Weird. It's got a 90's front lip and a 2010 and onward body, just revolting.
Alan Wake (2010) | Wow, this page got a hell of an update!
Perilous Warp (2020) | store.steampowered.com/app/668320/Perilous_Warp/ Pretty fun little Sci-Fi shooter that feels like something from the early 00's. Short but sweet, even if it has only one car.
Devil's Hunt (2019) | Game is mostly complete. A few cars couldn't be seen up close but they were mostly cargo trucks and construction equipment.
The Main Characters personal car. Appears multiple times throughout the game but we never get a good look at the whole thing at once.
I have no clue what this thing is supposed to be but I couldn't resist adding it in. Looks like an old piece of concept art for some weird art exhibit. Meant to be "Made For Game" but I forgot to change the acronym during research.
That's a pretty interesting badge on the front lip and rear hatch!
Freedom Fighters (2003) | Can mods change the damageable vehicles to flat-out yes? The cars in this game pop like they are on the set of an 80's action movie!
Tonka Garage (1998) | Jesus, did this CD just explode for everyone? It killed the CD Drive of my families computer as well!
Perhaps the most modern abandoned car so far!
Damn shame it got cut as a drivable car, it would have been my favorite! D: Hope it shows up as DLC!
Watch Dogs: Legion (2020) | Man, what a paltry list of cars. You'd think they would go ALL-IN with English cars from the last 40 years but it's mostly just a sea of modern bland. Basically modern-day London but this is a game, damn it! Give me some ol' Opel's and Riley's and Lister's and crappy mid 70's rust-buckets!
Finally, an 80's G-Body!
Blood II: The Chosen (1998) | Couldn't get this damn thing to work on all 4 PC's I owned over my life, doubt I ever will D:
Now thats what I call a classy bus!
Funnily enough, I have actually seen Topkicks converted into Pickup trucks here and there!
Couldn't get the front view of this sadly, I realized I never got a snapshot and I am well past the point of going back in my current play-session to get it D:
Hard to get a photo of this one, the front view only appears on the main menu.
Blair Witch (2019) | Gotta say, these car models look killer!
With how there are already 2 Fury's in the game, it may as well be! Maybe it's a legit toy car model used as a reference by the modeler team.
alatriste2003 wrote I know is a reused model from MW. But it's clearly a modern vehicle for a Cold War game. They could use any other car from previous COD games that fits better in the game atmosphere. Didn't MW Have a beat-up wreck of a mid 60's Mustang in it? Makes you wonder why they didn't use that!
Silent Hill: Homecoming (2008) | Started playing This with the help of a big community patch so it's not an abhorrently buggy mess. Considering taking photo's of front-end's of some cars just to improve the quality as these look like screen caps from the console version. Do I just pop in screenshots with the "Add new photo" option on the car pages and an admin/mod cherry picks the higher quality photos to replace the older stuff?
Rage 2 (2019) | I remember the first page was just a wall of Made For Game cars. Shame, it was a very comprehensive list!
I'm surprised they didn't paint it blue with a name like that
Skid wrote The ads on the side and the back are the same as on the bus from "Speed," as well as it being the same model. A nice little '90s reference... Huh! I just noticed that myself! It's been a very long time since I last saw that movie so I took a bit longer to catch that! -- Last edit: 2020-11-14 08:07:42
Only seen a few times and I could never find a rear shot sadly.
Very hard to tell what this one is. Found it only once and there was a fence in the way, it's anyone's guess.
Surprisingly I found this 4 times during my playthrough! I reckon since they figured it was such a Nostalgic Car they went ahead and plopped it into as many parts of the game as they reasonably could!
Really unsure, I've been familiarizing myself with Caterpillars and while it has the aesthetics of one I can't pinpoint the model, especially with a cab that also covers the fuel tank.
Daymare: 1998 (2019) | Silnev wrote That's to be expected, it's a pseudo-remake of Resident Evil 2. See if you can't find a delorean, lol. You know, it actually started as a Remake of Resident Evil 2 before it got a C&D and they made their own Homage IP. And apparently it does make an appearance! www.artstation.com/artwork/2xmnOx I'll be the first to upload it once I find the damn thing!
Looks like a late 60's AMC Rebel Wagon to me!
Daymare: 1998 (2019) | Alrighty, I'm about mid-way through this game and it has a hell of a lot more cars then the average Horror-Action game! I've still got a lot of work to do so I'll keep updating the more I plow through the game!
Another odd-choice for Idaho in the late 90's. Anyone know the year?
Once again another reused model, except this one is definitely the games greatest anachronism so far, which is strange because the game is chock-full of 90's Nostalgia. I reckon they were trying to emulate a late 90's Lexus RX300.
Another reused UE4 model. Headlights are definitely from a 99-00 model so it just squeezes into the timeline.
Same model from multiple Unreal Engine 4 games. Still, technically in-tone with the 1998 timeline as the front-lip and grill are definitely from a 97' model.
Definitely one of the odder choices for an SUV, especially considering this takes place in Idaho in the late 90's.
Ubisoft seems to have a knack for making driveable firsts in their videogames. The Yugo from Far Cry 3, the Volkswagen Derby from Far Cry 4, the AMC Spirit for Far Cry 5...
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (2017) | Next time I play this game, I'm going to remember to take screenshots. No offense to the hard work here, but I can definitely help with showcasing higher-quality screens!
Another case of "Eh, no one would notice!"
The biggest casualty in the whole game D:
ObsCure II (2007) | The sequel definitely has more vehicles then the first. Again it was pretty tricky getting photo's due to the fixed camera. Some variants got wrecked so I included those as well due to them being new models. Also includes a short sequence where you control two Construction Vehicles to knock down walls. Not sure if that counts as drivable but you do interact with them so...
Very difficult Guess due to the fixed camera angles but the Obscure Wiki vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/obscure/images/1/15/Mewtrucksen.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20200409145716 has a photo that resembles an early 80's Silverado to me. Can't post it due to it being a Chrome Image
The Getaway (2002) | Holy SHIT that's a lot of cut cars! It would have been great to see all those make it into the final product! Especially considering they were licensed!
Doesn't look Resto-modded for the future either, looks like a Genuine Porsche 911 Turbo! Hope there are more hidden "Antiques" out there in the city!
Car appears in the intro as well as a bonus map.
Seems like a 92' to me. Both the Tempo and the Topaz had the same slit for a grill and flat nose from 92' onward.
Postal Redux (2016) | Oh man, getting good photos of this game is gonna be tricky!
ObsCure (2004) | Pretty decent horror game from the mid 00's. Only has one car but the sequel seems to have more. I'll be sure to play through that when I have the time!
Hard to get a good photo of this due to the fixed-camera angles utilized in this game, but looks very much like an Econoline to me. On second observation, it might be an 85' as I can't find any other vans before that year with that middle door design. cs.copart.com/v1/AUTH_svc.pdoc00001/PIX230/7e265e11-7a21-47ab-9d61-5896ca0ea6b6.JPG |
