-80s cars.
Ford Torino Mafia III (2016) | It's not FWD, for sure. Seeing the way it slides (it is the "Drifter" after all) around corners and the way the backs spin, its a RWD beast. The only the car this is FWD actually is the Samson Storm I think, which is mostly 66-67' Riviera, but maybe has the FWD coming from the similar Toronado.
Buick Riviera Mafia III (2016) | PLEASE change the front photo: i.imgur.com/nfQUUw1.png . The current one is of a different car. -- Last edit: 2016-09-26 19:39:56
Chrysler New Yorker Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game (2015) | Where are my front longitudinal torsion bars goddamnit! It's sacrilege to put coil springs in this.
Plymouth Gran Fury Mafia III (2016) | Carini89 a écrit 1969 Dodge Coronet with a 1975 Gran Fury front clip carswithmuscles.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/%D0%B2%D1%814.jpg Nah man. The rear end of the 75' Gran Fury is closer than the Coronet is: www.curbsideclassic.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Mar-12-2012-002.jpg
Lincoln Continental Mark III Mafia III (2016) | The Wiseguy a écrit I love this car, I would say that it is my favorite so far, as well. I especially like the convertible version, the car has a very nice interior. This is definitely my favorite, although I really love the Mark III in real life so I'm a bit biased. The changes to the roof line are meh but the exposed headlight front end cribbed from the Grand Prix is nice. I prefer the hardtop to the convertible, but I do think the interior is quite interesting... if only because it has rear seat headrests, which were pretty much unheard of in the 60s.
Plymouth Gran Fury Mafia III (2016) | DariusPumpkinRex a écrit This can't be a '75 Chevrolet. The game is set in the late '60s. Whatever year, make, and model this car is will be settled when the game comes out. A car that's in a game set almost 10 years before it was built is almsot cringey... Well, my vote is for the Gran Fury... but as far as a car from 1968ish that this could be, IDK. The rear looks kind of like a 69 Dodge Coronet (classiccarsmark.com/images/full/1969-dodge-coronet-440-seden-4-door-6.jpg) but the front doesn't and the coronet's not as square as this (but then again neither is the Caprice). The Plymouth Sattelite/Dodge Coronet was the most popular American police car in the late 60s. Or what about a 71' AMC Matador (www.chase-cars.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/i017338.jpg) also a very common police car? IDK, the Gran Fury still seems closest: iams.pbworks.com/f/NYPDMCS_04.jpg, and it was used more extensively than the Caprice for police duty as well.
Plymouth Gran Fury Mafia III (2016) | Yes, it is named Eckhart Champion PE as seen at 2:05 in this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvYqZCVglZg
Chrysler Windsor Mafia III (2016) | EB a écrit here is one at 5:00...... www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UvCYalXwIY Thanks EB.
Buick Riviera Mafia III (2016) | EB a écrit In Game car name: Samson Storm What gameplay did you see this name appear in?
Lincoln Continental Mark III Mafia III (2016) | Again, in game name is Lassiter Palatine.
Buick Riviera Mafia III (2016) | Maxine a écrit is it just me or does this also have a hint of Fairlane in it, The rear end looks like a pointy fairline to me, but the rest is total Riviera ya, Wich is nice since I really like the riviera :P What year Fairlane were you thinking?
Plymouth Gran Fury Mafia III (2016) | Maxine a écrit can we really say Gran Fury, I mean I would just say Fury to keep it simple. but k? I do agree with pat here I think, It kinda fits, looks fairly close, fits the police car role wich is also the same car as this, and.. Also fits mafias tridition of having police cars from the future I guess? heh You have to say 1975 Plymouth Gran Fury. In 1975 the Plymouth Fury was a very different midsize car (upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/70/1975_Plymouth_Fury_coupe.png) while the Gran Fury was the full size car (www.curbsideclassic.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/1975-plymouth-gran-fury-hardtop-sedan.jpg).
Chevrolet Corvette Mafia III (2016) | It doesn't have pop ups, the headlights are quad rounds down in the grille. The 66' Riviera has its headlights behind the grille with flipping doors, but no pop ups on any cars as far as I can tell.
Cadillac Eldorado Mafia III (2016) | Front is closest to a 67' Buick Skylark/Gran Sport... the rear I have no idea. It's not a Lesabre, that's for sure, this is definitely midsize and not full size. |
